I really enjoyed this book and thought it was a great ending to the series. I loved seeing Issik’s Kingdom, Iculon and thought his palace was beautiful. I also loved seeing the diffferent relationships between Olivia and each of her Dragons’. I was a tad annoyed with Olivia while reading this book at how she kept so much from the guys including constantly talking to (being guided) the woman in white and that they were actually the spirits of their mothers. Olivia seemed to get a bit frustrated at her Dragons when they were trying to keep her safe by thinking through all the possible scenarios instead of jumping headfirst into danger as look how well that seemed to work out when her and Issik went into the Volcano to get the Star of Fire and all hell broke loose but she was doing to same thing for them as she didn’t want them hurt as their powers were slowly disappearing as well as her love for each of them that it would destroy her if something happened to any of them. I think JL Weil wrapped up the final battle between Olivia and Tianna as well but I would’ve loved the ending to be a little bit longer as it would been cool to see how Olivia and her Dragons’ lives are like now the threat of Tianna has been dealt with and the curse has been broken. I’d recommend this book, series and author to everyone.
***I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.***
This was the last book in the Dragon Descendant Series and picked up right where the last one left off. I am not into Dragons and wasn’t going to start this series, but as soon as I did, I feel in love with all the dragons!
Olivia is almost there and only has 1 more star to find. However, there are so many questions left unanswered and Olivia’s future is very uncertain. These dragons love her and will do anything for her but she will also do the same in return.
There are so many twists and turns in the book that keep you on your toes. And that Ending?!?!?!!! OMG! It was amazing! I am sad to see this story end but enjoyed the ride.
What a fantastic Ending!!
The end is in sight, but is there a HEA for Olivia, her dragons and the world she has fallen in love with? A surprise reunion with someone Olivia wasn’t expecting to see, new opportunities arises. This amazing roller coaster ride comes to an end with a big bang! I loved every single book and Thawing Frost did not disappoint! Well done by an amazing author. This book and series is a definite must read as the characters and storyline will draw you in and you won’t regret reading it!
I really enjoyed this series. I’m not usually a reverse harem kinda girl, but oh baby!! Olivia has 4 incredible dragons to help and love, and she sure doesn’t mind! the adventures they go on are exciting and the interaction among the men is comical. Excited to read the final book, I had been waiting for its release and was not disappointed.
This book is amazing, I love everything about the series and this ending is epic. It’s an awesome read, the dragons are amazing and Issik is awesome! If you love Dragons and RH then you don’t want to miss this series.
What can I say but an amazing and enthralling completion to a series that was well written with alluring characters and attention grabbing detail!!
4 & 1/2 stars rounded up.
I enjoyed this book & it was a great finale for the series. I felt the flow kind of slowed down in a few places, and there were a few places that left me puzzled. I was sad for the 5th dragon, I was so sure she would fix him at the end, so that was a disappointment for me personally, though the ending made sense overall. I would have loved an epilogue of sorts to show the HEA down the road, maybe with a baby on the way sort of thing. Overall, a great series!
The final act is near. Olivia must find and retrieve the Star of Frost, so she and her dragons are off to the Ice Prince Issik Westgard’s frozen kingdom of Iculon. Once she has the final star the curse on her beloved dragons will be broken and they will be restored to their full-strength but the fight with the witch Tianna will not be over. They must still find a way to destroy the witch to ensure the safety of the Veil. Olivia has no idea why she, a headstrong human was chosen as the keeper of the Stars and the Savior of Dragons, however, she does know that she will give her life to save her men and their world. With the help of the Women in White, the Stars, and one important wanderer she plans to win.
This final book brings an ending to Olivia and the Descendents story. Jase, the Dragon of Tranquility; Kieran, the Dragon of Poison, Zade, the Dragon of Fire: and Issik, the Dragon of Frost have met their match, their equal and their love in Olivia. It amuses me how they seem lost as to how to deal with her so often. It doesn’t matter if you are a prince or a powerful dragon, one little girl can bring you to your knees. I do like how they finally made their feelings fully transparent in this final book. She is the most important person to each of these men. About time! It only took her getting kidnapped, nearly dying multiple times, and the threat of losing her forever to make the love proclamations flow.
I have had personal issues with this series at times but I have loved the story from the beginning and I have loved the cast of characters. The suspense in each book kept me spellbound from beginning to end. Tianna was a more than worthy foe as the evil witch. The world-building in each book was exceptional and each book was full of original twists. I was pleased with the final resolution. Olivia grew so much from the street rat she began as to the scared girl to the strong woman she was at the end. She changed so much, yet kept her original self intact. The guys all changed and grew up in order to be worthy of her. My only complaint is that the ending was a bit incomplete. I would have liked to spend a little time in the Veil, not under the threat of Tianna. Did Olivia tell the guys about their mothers? Do they get to see them now too? What happened to all of the girls in Jase’s castle? Is he going to continue to house them knowing that they all wanted him or another of the Dragons? How about Olivia’s friendship with Juniper? How are all of the people who were trapped? Did they survive? Those are just a few of the things I would like to know.
Olivia is on her last Quest to find the lost star of Frost in Issik Kingdom, I was so excited for this book to come out! there’s so many twists and turns in this book you don’t know what’s going to happen next you can’t even guess, J.L. Weil brought so many feelings out and This Book I laughed and I cried so get some tissues ready .
I don’t think there is anything Olivia wouldn’t do to save Issik, Jase, Zade or Kieran she would give her life for them.
The relationship the dragon princess and Olivia have built is truly amazing to see how they all have grown throughout all the books I truly have enjoyed it. The ending was perfect so sad to see it end but I know I will be re-reading it many times that’s how much I enjoyed this series!
I have loved this series by JL Weil so much. These characters have come a long way in their struggles to break a curse and fight against an evil witch. There were twists and turns I did not see coming that made the story engrossing and addicting. I am sorry to see it come to an end, but this book gave these characters the perfect ending to their story.
