This is a great continuing story which like the authors previous series ‘ dragon school’ is totally addictive, exciting and fun to read! With each episode you will fall more in love with the characters and with the story and like me you will crave the next episode!
Dragon: Tide Keys of Power is book 7 in Sarah K.L. Wilson’s Dragon Tide series that is follow Seleska and her baby dragon Nasataa journey to save the magic of the world and keep it from being stolen away by Atura and her manticores. Seleska has suffered much on her journey, but while the end draws closer, she still has a long ways to go and much to do if she is to succeed.
Dragon Tide: Keys of Power picks up where the last book left off. Much has happened while Seleska was in the depths of the pool, and none of it good. Her friends are gone, and the dragon who remains is seriously injured. She is trapped, but help is at hand and her quick thinking helps to bring it. Now she must continue her journey inorder to reclaim what was taken, but things only get more complicated from there. There are some twists and surprises in this book and they kept me page-turning.
I hate to say it, but I kinda smirked a bit when Olfijum tells Seleska that he’s really not that keen on her. I’m sorry but her offense at the statement is humorous, because she honestly can’t see herself for the way that she has been towards someone she says she cares about until it’s planted in her face. Once again we are reunited with old familiar characters, and I loved every second of it to see how their lives have changed and developed. There is one scene near the end that literally brought tears to my eyes. I was both happy and sad at the same time. As to be expected, this book ends on a serious cliffhanger that had my jaw dropping open in shock. I’m eagerly scrambling to grab the next book and read it because I HAVE to know what happens next.
I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. While Seleska got on my nerves to an extent, I appreciate seeing her take some responsibility and tone down some of the attitude. Yes, she’s the proverbial good guy in the series, but she still has her haughty moments herself. Which in some cases…it’s just really not needed. If you have read the series to this point then I highly encourage you to continue reading to learn what happens next.
Keys of Power is episode seven in this series and I definitely recommend that you read these books in order. Each book is very short and unless you have kindle unlimited it can be very expensive. However, this is a good series and in this book Seleska is in trouble and the action, drama and danger don’t seem to let up. Great characters and this book sees the return of characters from previous series which is wonderful. This is a very quick and easy read and it is a cliffhanger ending which leads into the next book in this series.
This series just gets better and better. Seleska, with only Olfijum the dragon as her only companion, is still in search of the keys that are supposed to stop all this madness. She was so worried about Heron and Nasataa, and if she can find them, maybe she could rescue them. However, at the moment she had to keep on with her search – even if it cost her everything.
Seleska’s call for help is answered. Olfijum is talking to Seleaka, and he gives her a talking to. The group gets split up again. Things don’t go well and then they get worse. This one just about ripped out my heart.
This is a fantastic series. If your a Dragon lover and Fantasy this is a Fantastic series to binge read. It had me on the edge of my seat. Routing on the characters I love. There are twists and turns as well as epic scenes. This would make a great netflix series. And a must read.

Sarah K. L. Wilson’s Dragon Tide somehow continues to get better and better – and that’s off from a five star start. Now in episode 7, Keys of Power, things are looking bad for our gal Seleska, with Heron and Nasataa missing and other woes mounting. Don’t count her out, however, but do count on one heck of an exciting and fun continuation of the series. Definitely recommended, but best to start with the excellent episode 1 first.
