Welcome to Shadow Valley where the Dirty Angels MC rules. Get ready to get Down & Dirty because this is Dawg’s story…She has a secret. But little does she know, so does he.With a past he’s not proud of and a secret only recently discovered, Dawg’s life is about to change when a kindergarten teacher walks into Heaven’s Angels Gentlemen’s Club, a DAMC business he’s run for the past fifteen … he’s run for the past fifteen years. With no experience, her dancing sucks but he can’t deny the woman’s determination to get the job and, against his better judgement, hires her anyway. While her girl-next-door looks may be good for business, he’s not ready for someone like Emma to walk into his life.
Emma’s desperate. She not only needs a lot of cash, but needs it quickly. Recently unemployed and with nowhere else to turn, she takes a drastic step by auditioning at Dawg’s club. When he finds out her secret, he’s willing to go above and beyond to help her. However, Emma has no idea how a bearded, tattooed biker and strip club manager can help when law enforcement can’t.
Coming from two different worlds, Dawg’s life needs to change drastically to make things work, but is he willing to give up almost everything he’s ever known for Emma?
Note: This book can be read as a standalone. It includes lots of steamy scenes, biker slang, cursing, some violence and, of course, an HEA. If you like alpha males who like to take charge, this book is for you.

This book is so much more then an MC read. It has heart, sweetness, passion, a bit of violence and many, many emotions. This is the story of Dawg and Emma.
Having met Dawg in past stories I thought I had a read on who he is and what he was about; but I was sorely mistaking! He is so much more, has deeper thoughts, deeper feelings then I would have guessed. He hides his true self well. In this story he us the ultimate alpha, possessive and protective, he comes across gruff and uncaring but not towards Emma, not for his MC.
Emma, on the other hand, is brilliant, bold, captivating and a great match for Dawg. She is hiding heartbreaking secrets, things that she is trying to out run. She is a teacher in desperate need of money, so she auditions for Dawg at his strip club. Unfortunately, she is an awful dancer, but Dawg still helps her out, there is just something about her that draws him in, he can’t say no.
The plot of the story is well written and addictive. I could not put it down and was breathless to know what happened next. There is nothing I can say to express how much I enjoyed this book, so I will say this…
Full of emotions, and a few cry worthy scenes, this book is the heart of this series and will make any reader fall for Dawg and Emma. With the perfect balance of humor and heartbreak, this MC romance will become a favorite for all. I received an ARC and I am leaving an honest review.
Dawg doesn’t have a plan for his life. He manages the Heaven’s Angels strip club for the MC, living above it and hooking up with women. That all changes when a woman dressed like a Sunday school teacher comes to audition. Emma has nowhere left to turn. In desperate need of funds, she begs for a chance. Dawg gives in against his better judgement and figures that decision will come back and bite him. Emma never expected a big tattooed biker would be her hero and Dawg never expected a tiny little woman would turn around and save him.
It is no secret that I have been a fan of the Dirty Angels MC from the beginning. Each book has gotten better and that is saying something because they rocked right from the start. Dawg however, has leaped to first place in my heart! His story, his heart, his emotions just hit me right in the chest. Emma is such a sweetie and together they are perfection. Ten stars for this amazing, emotional, sexy tale and the fabulous Jeanne St James!
This book went beyond my expectations. I like seeing the softer side of these guys. Dawg was amazing and hot! I wasn’t expecting him to fall for someone like Emma. I also wasn’t expecting to ever see this side of one of the MC guys. It was nice for a change. I like that there as a step back from the drama between the Warriors and we got some real one on one time with Dawg and Emma. The sisterhood is the best. I love all these female characters. Definitely wasnt let down wit this one. Plus Dawg is a major alpha like all the guys and there were some really STEAMY moments in this one. The ending….I don’t want to spoil anything but I’m so glad it ended like it did!!
Plus I love the snippets of Diesel. They are hysterical. He is such a caveman and Jewel is the best at managing him.
Loved this book. It’s definitely my favorite book of the series. Dawg and Emma will light up your kindle. Jeanne St. James is easily becoming one of my favorites. This book is passionate, sexy, sensual, mysteriously full of secrets, yet emotional also. It drew me in from the beginning to the end. It’s told in different povs, no cheating, no cliffhanger, and a hea. I highly recommend this book
I loved this book so much. Dawg and Emma’s book is a shining jewel in this series. The powerfully engaging storyline offers a different formula and predominately focuses on the growing relationship between these characters without a lot of MC Club drama. These two characters are so different and yet they fit together seamlessly. This is such a wonderful romance. It offers readers plenty of humor, sweetness, passion, an intense attraction and complex emotions. Peeling away all the outer layers of these characters to expose their true selves, while watching these two slowly grow closer made for an exceptional reading experience.
fter reading the story of Emma and Dawg I think I have my new favorite among DAMC men.
Dawg was more emotional than the rest of the guys in the club and was really easy to love. I liked his moral compass, the way he conducted his strip-club business. He was a caring boss and took good care of his strippers, never saw them as mere objects – as opposed to other guys. He saw all the reasons why they decided to do this job, treated them without judgement and with respect.
I liked Emma too. She had a quiet but strong presence. With her determination she was a good example and influence to Dawg. She didn’t waste her breath to argue or whining or bitching. She showed her strength rather quietly, always voicing her concerns in a calm and rational manner, letting Dawg in on how she feels and then work something out together. This quiet strenght made Dawg reconsider his ways, teaching him to ask and coax instead of barking orders.
I liked that they realised their feelings pretty early on and doing so gave them enough time to work towards a future that suits them both. I liked the considerations and actions Dawg had taken to be with the woman he loved.
All in all it was a great read, again.
Another fan-freaking-tastic book in this fabulous series! Dawg and Emma were great. Tons of chemistry, humor, some drama, and of course hot, steamy scenes. A must read!
Holy fudge. !.
I loved Dawg so much , a big scary looking biker with a heart of gold .
When he loves a woman who goes to the ends of the earth to give her what she wants and what she needs and that is exactly what he did for Emma. A beautiful woman who had her whole world ripped from under her who would do anything to get her daughter back who was taken from her and that included stripping to pay for her private detective and Lawyers. Even though she can’t dance or strip to save her self . Dawg knew it , she knew it yet there was a pull there that he couldnt explain and that scared the shit out of him. But he couldn’t let her go , wouldn’t let her go. Dawg had his club his brother’s and Heaven’s Angels thats all he thought he needed but when Emma came barreling into his life she made him feel things he never thought possible. Fate has a funny way of coming in and turning your life upside down but it was the shake up that Dawg needed and he accepted his fate with open arms .
I love this series so much every character has flaws you can’t help love. The bossy alpha men are to die for and their women you just want to be just like them , strong, independent ,capable and beautiful.
Emma begs for an audition in Dawg’s club. Dawg knows right away that it will never work, Emma is too pure and innocent for it. He can’t seem to let her go though. Emma needs cash and this is her last resort. She begs Dawg to give her a chance. They have incredible heat and passion right from the start. They exploded off the pages. The secrets they keep are so very close together and once brought to light, they could end up helping each other. I loved the passion, the tension and all the other emotions brought up in Dawg and Emma’s story. I think Dawg has taken too spot in my heart for all Down and Dirty men!! Can’t wait for the next one!!!
I loved Dawg! He may be my favorite so far in this series. The storyline was great and I loved the characters! Also, I love the fact that we continue to learn more about and see more of the characters from the past books in the series. I have loved every character in this series so far and I’m sure I will continue to love the new ones! I can’t wait for the next book!
