Really great.

Book 3 in this hilarious and sexy series.
We get Cai, who absolutely refuses to fall prey to that dreaded mating fever, Two of his best friends have gone and fallen and he just can not do it… Or will he?
Ember is a riot of witchy goodness she and her other misfit witchy sisters just keep finding themselves in unbelievable circumstances.
I just love Cai and his playboy ways…And these two find they have more in common than anyone could have imagined.
I have to say this is my favorite of the three, but each held a new layer that is touched upon by the previous ones. Duke Cai Wyvern is a dragon shifter who has seen what happens when a dragon mating fails and wants no part of it. Ember Niamh is an elemental witch who is at the Dragon’s Den Casino to help with the flatulent serpent apparitions in the casino’s water fountain. And when they bump into each other, chaos ensues.
This one made me laugh out loud and broke my heart. It was a fun cat and mouse story with all of the participants reluctant enough to make it even more humorous. This trilogy is not like the author’s usual stories, but it was an entertaining escape and an easy read for a day. The characters wander off the path they should be taking and had me giggling more often than not. And the ending was perfect for the set. It was fun and left me with a smile.
I absolutely loved the Dragons Den series. All the stories were great. Cai and Ember’s story is probably my favorite. I loved seeing the story of all three dragons and all three witches come together. Cai and Ember’s overcoming their pasts and finding love was wonderful. I really wish there were more books in the series because I really liked the world Blair Babylon created for them.
More dragons and witch mischief abound in the Dragon’s Den Casino in Vegas. Last to be in charge of the casino before opening is Cai Wyvern and to get the entertainment inline for the grand opening as that is his specialty. But the fountain’s sea serpents and soft opening are still causing some trouble. Also needing work, Ember Niamh is recommended to babysit the serpents. It’s lust at first sight for Cai when he sees Ember.
Ember is an elemental witch, she can control all types of elements from actual elements to fire and wind. But she’s also got a bit a dark side to her magic too. And her witchy skills are put immediately to the test when some fire elements get out of control during a stage rehearsal. Can Cai outrun the mating fever before it hits him? Will Ember realize she does love Cai before it’s too late?
Dragons and Fire is a great wrap up of Dragon’s Den Casino, as it also brings Mathowny & Bethany, and Arawn & Willow back into the story to give closure to the two sets of friends and the future of the Dragon’s next King and Queen in which the 3 dragon’s each try their hand at lighting up the royal scepter.
I received an ARC for a voluntary and honest review.
I received an ARC edition of this book from the author.
3.5 stars
This is the last of the trilogy and I highly recommend you read the previous books before reading this one.
I will say I liked the 2nd half of this book a lot better than the first half. Although I could understand a bit of why Cai wanted to avoid the Mating Fever, the way he treated Ember was hard to rationalize. He acted like because of what had happened with his parents he was doomed to repeat their mistakes, even with having examples of other relationships that do work. Also, that he hid what was going on rather than reaching out for help seemed almost TSTL. I also felt like I didn’t get to know Ember as well as the previous heroines from the series. That being said, there were still some great moments in the book (some really hilarious scenes) and the later part I thought made up for some of the things I didn’t like in the beginning. Cai may have acted like an idiot in the beginning, but I think he does okay at redeeming himself later on. I also really liked seeing a conclusion to the plot that had been building in the trilogy.
A fantastic paranormal dragon/witch romance & it is the 3rd & final book in this series “Dragon’s Den Casino” The plot is highly entertaining & filled with humorous situations. There are good scene descriptions & world building. The characters are well-developed with realistic temperamental flaws & are inclined to be quite unhandy at times, I particularly liked the way the male dragons denied & even fought against the attractions they developed for their fated mates. There are character crossovers from previous books but this book can be read as a standalone.
There is: a dragon shifter (Cai, the Duke of Wyvern) is determined to never fall into mating fever then he meets a luscious but innocent witch (Ember) & he tries to the best of his ability to fight the attraction but it is a losing battle, The royal couple that wants to abdicate (King Llywelyn) & (Queen Bronwyn), dragon scepter ceremonies, fae, witches, sea serpents, friendship, fated mates, mating bonds, magic, drama, intrigue some twists, humor, attempted blackmail, instant attractions, contemplation, misunderstandings, fantasies, declarations, disbelief, verbal conflict, advice, explanations, doubts, realization, acceptance, bonding, unexpected surprises, some steamy scenes, contentment, love & a satisfying conclusion. I enjoyed reading this book & would recommend it.
.
Dragons and Fire is the third book in the Dragons Den Casino series. It can be read as a standalone, but I think more enjoyable if read in order. Cai is a Dragon and close friends of Math and Arawn from books 1 and 2. He recruits entertainment for his dragon clan’s company. He is a playboy and does not ever intend to find a mate. I really understand why he is this way and it’s heartbreaking. Ember is one of three best friends and a bit of a hazardous witch. She is so funny and tries so hard. Both of these characters are easy to love. When these two meet it is an instant sucker punch. As a reader, I felt it and couldn’t wait to see what was in store for them. I loved that my favorite serpents were there with some new and funny additions. The descriptions were as wonderful as the first two books! So imaginative and fun to read. There is a part in the book that had my heart racing. I kept chanting “hurry, hurry Ember!” If you need a read that has humor, romance, anticipation, heat, and imagination, this is it. The end was wonderful and as it should be!
