The Haven is consumed by war. The Source has been compromised. Only Numa, an immortal dragon, can turn the tide of battle. As their ancient enemy brings destruction to their doorstep, the higher races must take drastic measures to stop her once and for all. Numa, the only immortal dragon who remains unmated, is the only one among them who can wield the power necessary to open a portal and usher in … portal and usher in their armies, and their last hope.
She’ll need a partner, one powerful enough to handle the taxing nature of the ritual. Unfortunately, Fate has not made this an easy task.
With no dreams of her soul mates to guide her, Numa has been made a prize in a contest that will attract immortal heroes and legendary gods. Whosoever wins shall have her as their partner, leaving little room for love.
Unless she happens to fall for all five men at once, of course.
To defy Fate’s design might bring annihilation to her people, but what is a dragon to do when faced with an impossible choice? And can the last of Fate’s daughters truly find love in a time of war?

I so enjoyed this book! It was steamy and full of action, and Ophelia’s characters are always complex and jump off the page. Numa was especially lovable, and her men…*fans self*
If it’s free then get it. I guess since I read this first before the other books. I was lost with the characters.
This was a great series.
Most of this book was just flat out sex scenes, after the first couple of them it’s just a blur to skim through as they aren’t all that great and got really old fast. I had to do some skimming to get through to the end. The end was actually satisfying. The earlier books were way better, this one fell flat.
Has Fate abandoned me? 5 DRAGON MATES
Do I have no destiny of my own? Maybe I did something wrong and Fate just … forgot. Maybe that means you get to choose… Help me find my mate. Sweet Mother, she needed to get hold of herself. I must truly be the luckiest dragon alive. What do you say, sweet pea? Ready to get this going? Oh, Sweet Mother! Ophelia is in all her full draconic glory!! THIS. WAS. FAN-DRAGON-TASTIC. Knowing that this is the last book, the one that is going to FINALLY bring EVER-Y-THING TO-GETH-ER, to ANSWER & END this AH-MAZ-ING journey, well it’s as exciting as it is sad! SUPER bittersweet! Which is why it was hard to start reading! I want to, NEED TO know how it will all play out, but once I do…IT’S O-V-E-R!! *waaaa* But I know & LOVE Ophelia’s books to bits, so I couldn’t delay and I had to dive right in! And HOLY GREEN DRAGON WINGS!!! WOW!! I had a hard time putting it down! I was so COMPLETELY and THOROUGHLY enthralled, engrossed & transfixed by the love, the heat, the depth to EVERY SINGLE ASPECT of the characters, the storylines, the games that Fate plays, every little detail, so much so that I cannot possibly even begin to put it all into words! Suffice it to say it is the most magical, most intense, most erotic, most DRAGONLICIOUS OF THEM ALL! TIMES FIVE!! One worthy of the Gods themselves!! Let’s be honest here. Ophelia Bell has been writing reverse harem stories BEFORE they were the latest trend, and in my opinion, they are STILL the BEST ones out there. Mostly because they are fantastically written, deeply enhanced, richly detailed stories that aren’t there just to cash in on a trend. Her reverse harem “situation” FITS the story, it’s how the ENTIRE series (and Dragon Universe, for that matter) has been playing out, and it is EXACTLY what was needed for the end of the series too! Once again, the incomparably talented Ophelia Bell is in top form and COMPLETELY. BLEW. ME. AWAY. from beginning to end!!! I was truly wholly, utterly and COMPLETELY consumed – mind, body, heart & soul!
I love this story and series. Numa is frustrated that she has to choose her mate/mates, unlike her siblings who dreamed of theirs and knew who they were. Meri finally reaches her goal of immortality. I highly recommend this series and am looking forward to the epilogue and Deva’s story.
The most powerful and evil enemy of the Haven is finally at the point of winning and in order for Numa to beat her, she must have a mate as powerful as she. This is the fascinating story of the struggle to beat their enemy and of the five men trying to win the position of her mate. She loves them all and they her and to win her they must prove they can give her the highest pleasure she has ever had, for that in turn will give her the power to overcome their enemy. I love the way the author brings in past characters to show how the story has moved along to this point. The world building in this series has been magnificent, the characters draw you in, the action grabs you, the evil is powerful with the most horrendous acts to get what they want. The path of sensual love making Numa must have with the five men is mind blowing and will have you squirming. Grab this book now to find out all that the characters have to go through and I know you won’t put it down till your finished, and make sure the kids aren’t around as I’m sure the sexy action will have you letting out a moan or two.
I am truly at a loss for words.
Dragon Equinox is the epic conclusion of a masterfully written series.
Aside from the hot and steamy dragon love, the multiple story arcs that came together and made all the puzzle pieces fit, deserves nothing less than a standing ovation. I loved this world and the fantastic array of characters/races, all coming together with a common purpose.
This journey has been so worthwhile and entertaining. If you’re looking for the same old, this is not your stop, but if you’re looking for something that’s challenging and original, I encourage you to experience these Immortal Dragons.
