Love JA Jance books.
Any book by J. A. Janice (aka Judith) is a must read. She writes a couple different series and the are all wonderful!!
Really liked all the backstory revealed in this book. I really gave the characters life. Loved following the story line: small town female pregnant police chief sets out to solve several murders. Her department is made up of real life characters who are very loyal to their chief. Good story.
Slow start. Novel picked up pace middle to end. I enjoyed Brady as a character. Will read more novels in series.
Downfall, #17, in the Joanna Brady series. A very pregnant Sheriff Brady deals with crime and her tragedy at home. I always enjoy time with the Sheriff’s family and friends , and this one was especially well done.
GREAT!!! Love all of J A Jance’s books & this is no exception.. Especially like the Joanna Brady series.
The Joanna Brady series always satisfies.
I read J.A.Jance books; all her stories, all J.A. Jance series are good. Please more, J.A. Jance. Thank you. This story was a sad beginning story.
Janice is a great storyteller. Characters are realistic and plot is always interesting. Hard to put down books.
First time reader of Jance and really enjoyed the strength of Brady. The writing kept me involved and interested
Always enjoy Jance’s books. From Beaumont, to Reynolds and Brady characters. I’ve read these series for years. This one gave enough ‘mystery’ as to the culprit that kept you guessing right up to the end. Only drawback of this paperback is that it had a novella at the end which should have been read before the actual book. The book gives big spoilers to the novella.
Too long to really be engaging.
J A Jance never disappoints! Excellent character development, plots are interesting and innovative plus a little Arizona info makes her books even more intriguing
It was another very good story kept you wanting to keep on reading, in Brady series, also like the Detective in Seattle very much
I just love all of JA Jance’s running characters. I’m playing catch-up and this one got me caught up with the inimitable Joanna Brady, can’t wait for the next one.
I like to read books in order in a series, but I read this first. Now I want to go back and read the rest from the beginning. Wonderful writer. Had me on the edge of my seat towards the end.
I have read most of J.A. Jance’s books & find them all entertaining & keep you up all night to arrive at the end. My husband & I did missionary work at Bisbee, AZ so it’s fun to read of places in her books that occur in Bisbee. Fun to visualize just where her characters left their tracks.
I love all of J.A. Jance books. They keep you coming back for more. I think I read each one in 2 days.
I like this series and have read most of the titles in the series.
Highly recommend J. A. Jances Joanna Brady series of books. Thought provoking, entertaining, and a good read.
