Doctor by day.
Vigilante by night.
Robert lives a double life in New York City. He spends his days treating patients at the St. Jude’s Hospital ER and his nights going after the psychopaths who wrong them: the child molesters, wife beaters, and rapists. But when the fiery, beautiful new social worker discovers his secret identity and their love affair takes off, Robert is forced to face some hard … hard questions:
Do the ends justify the means?
After years of hunting down psychopaths, is Robert turning into one himself?
An action thriller with strong, distinct characters, filled with suspense and surprise, Dr. Vigilante is also a love story unfolding amid the turmoil and drama of a busy ER.

It was an interesting book.
Working in the medical field, I can understand the vigilante aspect and could almost see it come true in today’s world. This book was original in it’s thought provoking way and outcomes.
Loved this trilogy
Loved this book. Waiting on #2
Highly recommended!
I enjoyed these books. It is an easy read and entertaining but predictable to me.
A pretty good / OK read. At about 90% I’d had enough though. Delete…
I enjoyed the concept, do onto the bad guy as they did to others.
would like to read more of the same genre. kept my attention
Well written – based around a rather unlikely character. A lot of violence but you can’t see it so it’s not so bad! It’s an interesting twist to most stories I’ve read. Quite entertaining.
very engaging writing style
U really liked, although I felt bad because I was rooting for Dr. Vigilante. It was a great read!
As a retired physician, I found this to be quite true-to-life with regards to patient issues. The physician’s feelings of impotence to ease patient suffering were rendered well. It seemed a bit of a stretch to believe a doctor would go so far to help, but it’s a novel, right? I did enjoy it.
Excellent read. A good page-turner.
I liked it.
This book raises moral dilemma then ignores it. Action is fine but this is almost sadistic in its gory details. And each book in series (I read thinking they would get better) is same.
I liked the concept
Couldn’t put it down! One of those!
It was a page turner lots of suspense
Good read
THis should be required reading for everyone, if for no other reason than the stunning and appalling statistics provided on rape, abuse and trafficking preceding each section. It is difficult not to look for vigilantes to deal out payback for some of the millions of lives lost or emotionally destroyed in our violent society. But also, good and searching consequences are explored. Very absorbing, and current, and shows how our collective apathy feeds the monsters among us.
