I did NOT fall for a hot mysterious billionaire who is actually a dragon.
Nope. Not at all. Not in the least.
Night nurse Andi Ngo is back to her mundanely real life – finding her stupid brother who went on the lam the moment she bailed him from jail.
But she can’t forget her date with the Damian Blackwood, not because he’s cut like her hottest dream, not because he’s a billionaire, and not … he’s cut like her hottest dream, not because he’s a billionaire, and not even because he’s secretly a dragon.
For just a few delicious moments, Damian didn’t just make her feel like she mattered, like he actually cared, like she could be his…
No, better not to think those thoughts.
But when dangerous magic threatens her patients, Andi doesn’t know who else to turn to.
One may walk free from a dragon once, but twice?
Andi’s only mortal after all…
This is the first of a slow burn paranormal romance series featuring a hot dragonshifter hero: heck yes, explicit scenes are in here but you’ll have to be patient for the HEA to come.

Book two brings us delights…
Nurse Andi really has things go all sorts of wrong for her in the second book of this amazingly good series. Although Andi and Damian still haven’t gotten their HEA it doesn’t take from the story. They are both too busy trying to stay alive and protect.
Tons of magic, mayhem, and action in this one and I can’t wait to see what the next book brings. The one thing they both know is they can’t walk away…
Dragon Destined by Kara Lockharte is an awesome story to read. I loved reading this story very much cause it has dragons in it and I can not wait to see what this awesome author will write about next. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about magic, dragon shifters, Sci-Fi and paranormal romances.

The second book of the series and really should be read in order. The story just keeps getting more intense as secrets are revealed and danger keeps getting worse. Damian may be a dragon shifter but he definitely has some internal conflict with his beast. Andi is one tough woman. She will do anything to find her brother. But the nurse side of her will help anyone. New evil will show its head. Expect danger but also some pretty hot scenes. Can’t wait to start reading book three.
When I started Dragon Called, I didn’t realize there would be a cliffhanger and immediately dove straight in to Dragon Destined! I am hooked on Andi, Damian, and Damian’s colorful crew of magical misfits! The tension between Andi and Damian’s push and pull relationship, Andi’s missing brother, some unexpected surprises, the Hunter’s dastardly plot, a really steamy romance, and great battle scenes…onward to book three!!
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
I loved how easily book 2 picked up after book one. We got to see and learn more about Andi and Damian. They are. Oth trying to do what’s right for the other despite how they feel.
I enjoyed getting to learn more about each of Damian’s team as well. Especially Mills and Jamison. I already didn’t like Andi’s uncle, but I really don’t like him more.
And that one scene with the little boy and the dragon…my heart melted.
I can’t wait for the next book!
It was great to be together with Damien and Andi and follow them on their way towards each other.
I liked their interactions as before and enjoyed their getting answers and results.

She’s a nurse with an in trouble brother He is a dragon who has to protect the world from the things that slip in through the rifts between worlds. Andi is still searching for wayward brother who disappeared when she bailed him out of jail. Damian is the dragon she is trying to forget, but he isn’t forgetting about her. Strangers appear at the hospital and a dangerous patient comes in. She doesn’t know who else to call for help but Damian. “Uncle Lee” and deadly Hunters are added to the mix. Damian and his crew are trying to hunt the Hunters killing shifters in the community. Much magical things are happening and unknowns are accumulating. Is there a connection? Will Andi’s brother be found? Will they track down the Hunters? Will Damian convince Andi they belong together?I am voluntarily leaving this review for having received the ARC and I do so gladly because this was a great read. There is a little bit of everything in this book, mystery, intrigue, romance, action, and magic. The story is well written and the characters are interesting. The romantic times are great. The adventures are great and there is never a dull moment through out the reading. I recommend this book and series. You won’t be disappointed.
Engrossing paranormal, good versus Unearthly evil and romance! All Andi wanted to do was find her brother! When he went missing, her life got complicated. (In a BIG way!) Of course, Damien is included in those complications. Likeable characters (would like to see more of Grimalkin ), and a good storyline leads to a good read. 3 1/2 stars.
I enjoyed reading Dragon Destined. I felt the storyline had a great flow with well-developed characters. The story kept my interest throughout and is well written. I would recommend reading this book to anyone who loves paranormal and dragons.

The great plot was well written and the characters were so well developed that as I turned each page the chemistry between the characters kept me totally hooked until the very last page!

I am So glad that the story continued. The romance continued and was more involved. Very well written. Would like to see if this story continued and future romance with the other players.
I liked this book alot. The characters really resonated with me. The plot and storyline held my interest from the first page to the last.
I loved this second installment. I love the characters and the ways they connect. I loved the interactions and outcomes. I am so looking forward to the next installment.
WOW that was great.
This story was so intense and jam packed with adventures that had me rivited. Do yourself a favour and start reading at book 1 first. This series is sure to be very popular. Recommended.
Wow I enjoyed book one and this book didn’t let me down. So we see Andi still looking for her Danny, Damien and his men are still trying to track down either hunters. But Andi and Damien are still drawn together, which we kinda knew would happen anyway. This book whilst it starts a little slower picks up the pace but I’m now left with more questions than answers. Love a book that will draw me into the next one. This story hits on real life topics like trust and faith with still having an amazing fantasy feel.

Damian and Andi’s story continues and it is intense.
Damian and Andi have gone back to their life but things are no longer the same as they struggle with their feelings for each other. Damian continues to protect the world and Andi goes back to work at the hospital while trying to find her brother. But as the fates would have it their lives are once again brought back together and intertwined.
Dragon Destine will keep you on the edge of your seat with the action, the twist and turns, along with the wow did not see that coming. Can’t wait to continue their journey in the next book.

Kierra is surrounded by supernaturals but hasn’t come into her power. When Lucas rescues her from an unpleasant situation, he explains that they are mates but that she hasn’t come into her power yet. There is so much more to the story – twists and turns, she becomes a prize but can she end the curse? Fast paced and easy read with a lot of surprises along the way.
Andi’s pursuit of locating Danny is putting her in dangerous situations as Damien watches on. When he finally steps in, it’s just in time. Some questions are answered and more are created. I’m enjoying this series.
Nurse Andi Ngo works at the hospital on the night shift and is still searching for her brother, who disappeared as soon as she bailed him out of jail. And she’s trying to forget Damian Blackwood, who is totally wrong for her and oh, he’s also a dragon. But when some strangers appear at the hospital and a dangerous patient comes in, she has to contact Damian, because this stuff is right up his alley. Damian is also trying to forget And, although he and his dragon feel that she’s the “one.” He thinks he should protect her from his dangerous life by leaving her alone, unfortunately danger finds her anyway. There is quite a lot going on, we learn more about Andi’s “Uncle Lee” and then there’s these unscrupulous and deadly Hunters added to the mix, and of course Damian’s crew is still fighting creatures that are coming through rifts, so there’s never a dull moment in either of Damian or Andi’s lives. Just like in the first book, there are some sizzling romantic scenes, and I think this couple is going to have to just give in and work on a relationship because they’re meant for each other. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series to find out what happens next with this couple, and the rest of these great characters.

This book has all kinds of things going for it. It is the second book in the series, but could be read as a stand alone book. There are dimensional rifts popping up with all kinds of bad things popping out of them. Grimalkin the cat is really cool and I want him as mine! There are family issues to be dealt with, dragons to tame, and hunters to fight. There is a lot of action going on and I loved this book. I would highly recommend it.
