He wants to keep his family’s secrets. She wants to find the story that will set her apart as a journalist. Too bad they can’t both have what they want.Ever since Devin failed spectacularly at leading the Dragon Quarry Shifters, he’s kept to himself. Now that his cousin is back in charge, nobody needs him. If he holes up in his mansion for long enough, maybe the rest of his pack will forget … forget about him and his heavy-handed ways. When he gets lonely enough, he’ll burrow into the earth in dragon form and let time take him. It’s not such a bad fate. He doesn’t need people, especially not the pesky reporter his cousin’s wife sends his way. She really should have known better. If the human reporter uncovers their secrets, she could ruin them all. That’s why Devin wants her to stay away. It has nothing to do with the way she throws him off balance every time they’re in the same room. He’ll keep telling himself that until he believes it.
Nobody else in Moira’s newsroom wants to touch the Devin VanTassel eligible bachelor story. They think it’s too much trouble for a fluff piece. Moira, on the other hand, thinks this might be the opening she needs to uncover the VanTassel family secrets and write a career-making story. Besides, she’s not afraid of Devin. Sure, he looks menacing, but she had a one-night stand with him years ago that still keeps her warm at night. She doesn’t know what to do, though, when the fire of their attraction rekindles, and she discovers a sweeter, more vulnerable Devin than anyone could have expected. She also discovers Devin’s secret. It could definitely make her career—but also ruin him, and maybe the rest of the VanTassels as well.
All she has to do is print it.
If only she hadn’t fallen in love.
Dragon Desire is a steamy romance with vibrant characters and a satisfying happy-ever-after. Perfectly good on its own, it’s even better when read in sequence with the rest of the books in the Tooth & Claw series.

Fantastic book and series loved all the characters. A must read series. . .
The author has given us characters we can care about. The story pulls you into the lives of Devin, dragon shifter and Moira, journalist and never lets go.

First book in the new Tooth and Claw series. I’ve read a few of the authors books, and I have to admit I’ve enjoyed them.
So ……
We met Devin in A Dragon’s Christmas.
Had to admit, Devin was a complete asshole, he had a God complex, he though he was entitled to his cousins property, and treated the staff horribly, so it wasn’t a surprise that the staff wholeheartedly welcomed his cousin Atticus back.
Slinking away to lick his wounds and nurse his battered ego, Devin wants nothing to do with anyone.
Moria wants a story that will make her a name in the journalistic world.
But she also wants to know what makes Devin tick, he’s a recluse, but a rich one, so why isn’t he dating?
There is also a small part of Moira that wants to know if he remembers her, they had a one night stand years ago, she fell for the charm and the kindness she saw, but in the interview she has with him, there is none of that visible, in fact, he doesn’t remember her at all!
Moira is aware there is something going on, but what? People act strangely around Devin, why? When she’s around him, all she sees is the guy who is nursing a wounded heart.
The more time she spends with him, the deep she falls, but when she discovers his secret will she expose both Devin and his family? Or will she have fallen so far under his spell that it won’t really matter?
Devin’s dragon has taken a shine to Moira, it wants to get closer to her, it seems to want to mark and mate her!! But as far as Devin is concerned, that won’t happen, he’s made everyone around him unhappy for years now, this is his punishment.
But the more time he spends with her, the harder it is to fool himself that she means nothing to him.
Now I don’t think you’ll need to read the previous book, but it does help a little. But not a great deal. You could call it a prequel to this series.
I enjoyed reading about Devin and Moira. I liked how we catch up with his cousin and wife. Love how he pretends he only puts up with them, you know he’d lay down his life for those close to him. We watch him struggle to accept forgiveness, even if he thinks he doesn’t deserve it.
I received this book for an honest review and all thoughts are my own
I really enjoyed this dragon story. It was well written and the characters well developed. Moira, a reporter, was going to do a story on an eligible bachelor who she had a one night stand with about 8 years previously. Devin, the dragon shifter, didn’t remember her but felt something was familiar in the back of his mind. Devin is attracted to her but doesn’t think he is worthy of a female or mate. His dragon knows she is his mate. Shifters are hidden. Devin finds a video of him shifting on Moira’s phone and is so angry he tells her to leave. He is heartbroken. But Moira doesn’t give up and love wins for them both.
Loved the story
This is the beginning of a new series about Moira a newspaper reporter and Devin Van Tassel, dragon shifter. This story links with a previous book with the characters of Atticus Van Tassel and Frankie but this is a stand alone. Moira was given a fluff piece by her editor. She was given to interview Devin who has been voted “the most eligible bachelor” in the area. Years ago Moria had a one night stand with Devin that she can’t forget so she looks forward to meet Devin again. But the years haven’t been kind to Devin. Devin lives in regret on how he and his dragon acted and treated Atticus and Frankie who has forgiven him. When Moira comes to interview Devin, he is ruff and surly and he doesn’t recognize her for she has changed during the years. Moira doesn’t give up and learns more about Devin and his secret. Being the reporter does write his secret or follow her heart? This is a very enjoyable story and a great beginning to a new series. Moira was a reporter. She had to do an article on Devin; a one night stand from her past she couldn’t get over. Devin was a recluse dragon shifter on the verge of going into a forever sleep. Then Moira showed up and even though he knew he didn’t deserve her, his dragon clawed to claim her. Their road to their HEA was filled with a bit of danger and deception. Interesting and exciting story

