If she knows the kind of person he is, she’ll dump him faster than an overloaded dragon can fall out of the sky.Althea has time for everybody in the pack but herself. She’s too busy to sleep, but not busy enough to distract herself from her aching loneliness. When she finds a dragon shifter caught in a bear trap, that loneliness (or maybe that lack of sleep) prompts her to propose a fake marriage … marriage to help him find needed sanctuary. Griffin is thoughtful, charming, and oh-so-sexy. He also appears to be into Althea. His jokes mask a deep darkness, though, and Althea has to remind herself that their relationship is all a sham.
Griffin has come to upstate New York to locate the last two of his father’s offspring—Alistair and Devin VanTassel. What he finds, though, is not just the two dragons he expected, but a growing family that includes children—and a whole pack that depends on the cousins. He also finds Althea, the hardest-working, sweetest woman he has ever encountered. He’s drawn to her, but she’s too good for him, too good even for the pack she works tirelessly to mother. All he knows is he can’t turn her or her pack over to his bloodthirsty sire, but he doesn’t know how to keep the monster away from them without sacrificing himself. Maybe that will be a fitting end for his sorry, cowardly life. Traitors like him certainly don’t deserve the kind of bond that seems to e growing between him and Althea.
With a satisfying happily-ever-after, this latest book from Emilia Hartley, is a complete story in its own right. Second in Tooth & Claw series, Dragon’s Devotion is a fast-paced, steamy romance. Best for adult readers.

Series still going strong. Althea, drunk tired out patrolling for a rogue beast. She comes upon a man caught in a bear trap. Between her tiredness, her bear and instinct, she brought the stranger home to care for him. She had some doubt, but her exhaustion and her bear assurred her she would be okay. Griffin, was bone weary. He has been alone for a long time and he carried a heavy burden. He was on a mission for his dad Baldrick which was complicated and always ended badly for someone. Althea is a new complication. Then he met Atticus, Devin, Max and Frankie and Moira. What should he do? Should he complete his mission? Why does he care about Althea. What will Atticus say? Good story. Nice to see how Atticus and Frankie are doing. Looking forward to hear how the series progresses. Nice solid characters!Well done! I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Althea has taken care of her pack for years. She is second in command and works her self tired every day doing things for her pack that she loves. But she works herself so hard for another reason, she and her bear are lonely and figures if she works to tiredness then she can’t linger on her lonely thoughts. When she hasn’t slept for over 24 hours and goes to do one last thing for her pack, she finds him. The dragon interloper, Griffin, on their land is caught in a bear trap and is unconscious. When he wakes up she notices he has one blue and one green eye. He wants to hide from some one and she says let get married, then he would be part of their pack. But Griffin isn’t telling her the whole story. He doesn’t fell worthy of her. Will Althea want to be around him when the truth comes out? Will he stay around? Will the trouble following him catch up and ruin everything? Will Griffin leave without telling her they are mates? Will she get over the loneliness? I am voluntarily leaving this review for receiving the ARC, but I do so gladly because this book is a great tale about redemption and realizations. The characters are well written and they feel like you know them. The relationship between Althea and Griffin is one about forgiveness from others and ones self. Althea has had to keep her emotions in check, what happens when they come out? This read is engaging and you don’t want to put it down until you finish it. This is another great book in the series. Each can be read alone but is much better together. You are drawn into a world that Emilia Hartley creates and it does not disappoint. If you want to loose yourself into a great book, this is it. Very enjoyable read.

Griffin is hiding from his father, who has evil plans for the pack. Neither expects the connection between them but Griffin’s dragon and Althea’s bear aren’t giving up. Fantastic story and series a must read. . .
Spend a day in VanTassel Territory in New York in January with this NC17 quest as Griffin Delacorte struggles with the destiny pinned on him by his father, Baldrick. I had an ARC and this voluntary review is my own opinion.
Trial by Fire
Who knew that a shifter would have such a screwed up relationship with his beast but that is what Devin is living in turmoil.
Moira is just trying to do her job so she can move on to a bigger and better future.
Choices and memories are not as cute and dry as these two would hope but can they overcome misunderstanding to look towards the future?
Read their story to find out. You will not be bored.