This is Dragons and Fire: A Witches and Dragons Paranormal Romance, book 3 of the Dragon’s Den Casino series written by Blair Babylon/Poppy Wolfe. I really enjoyed every book of this series and I was really sad to see it go! I loved how Cai tried his very best to stay away from Ember, but he just couldn’t seem to follow through with it! AND the sea serpents with their terrible flatulence?? You will love the trouble that they cause! I’m not telling you anything else because I KNOW you will want to read it and find out all of the fun for yourself!! Its a definite don’t miss series!!!
I loved this book, as well as the whole series, and am sad to see it come to an end. All three are the perfect blend/ratio of hijinks, hilarity, and sexiness. Once started, I couldn’t put any of the three stories down. I started and finished Ember and Cai’s story in one day. If you haven’t started this series, I highly recommend doing so. Although I would say they each could be read as standalones, I think it would be more enjoyable reading them in order. As much as I love the stuff Ms. Babylon writes, I’m really hoping that we’ll be seeing more from her alter, Ms. Wolfe.
*I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This is my honest review.*
A good wrap up for this series.
I really enjoyed reading this final book in the Dragon’s Den Casino series. Dragon’s and Fire had a lot of light-hearted moments involving Ember and her elementals as she tries to fix the fountain full of sea serpents that we read about in the first two books. While you might be able to read this one as a standalone, I think you will enjoy it more if you read books one and two first.
Cai, Duke Wyvern, never wants to experience the mating fever because it destroyed his father. He refuses to acknowledge the signs when it begins for him – not a smart move on his part.
Ember Niamh, friend to the witches in the first two books, takes over the care and feeding of the sea serpents at the Dragon’s Den casino. She is completely drawn to Cai but can’t understand his hot and cold behavior towards her.
I love how this story was wrapped up for the three witches, Bethany, Willow and Ember, regarding the problems they have with their witchy powers. We also get to find out which of the men/dragons, Mathonwy, Arawan or Cai, gets picked to be the next Dragon King.
Book two remains my favorite of the series but all three of them are really great and fun stories. I really enjoyed reading something a bit different from one of my all-time-favorite authors, Poppy’s alter-ego, Blair Babylon.
I loved this final book. You will laugh and cry with these characters. I loved the way that this series has been wrapped up. I would love to see more set in this world. This wild ride is definitely worth reading over and over.
OMG, I loved this series, and Dragons and Fire did not disappoint; I only wish there were more coming.
The shenanigans of the sea serpents were LOL hilarious, and the chemistry between Cai and Ember was electrifying! The witches gain awareness of the reason for their ‘shotty’ powers, and a new Dragon King is crowned.
A pleasurable and funny read with some kindle-melting mating fever!
A Beautiful Combination Of Magic, Romance & Humour In This 4.5 Star Read!!
Cai Wyvern is the Dragon most determined to avoid the mating fever out of the 3 Duke Dragon bestfriends. He’s happy for Math & Arawn now that they’ve succumbed & found their mates, but it’s something he’s determined to avoid at all costs!!
Ember is an Elemental Witch. She is stepping in to help her 2 bestfriends with their magical misfires. Both of their new mates are Dragon Shifters, Math & Arawn, & co own a Casino that will open in a month in Las Vegas. Bethany accidentally conjured deadly sea serpents in the fountain & Willow, in an attempt to make them well again, accidentally gave them noxious f@rts Ember has to try keep them healthy & ‘try’ to freshen the air, if possible!!
Cai & Ember both have something in common, a Parent abandoned them. Of course for a Dragon a mate bond being severed has dire consequences! Cai was deeply affected by what he had to witness, it’s coloured his life & how he’s lived it since. Ember’s abandonment didn’t have such dire consequences to her life but it’s effects changed her Mother completely & it’s contributed to how she thinks others look at her & her Magic – almost as if it’s evil!! Ember is one of kindest people & couldn’t be further from evil if she tried, her Magic just has to take a dark turn at times!
When Cai & Ember meet will Fate step in or will their fears & insecurities make them turn tail & run? Oh & who will be crowned the new Dragon King or will it be a Queen??
This is a wonderful series finale. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed each couple & their storylines An unmissable, humorous, sexy & romantic Dragon Shifter & Witch series

This is the third and final book in this fun, entertaining series. The trio of witches and dragons, this one deals with the last of the three. The insecurities of Ember and Cai, are the crux of this story. The fun slide with flatulent sea serpents bring this series to it’s close and HEA for all three. Who is the Dragon King? Well, read the book and discover for yourself.
