Chadwick, purple dragon and leader of his region, has his hands full. He has to keep visiting fae princes out of trouble, watch for a potential triad to mate with, and ignore the sassy human expert on fae customs who is bent on ruining everything. Still, Isabella is winning Chad over, with her zest for life and her constant misadventures. From the first kiss, Chad knows he’s in danger. Though not … not as much as Isabella will be in if Chad’s visions come true.
Isabella is hiding secrets. On the run from a past she’d do anything to forget, she never expected to be charmed by the sweet, soft-spoken, utterly dominant dragon hosting her and the fae. From the first kiss, she can’t seem to resist teasing him, chasing him, and getting him alone any minute possible. Because she knows that what they have can’t last. Not with what is coming for her.
As Chadwick and Isabella give into the overwhelming chemistry between them, they both fall deeper than they intended. Now Isabella will have to decide if she still plans to run from what’s hunting her, or stand and fight, even if it means endangering the man she loves.

This book is such a wonderful tearjerker. The pain is right there at the surface and so is the love. This might actually be my favorite book in the series. I love how the story took shape and the intensity of the emotions as they worked toward their HEA. I especially enjoyed the surprise ending. Such a fantastic story! I can’t wait to read the next book by the author.
*WARNING* story contains explicit sexual content
The purple Dragon has always been my favorite. Could you imagine seeing all that bad stuff happening in the future and feeling responsible to stop it? I enjoyed this. I especially liked the switch in mates, it was a nice change in this not having to be a “Dragon heart”. I found it interesting that the fae WAY stronger than the Dragon shifters. The story well written and entertaining.
This series is addictive.. Fairies, dragons and shifters can’t wait to see who else gets added into the fight to make the world safe for paranormals and humans..
Dragon in LOVE
Chad is the next dragon in the Forgotten Dragon series to find his mate Unfortunately, Trevor and Petra are honeymooning, he’s looking after the Fae, trying to use his visions to help people and trying NOT to be annoyed with the human sent to help the Fae acclimate to their new world.
Bella is just trying to finish up her job of teaching the Fae more about the humans, so that she can have her memory erased and she can be then return to lead a normal, simple human life Luckily, Fate has more in store for Bella and Chad
I received an advanced copy from Terry and I voluntarily leave my honest review and recommend this series to anyone who loves paranormal especially dragons
Isabella was sent by the Oracle to help the Fae adjust to the human world as they search for human mates. These are the good-guy fae and have rules as well as some serious egos as to their abilities. According to them, they are more powerful than dragons. Isabella begins their training by doing almost everything that will tick off the dragon in charge, Chad. She really annoys him–or maybe it is the opposite.
Isabella just wants to do her job and return to her old life. She doesn’t want to be attracted to the gorgeous dragon. She can’t let herself even if he makes her feel safe around the fae.
Both have reasons they don’t want to find a mate or at least not at this time and place. Still, they are hot for each other and resisting isn’t happening. It can only be for now, Bella vows. Her secrets she can’t share make it impossible. All she wants is what they promised if she helped them adjust.
Will what she fears interrupt her plans? Will Chad’s feelings help her? What about the fae? Their feeling of superiority changes to caring for her and even Chad. Will they help save her?
Another winner with an amazing world the author has built and just keeps adding layers and layers. The characters are loveable once they let the real them out. I loved all the characters and the surprise ending was amazing.
