I want to pretend to be his fiancee.

Ellis is an intern that is all about work and no play. She doesn’t realize until one of her supervisors mentions it that everyone knows that she’s a virgin. When one of the doctors supervising her training suggests that she have a night out for fun and sex she’s stunned. However when she leaves for the night she ends up taking the advice and hooking up with a stranger she meets during an accident near the hospital. Rainier is a neurosurgeon and very good in his field. he is just back from being out of town and when he sees Ellis he knows that he wants her. They spend an amazing night together and he is gone before she wakes. Yet neither counted on running into each other at the hospital the following day. What will Ellis do about hooking up with Rainier? Can Rainier move on without Ellis?
This is an amazing story once I started it I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any book lover.

I gave this book 4 stars
I really enjoyed this romance book by Ashley Price.
It was an emotional story in-between Rainier and Ellis.
He is a doctor, and she is an intern in the same hospital he works at.
Their banter was funny, but it also had it’s serious moments.
There was an unexpected family twist that I didn’t see coming.
I would have liked an epilogue with how their life finally turned off.
But overall it was a great romantic novel.
Dr. Knight by Ashlee Price is a Billionaire Holiday Romance. In this story, a virgin intern female doctor named Dr. Ellis Smithson is told to go get laid by her supervising doctor, Dr. Amelia Carter on the afternoon of Thanksgiving. As she leaves the hospital and is walking past a group of carolers she runs into the most amazingly hot man she has ever seen. Then to her surprise her invites her to eat Thanksgiving dinner with him. This is the beginning of uniquely amazing love story with lots of surprise twists and turns. This romantic read is perfect for any romance lover and like a Hallmark channel Christmas movie you will not be able to stop reading until you get to the happy ever after ending. Dr. Knight is a sweetly sensual and suspense filled romance.
A beautiful enjoyable well written unexpected romance. This engaging storyline is a romantic, heartbreaking, emotional with drama, and ups ad downs . The characters are realistic and well developed with sizzling hot chemisty keeping me turning page after page to an incredible ARC that I voluntarily read and reviewed.
Emotionally thrilling, sexy, fun, action packed and engaging holiday adventure filled with interesting charters, witty banter and undeniable passion…. a great read from beginning to end.
This is an enjoyable hoilday read and I truly enjoyed the characters. The story is instersting, well written and a good storyline. It is a page turner and easy to read.

I Loved The 1st Half Which Focuses On The Relationship. It Could Be Separated Into Two Different Stories, But It Works.
Ellis Smithson, twenty-eight, is an intern at Knight Medical Center in Chicago. In her three short months there, she has worked hard to earn the respect of the attending physicians, residents, and fellow interns. She is honest, hard-working, kind but serious, and treats her patients like family. Dr. Carver takes note of her workaholic tendencies and urges her to go out and live a little – have an evening of drinks, dancing, and a man. Ellis doesn’t intend to follow her doctor’s orders until she crosses paths on her way home with a handsome stranger who urges her join him for dinner. Caught up in the moment, Ellis follows doctor orders and invites Rainier home.
Dr. Rainier Knight, sought-after neurosurgeon and owner of Knight Medical Center’s Chicago branch, went to MIT to study computers but ended up being inspired to follow in his parents’ footsteps and pursue a career in medicine. Chicago is his home base, but he travels across the country to take on complicated cases. He returns home after three months away and comes across a woman that captures his attention. It has been months since he has been with a woman, and he hasn’t wanted a woman so much since – ever. He is hooked on Ellis. Her childlike innocence. Her honesty. How she helped a woman on the street in need. He seduces her, then leaves without a goodbye. He doesn’t do relationships. He is just as surprised as she is when they run into one another hours later in the hospital. He chooses the protect them both from discovery, but handles it poorly and earns her ire.
Rainier and Ellis manage to keep their secret until he finally gets over his instinct to push her away. But when they are discovered, the reality of their situation causes problems, particularly for Ellis. Amidst this, Ellis receives some shocking information about her family history that she needs to investigate, and Dr. Knight just so happens to be in a position to help.
The first and second halves of the book are entirely different. I loved the first half which focuses on the developing relationship. It feels very real. The second half is less realistic. It depends upon the unlikely coincidence that Rainier knew both Ellis’s father and her mother’s family, and both connections are quite unusual. The story becomes less about personal journeys and their love story, and it is instead plot-driven. This would be fine but for the fact that there are gaps in the story that leave the reader wondering how the relationship is progressing with so much unaccounted for time available for the couple to spend together.
Rainier and Ellis’s love story is steam-filled with an undeniable chemistry. Their relationship is taboo in the workplace, but Rainier has a little flexibility as the owner of the hospital. There is a fake engagement component to the story, but it is only incidental and the relationship is not based upon it. The couple earns a short but sweet HEA.
This book is well-written and an easy read. The POV alternates between Ellis and Rainier. The plot is decently developed but most action takes place in the last half of the book. The characters are nicely developed. Rainier and Ellis are both easy to love. This book could easily have been separated and expanded into two separate stories, but it works as is. I rate this book four stars.

Will Rainier be Ellis’ knight in shining armor
Ashlee is one of my top 10 authors because I love the push and pull between characters in her romances! Ellis is working on her residency where she is told by one of the doctors to live a little. Ellis meets Rainier at a Holiday concert when one of the chorus members falls and hurts herself. They become acquainted over dinner, things are complicated and afterwards Ellis asks Rainier to come to her apartment. At the hospital, Rainier and Ellis discover their boss and intern relationship complicates things. They both admit to doing something they shouldn’t have but that is easier said then done. Add in some incredible plot twists: a hidden adoption, a holiday gathering with a wealthy family…, and things get pretty complicated. You will not put the book down until you turn the last page!