Moira is a journalist and when their editor asks about someone going and doing an interview with Devon she volunteers. Moira met Devon awhile back and saw a different man from what others talk about. With this interview she hopes to get to know him more and show others another side of him. However Devon isn’t interested in an interview looking for love and makes it plain. Moira ends up going back several times but the more she’s with him the more she falls for him. When she sees him change from dragon to human she is stunned. At first she plans to use it for an article but as she gets to know the family she knows that she can’t. What will happen if Devon learns what she had been planning? Can they be together?
This is an amazing story once I started it I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between them is sizzling hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

The story of Althea (a bear shifter) and Griffin (a dragon shifter). Althea is high ranking in Atticus’s clan. One night on her way home she went to check out a rumors of someone being on their territory. After being awake for 24 hours already, when Althea gets to the land she finds someone caught in a bear trap (Griffin). Exhausted, Althea decides to help Griffin out of the bear trap, and then after listening to his story, she marries him to keep him safe on Atticus’s territory, at least until he is well. If you enjoy paranormal stories, you will want to purchase and continue the story where I just left off (at the beginning). The characters and story line are superb, on of the best written I have read in a while. You will truly enjoy the read, it is worth your time.
Griffin, dragon shifter, has been on the run his whole life, as his father wants to kill every one of his offspring, he produced over hundreds of years.
To be able to survive he occasionally send other dragons his father’s way, but he had never met any of those dragons. This time is different.
While he is checking on the van Tassels, he gets caught in a bear trap and Althea finds him and rescues him. Althea took over the mothering role in the pack, although she is still quite young. Helping others is her second nature, but it comes at the cost of her health. Tired after a 24 hour day when she meets Griffin she suggests they get married to give him the right to stay on pack land.
Griffin had never planned to get involved with the pack, but fate decreed differently.
The second TOOTH AND CLAW story is not only a love story, but a story of love, redemption and finally finding a home. A really enjoyable book,

First of all, where do I sign up to get my own Griffin! Neither him or Althea realized they were missing something in their lives until the night she found him. This book had me going crazy, so many ugh missed opportunities to get together and so much pain but with pain comes forgiveness. This book had me from page one, I love all of Emilia Hartley’s books but this one has become my new favorite!! LOVED THIS BOOK! If you like lost souls then are searching for the one they are meant to be without even realizing it then this is the book for you!

Wonderful story, I loved this book so much, it was a job to put this down, it gets its claws into you, so much so I read this fantastic book in just 2sessions.I highly reccomend this book highly. Best of all it has as the lead character a hot dragon
I loved this terrific romance. This well written book offers up the perfect balance of steam, sweetness and sentiment. I thought Devin and Moira were amazing, complex characters that so easily stole my heart. The storyline was entertaining and engaging and captured and held my attention as the book unfolded and the couple’s relationship unfolded. Drama, tension, emotional turmoil, intrigue, desire and suspense fill each page and help to provide a truly excellent reading experience. I am choosing to post a forthright review.
When Moira is asked to write a dating profile on Devin, an old one night stand, she has no idea just what it will turn into and how it he will change her life.
Absolutely stunning piece of writing with a great cast of characters and some intriguing plot twists.

A good story on second Chance… in love, life, work, and relationship. But unfortunately the story is marred with missing words, wrong pronouns, and other grammatical errors.

A wonderful story with great characters and storyline. This story is about a reporter named Moria Applegate and a dragon named Devin VanTassel. They will captivate you from the start with their emotions, romance, secrets and desires. I really enjoyed this read from start to end.

** spoiler alert ** Devin struggles with his dragon. Moira has always dreamed of having a big story to get the promotion. The heart wants what it wants. Will Moira choose her career or her heart? Will Devin realize what his dragon is trying to say?
Have to say my heart went out to both of these characters. Devin was so lonely, but so afraid of letting people close that he put off don’t mess with me vibes, when underneath, he was a big softy. I couldn’t blame Moira for questioning writing the article because it was the ticket to what she had always wanted, but loved how she chose to follow her heart. Good read!
