This is book five, but the action just keeps ramping up. The war has taken a toll, missing family, death of friends and allies and love lost or put on hold. This is the story of second chances at love and the search for loved ones.
I love the action that happens that keeps you turning page after page. Small cliffhangers that demand you have the time to keep reading at all costs.
I cannot wait to continue the saga as I have to know……. perfectly written to enjoy and leaves you begging for the next book as soon as possible
This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Dracones Rogue by Sheri-Lynn Marean is Book 5 in the Dark Dragons series. This is Soroyan and Raven’s story. I so love this series! First because, well… Dragons. But honestly, there is so much to get into in this series. There is action, adventure, movement through other worlds, romance, sexy shifters, mean bad guys, witches, angels and dragons! This series is a well thought out and executed romp. The spectacular world building drags you through portals that will have you looking around yourself to make sure you haven’t actually ported to another world. The characters are so well written that they come alive. I have laughed, cried, been shocked and experienced an emotional rollercoaster that I want to continue to experience. This set of books are made to be read in order and should be experienced in that order. You’ll get the situations that unfold from varying perspectives that make you appreciate the stories that much more. If you love Patricia Brigg’s Mercyverse, you must read Dracones!
This honest and voluntary review was made possible by reading an advance copy.
Sheri-Lynn Marean is one of my favorite authors in the PNR genre, and anyone reading this series will quickly understand why! Her stories have such depth, and inspire emotions from all ends of the spectrum.
I would never have expected a pairing between Soroyan and Raven, but I was drawn into their story from beginning to end.
I highly recommend you read this book and the entire series. You’ll be glad you did.
We need a new/higher rating scale. This one took off-the-charts to new meaning. This one was the more that would be expected of a growing series. It delivered the characters, the plot, the intrigue, the paranormal/supernatural world, action, drama, adventure.
These two characters (Raven & Soroyan) provides that additional layer that sets this addition to the series apart. I feel like a new level has been reached. We still have a chance to see our previous characters. Things all find a way to tie in to each other.
I would not call this a series that you could just jump right in on the first book you see. I found that as each book was released the love grows more and more. I do recommend reading Dracones Rogue, but I suggest that you start at the beginning and get the full affect of it all.
What an amazing addition to the Dracones series. Soroyan has been my favorite since book 1. Now, with the addition of Raven and this look-behind-the-curtain of my favorite Wolf his place as number one is set. Soroyan and Raven are the perfect counterparts for one another. I can’t say too much without giving things away but, I can tell you that this story is heart-wrenching and up-lifting all at once. I love being able to catch up with past characters and learn interesting new facts about some of them. I also love the addition of Raven and a few of the other new characters to the Dracones World. Raven is amazing and with Soroyan being one of my all time favorite characters they are an amazing couple that I can’t wait to hear more about. I can’t wait to see what Sheri-Lynn Marean brings us next.
Wow! “Dracones Rogue” is fan-freaking-tastic! Ms. Marean knows how to raise the bar on every new book she pens! Straight out of the gate & beyond the winning horn blast, this fast paced PNR action adventure romantic suspense must read will take you on an emotional roller-coaster ride you won’t forget! … Another unique storyline, great attention-to-detail & always well defined characters that are relatable, and will engage all readers! … I was blown away and glued to my seat turning pages, not wanting to put it down! I highly recommend this to all adult 18+ fans of fiction and all of the books by this author!
It was a riveting, thrilling book. I have enjoyed this one the most. It was the romantic, emotional love book so far by a mile. It’s good to see a author write a book about characters who get second chances at love, life, and making amends with family. With each book comes new and exciting characters to get to know and read their story.
“AGAIN, NOT THE END”. Dracones Rogue, book 5…for thousand yrs. evil Druids called The Ilyium, have helped bring evil and destruction to the different realms. It must all be stopped!!! Okami wolf enforcer, Soroyan, has mourned his mate and young for four hundred yrs. His pack has joined forces with the Dracones. Supernaturals, humans, too. They continue to grow. With members, capabilties. As a group. As a family. Newcomer, Raven is avenging her own losses. Is she the devil, an angel, a dragon?!? Sherri-Lynn Marean’s Dracones series is written with a plethora of emotions. Page turning action. Suspence. Unpredictable twists and turns. Romance. Some new, some HEA, some not. Some develop throughout the series. Revolving cast, new and reoccurring along the way. Reader shares with characters…depths of loss, fear, suffering, caring, friendship, need, love. Moments of pain, rejoice, celebrations. Each book contains enough backstory to be a standalone BUT as a series there is a building relationship for readers. Each book ending leads to future books. I received this book as an ARC. I am voluntarily posting this review.
