Crashed spaceship. Prison planet. Snarling, lethal predators. Two big, hulking, bronzed aliens who turn into dragons. The best part? The dragons insist I’m their mate.
The Zorahn wanted women for some kind of super-secret science experiment, and I volunteered. Dumb move, right? But they promised we’d be safe, and they offered a lot of money. Money I needed desperately. Of course, everything went … I needed desperately.
Of course, everything went wrong.
Our spaceship has crashed on a prison planet, one where the Zorahn exile their most dangerous criminals. My friends are injured. I’m all alone on a jungle planet where everything is designed to kill me.
Then I run into the Draekons. When they see me, they change into dragons and burn the predators threatening me to a crisp. They feed me and care for me, and they keep me safe.
But there’s a catch. The Draekons insist that I’m their mate. And the only way they can shift into dragons again to save my friends? Both of them need to mate with me. At the same time.
This isn’t the space vacation I thought it would be.
Draekon Mate is the first book in the new Dragons in Exile series. It’s a full-length, standalone science fiction dragon-shifter MFM menage romance story featuring a snarky human female, and two arrogant aliens that keep her warm, with or without dragon fire. (No M/M) Happily-ever-after guaranteed!

One woman will bring them to the truth
Such a good book! Who knew traveling to an alien planet will result in finding true happiness? There might be some tragedy, danger, excitement and truths revealed, but they all lead the way to a HEA that is sure to make you wish for your own pair of dragons. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
I liked the story but felt that some was rushed especially how fast the relationships sped through. Other then that it was a good quick read.
A great beginning and interesting, original, and erotic, sci-fi series. Viola had nothing left to keep her on earth. And the lure of money that she desperately needed made her decision easy. So, off on a spaceship to be a lab rat for aliens with the promise of being home in six months. Nothing ever seems to go as planned. Crash landed on what is known as the prison planet then rescued by two very hot aliens. She needs help to save the others, but can she trust them. Arax and Nyx have been on the prison planet for a long time, no way to get off, and no females. Then their mate lands right in their lap. This book was very exciting, a lot of secrets, and quite a few back stories in the book. I’m sure the answers will come with the continuation of the series, but this book can be read alone. I love the happily ever after.
MFM, Love for an alien dragon, on another planet!
This is cracking good start to a series, about another planet (or two) with another life form and their genetics experiments. Viola is alone and in debt at home, volunteers for an interplanetary cooperation which gets hijacked, impossibly falls in love with a pair of aliens in the space of a fortnight, has mind-blowing sex, and is the cause of a physiological change in them as and also herself, which had long been thought impossible. Everything that happens seems impossible, or highly unlikely, and so much happens all at once. There’s plot and counter plot, with the promise of a lot more to come.
This book was super awesome from the first chapter I was hooked into the story plot. I love the strong female characters and the prison planet was written in great detail love the love scene and I couldn’t put the book down.
I was hooked from the start, and couldn’t put it down, this book had everything I was looking for, hot aliens, conspiracy theories, and happy ever after, what more could I want? Well book 2 for a start.
Draekon Mate (Exiled To The Prison Planet, #1) by Lee Savino and Lili Zander is a good read. A very interesting storyline, complex characters and a heavy dose of steam make this paranormal romance engaging and entertaining. This is a very solid start to this series and it takes very little time until you are emotionally involved. My heart bled for Viola. Arax and Nyx are the sexy dragon shifter Draekons that want her for their mate. Can this triad find their HEA? Read this fun & sexy read to see for yourself.
Is a snappy tale about a guy that had an image that had to be changed, a snarky girl who didn’t care about him, a contract between them, discovering they are mates, a kidnapping, a dragon fight and an HEA all wrapped up in this story–WOW.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This series hits the spot when there is nothing to do
Love the Draekon world. Good plot and wants more.
fun read
While this story did have a few errors, it was not to the point of distracting from the story.
It is a fast paced, easy read that is an amazing story that transports you to another that is completely out there. The author did have some super weird twisted sense of humor when describing the plants and animals on her world.
I have to say that this author has me hooked and I will be purchasing the other books to hear the rest of this story.
When Viola Lewis, whose mother left when she was ten and her father died of leukemia two months before the cure, found out the US Governmant and the Zorhan Empire were paying volunteers to travel to Zoraht as part of a scientific study to find a cure for a disease overtaking their planet, she immediately volunteered. Now her and nine other women were aboard a space craft under contract for six months.
According to the sealed records of the ThoughtVaults, twelve hundred years ago, the scientists created a race of soldiers called Draekons who could turn into beasts at will. These beast-men conquered the stars and expanded the Zoraht Empire, but over time, they rebelled against their masters and sought freedom from a life of war. Terrified at the thought of their creations running amok, the Zorahn scientists sought to kill the Draekons, but they were only partially successful. They couldn’t completely wipe out the Draekon gene. It manifests itself in the general population and seems resistant to eradication. Since the scientists can’t destroy it, they’ve opted for the next best thing. They round up anyone who possesses the Draekon mutation, and they exile them on a prison planet. The Draekon mutation does not care for the blood status of its victims. Highborn or Lowborn, no one is immune, as was proven when Arax, the First born of Zoraht, was exiled with the others.
Nyx and Arax had spent sixty season on the planet without seeing anyone from the previous four groups of exiled sent ahead of them. Survival was paramount. The only thing they could do was hunt and gather enough food from the lowlands and retrieve it to the highlands before the rainy season. Until the day came they saw the air aflame and something crashed about a day’s journey away. Curiosity won out, they had to go investigate.
This has been a wonderful, fantastical alien story with just enough intrigue and sex to keep things interesting. The characters are fully developed and flow into the storyline adding their colorful personalities. What a great, racy adventure.
I love this series and i would definitely recommend it.
This is the first that I have read of either Lee Savino and Lili Zander. I thoroughly enjoyed reading Draekon Mate: Exiled to the Prison Planet #1. A standalone within a series
I heard about Lee Savino from another group that I am in and she had quite a fan. So, I decided I would read something written by this author. I love these Space Sci-Fi romances and this was the reason I decided to read this book and series.
Draekon Mate is a short book. I read it in 3-4 hours. This is a MFM ménage and insta-love romance.
This is Viola, Nyx, and Arax’s story. Viola is on a spaceship bound for the planet where The Zorahn wanted women and they would pay a lot of money to for a “super-secret science experiment”. The spaceship crashes on a prison planet. On the planet are exiled Zorahn’s. Nyx and Arax specifically are there and they transform into fire breathing dragons and rescue Viola from a very bad situation.
I enjoyed this story and I am getting ready to read book 2 Draekon #2.
What is not to like about this book. It has Dragons and is written by two authors who love writing about a menage.
This is the first book in a new series and it is off to a great start. It has good worldbuilding and i loved the popular culture references. I loved the interaction between Arax and Nyx. The sex scenes were hot and did I mention it has dragons. Viola makes a great heroine. This a fun, sexy read. Looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
