A dragon in the shadows just found the love of a lifetime…Janet Dixon doesn’t believe in fairy tale endings. Wary of men, she’d rather hang with her girlfriends or alone with a good book than risk being hurt. But she wasn’t planning for Xander, with his tall, incredible body and cocky, irresistible charm. Everyone knows Xander could have anyone he wanted, so why are his vivid blue eyes pinned … blue eyes pinned only on her?
Women can’t resist Xander, with his bad boy good looks and natural charisma. But as a powerful dragon shifter, Xander only wants his mate. Janet might push him away, but Xander can see how much she needs someone to take care of her. Someone to protect her, and hold her, and show her that the all-consuming love in the books she reads can be hers, if only she’ll just say yes.
Janet can’t help but be slowly won over by Xander’s generous lovemaking, big, warm arms, and protective nature. But Xander doesn’t know how to tell her what he is, or what to do when forces beyond his strength bare down on them, threatening to collapse their new future.
Dragon Meets Girl is book 2 in the Forgotten Dragons series! It contains a happy ending, lots of love scenes that will heat even the scaliest heart, and a dragon who does unadvised things on a motorcycle with his mate.

Finding his other half
What an unexpected turn of events for this playboy. I am so happy that Xander got his chance for a true love connection, he just seemed like a misunderstood tortured soul waiting for his HEA. And boy did he find it, but not without the emotional angst that this author is so good at. I loved this book and I’m looking forward reading more about Taylor in the next book.
*WARNING* contains explicit sexual content
Xander is one of the twin red dragons. Xander is happy for his brother because he found his mate, but he is ready to be with a mate of his own. Xander has found his mate, but she seems to want nothing to do with him, she pushes him away no matter what he does, Xander just can’t figure why she hates him.
Janet is the who takes care of everyone. Janet doesn’t do relationships or boyfriends or love because men just leave heartbreak, her mother taught her that. Janet is independent, needs no one, and can take care of herself just fine.
Great story. You can see the development of the characters as the story progresses. I am hoping this series continues, I’d like to know more about the scientist. Taylor interests me because of his circumstances, so I’d like his story. Dragon Meets Girl is a sweet story of to “people” overcoming their pasts to live their future.
Omg can you off the charts good. If you loved Tristan;wait for it Xander is a must. Janet and Xander share keeping people at length. But the red dragon is enamoured with the human. She thinks he’s sex on a stick. However, if these two don’t reconcile their pasts it’s for sure lose lose situation. Characters are awesome and the story line is too die for.
The plot of this book kept me on the edge of my seat.
Characters are very entertaining and the chemistry between
them is definitely good and believable.
I definitely recommend this book .
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
meets
Xander met his mate, when out with Kelsie and his brother Tristan. Unfortunately, she wants nothing to do with him and believes him to be a player and constantly needing women’s attention….which couldn’t be further from the truth on both fronts
Janet grew up with a mother who was constantly negative about men because of her own experiences, which caused Janet to ensure she was self-sufficient and didn’t rely on anyone other than herself. She is very independent and up until now has had no need for a man….that is until meets
Loved this story of overcoming all past obstacles, learning to trust someone other than yourself with a few heartbreaking moments
Thank you to Terry for my advanced copy for which I voluntarily leave my honest review Keen to find out more about Taylor
Xander is tall, handsome, wears leather, rides a bike and is hot. He’s also cocky. Just the type Janet can’t stand–or sho she keeps telling herself. Hard to totally ignore her roomy’s new boyfriend’ twin. Why won’t he just leave her alone?
Because she’s the woman he’s waited a hundred years to find. His mate. He may not be all he seems. He flirts but doesn’t take any of the women up on their offers. She knows he can’t really want her. She’s tall, really tall, and curvy. Not many men are really interested in much more than once with her. She’s been told by her family often enough. She’s learned to protect and take care of her friends and herself.
He wants to protect her but she can take care of herself. How does she react? Will she give him a chance? Ms. Bolryder is skilled in giving the author sweet yet alpha heroes and Xander is one of her best. I’d fall for him that’s for sure. Beware lots of steam warning.
This book can be read alone, however, the first book is another winner and the price is too.
** spoiler alert ** Janet was always taught that you couldn’t trust men. Tristan has always been determined to not settle for anything, but his mate. She thinks he is a player. Will she learn to trust him? Will Tristan get what he has always longed for?
I loved seeing these two get their Happy Ever After. I loved seeing Janet slowly learn to trust and to let her walls down. Tristan was definitely an awesome man and I loved how he was willing to do whatever he could for those he loved. Great read and cannot wait for the next from this author.