Althea is second in command to Atticus’s pack, there isn’t much she doesn’t do, yes she could delegate, but Althea isn’t that type of woman (bit of a micromanager if you ask me) so that’s why she’s stumbling around the forest after hearing noises! She should have gone to bed, she has yet another busy day tomorrow, but she needs to know what is out there……
Griffin is in trouble, basically find and lure Atticus out into the open so Griffin’s father can kill him!
Getting to the forest Atticus lives was no problem, getting caught in a bear trap and being rescued by woman, was not part of the plan! But actually it’s worked out better than Griffin hoped. Not only is she freeing him from the trap, but helping him by feeding him and marrying him!! What?! Wait a minute! Marriage? Yup, this lovely bear shifter has agreed to marry him!
At first I wasn’t sure about Griffin, he was only out for himself, he’s already sacrificed his own kin to stay alive, and now he’s taking advantage of Althea! But as the book progresses we find out about his background, he’s not had an easy life, no, there is no excuse for what he’s done in the past.
Althea is a good character, she’s selfless, she’s a caregiver, but she can’t stop. She has to give everything of herself. Why? Well again you’ll find out in this book.
I enjoyed the interaction between these two characters, we also have a chuckle at how much Griffin doesn’t care about the rest of her pack. He will look after her, even if she doesn’t want it!
So can Althea and Griffin make a go of the marriage of convenience? Or will Griffin remain true to form and break her heart?
And once Griffin sees the pack and Atticus together, can he really set the dragon up and watch his father kill him?
This book hits all the marks, we have enough information on the pack to keep me interested, we connect with the other characters, so I’m now invested enough to want to know more.
Detailed enough to keep you focused on the book and the characters.
I received this book for an honest review and all thoughts are my own
Darkness and Sweetness. This is the second book in this series and is just as well written as the first. Griffin is the darkness in their very quick relationship (marriage in name only) while Althea is sweet and caring. She’s not sure why, when she rescued Griffin from a bear trap, she suggested a fake marriage. Griffin doesn’t think he can fight the darkness and his past which involves his monster of a father. Can this dragon fight for his bear mate? Sweetness wins for sure.
Look what she found in the woods today
Dragon Devotion is the second book in the Tooth & Claw series and is the story of Althea and Griffin. Griffin is one of the three remaining brothers who are all dragon shifters. Althea is a bear shifter who finds Griffin caught in a bear trap in the woods and frees him. They are drawn to each other and it is an interesting journey they take together to get to their HEA.
This is a nice second book in the series but I felt that some of the intense spark was missing between Althea and Griffin. I would have liked to see my Kindle flame up a bit more with these two. But overall it was a solid book and a nice addition to the series.
I received an ARC of this book from the author for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
WOW

What a great book! From brooding bad boy with major Father issues.. to grumpy dragons and bears and wolves and a fated mate.. it is a great story with plenty of action and angst 10 things up! A definite must read!

Griffin felt guilt and shame for what he was forced to do, but the need to survive was stronger. Althea’s insecurities made her put the welfare of others before her needs and that made her take a risk that could affect her and her pack. Two characters with too much to work. Griffin’s sad internal struggle and his lack of faith in himself was interesting but what I liked the most was how he supported Althea and reaffirmed her worth despite her doubting herself so much. Action, suspense, good characters, intense and good teamwork fight, interesting plot, some funny scenes, romance and passion. First book of this series that I read and liked.
An awesome entertaining story with adorable characters a hot, broken dragon shifter, a lonely, beautiful bear shifter, an adorable dragon child, a slightly wonky pack, and an evil dragon! Broken by his father, tracking down dragons, delivering them to their death, biding time til his own death, not daring to have hope! Meeting a bear shifter changed his life even before he realized she was his mate! Protecting her gives him the strength and courage to face his fears , together they will fight to survive! Full of hope and surprises, you feel their emotions, their feelings of hope, betrayal, unworthiness, forgiveness and love! A very powerful love story!
I enjoyed this story and getting to know more about Althea and Griffin… oh my. He’s someone that takes a moment to like, but I was really pulled to him. I love Althea, she’s such a loyal, determined woman with definite self esteem issues. They work so well together. I’m ready to dig in to more!
The author has brought back some of our favorite characters and introduced us to some new ones. The story pulls you in and never lets go with the amount of secrets, lies, betrayal, danger, action and love/lust.

Griffin Delacorte a DragonShifter
on the run or is he? He a tool for his father, he brings his blood dragons to his father, Baldrick can kills them. Now he’s interested in Atticus but he made a mistake and end up caught in a bear trap and rescued by a luscious bear!
This review is my own opinion, this author is one that I love to read her books.
Dragon Devotion will pull you into the world of Althea and Griffen as they discover who they are, what they want and family.
Althea is so busy doing everything for others that she forgets herself. The night she comes across Griffen in a trap that changed. Not only did she do something she wanted, but surprisingly someone was doing something for her. Griffen is not what he seems to be, he has done things he is not happy about and has been a lone for a while, but meeting Althea his world shifts.
Althea is a selfless, caring bear that will drop everything for anyone if they ask. She always put others before herself, but this does not make her weak, she is the strongest because of her love. Griffen has been his father’s tool for years, bringing other dragons to their end. Fate not only brought him his mate but also a way to being life and a family.
This story is full of love and caring as heart melt and eyes are open. You will laugh so hard at time, while being on the edge of your chair the next just waiting to see what will happen.
