Welcome to Shadow Valley where the Dirty Angels MC rules. Get ready to get Down & Dirty because this is Crow’s story… She not only needs him to cover up a scar created by a rival MC but is looking for a hero to help her heal and officially move on from a tragic incident. One that dragged her into the darkness against her will and extinguished her light for years. While willing to help, he’s not sure he can be everything she needs him to be. How can he help her when he hasn’t even faced the demons that haunt his own past?
Six years ago, Jazz left Shadow Valley when a life-altering assault changed her outlook on the world—and men—forever. Now she’s back to deal with the scars, both physical and mental, left behind. While hoping Crow will help her with both, she’s afraid he won’t be willing. Crow always considered her too young, now she’s worried he only sees her as broken. However, Jazz knows there’s no one better than the long-time DAMC member to help her move on. Not only determined for her past to stop controlling her future, she needs to replace those memories with something better, while knocking down the barriers holding her back.
But will their age difference be the biggest obstacle of them all?
Note: While this book can be read as a standalone, because of storylines that span the series, it’s best to read them in order. It includes lots of steamy scenes, biker slang, cursing, some violence and, of course, an HEA. If you like alpha males who like to take charge, this book is for you.

A great addition to the Dirty Angels MC series. I was pulled into the story and kept reading until it was finished. A very good read.
This book was everything I had hoped for and more. I loved Crow! He’s my favorite DAMC member. He’s such a caring guy. I loved how he tried to help Jasmine, even though he struggled with his own demons.
Jasmine didn’t know how to find her way back to herself but turned to Crow for help to hide the reminder of her traumatic past.
Loved this book. Loved their journey. Hate that this is the last book of this series!!!
I think I have been waiting for this story since Diesel’s book! This book was everything I had hoped for and more. I love Crow, he has to be one of my favorite DAMC members! I adored how he wanted to be there to help Jasmine even though he was struggling with his own demons. Jazz suffered through the horrific things that life had to give her and emerged like a Phoenix from the ashes. She may have been down for awhile, hiding from herself and the world, but there is no hiding how strong a DAMC woman really is. Crow’s patience and understanding really allows her to shine bright which brings Crow out of his very own ashes!
5 Crow & Jazz Stars
Crow is the 10th book in the Dirty Angels M.C. Series by Jeanne St. James. Where do I even start with this book? It was definitely my favourite book in the series. The pain and the heartache throughout this book was enormous. If you have read the previous books in this series you will have read about both Crow and Jazz, you will also know they both have a painful past and story to tell.
This book was so well written and gave me all the feels. Two broke souls that find each other, but can Crow be the man to heal Jazz’s scars.
This is the final book in the Dirty Angels MC series for the moment. But I will be straight onto the Shadows Security series so still loads to read and love. One thing that really made this series great for me was the wonderful world of characters that St. James created throughout the series. It made these books so great for me and I hope to hear more about them through more of Jeanne St James’ books in the future.
Awesome. I love everything about these stories
5 star review of Down & Dirty: Crow Dirty Angels MC # 10 by Jeanne St James
Audio Review
I have been waiting for what seems forever for Crow’s story in audio but boy was it worth the wait. From start to finish Jeanne St James and the narrators Joe Arden & Ava Lucas drew me in and kept captivated with their narration which was spot on and really brought this story to life for me.
I knew going in that this is the final book in the Dirty Angels MC series and I was excited and yet sad to listen to Crow and Jazz’s story with this in mind. I love Ms. St James’s writing, she packs such a punch into her characters and her stories. Raw and gritty there is something about this series that truly captivated me. Thank you Ms. St James and all the talented narrators for a wonderful series.
Can Crow be the man that Jazz needs so desperately to bring her back to life, to help her finally heal, both physically and mentally, or will the 12 year age gap mean he walks away from their chance of happiness?
This is an emotional story as Crow, the tattoo artist of the club and Jazz the woman who was so badly hurt and traumatized in the beginning of the series finally come together. It was a fitting story for Crow and Jazz and I was riveted to it, listening well into the night. In my opinion it was also a great way to close out the series.
Down & Dirty: Crow
Dirty Angels MC, Book 10
By: Jeanne St. James
Narrated by: Joe Arden, Ava Lucas
I cannot believe that this series has reached it’s end! It’s one of the best I have listened to, each story intertwined with characters, having it’s own original plot. We end with Crow. He has been in so many of the books, as he is the inkslayer of the DAMC. When Jasmine comes back to town looking for a tattoo, he is the only one that can give her what she is looking for. We have met Jasmine before in Hawk’s book, and her tragedy had her mending for several years, but now she is looking to begin a new chapter of her life, and she has a plan that includes Crow. With 12 years between them though, and a history that leaves them both with needed healing, will these two ever get together? Again Jeanne St James has captured my heart with her hero. Each one holds a special place for me, and Crow’s tenderness and protectiveness burrowed his way right into me. But while I love Crow to death, the character of Jasmine has captured my full attention. What a life this girl has had, with tragedy endured, she rises above and becomes a full fledged fighter, gathering her wits and coming back to life. And the intermixing of all my favorites coming in and making me feel like I have come home. This series has been an amazing journey, and I am so glad I have taken it!
Once again, St James has found the essence of each character with a chosen voice. Joe Arden is Crow through and through. He breathes life into the character, with the full hesitancy Crow projects, yet throws that overwhelming protective love vibe in. He is amazing. Ava Lucas, who has nailed every female in this series, with a different voice and personality gives Jasmine the initiative to start her life with inflections and emotions with her performance. What a way to end it all! Loved the series, and every one of the 10 narration teams.

Wow! I’ve waited through all the books to find out who Crow claims as his ol’lady. Loved that Jazz was it. After all she had gone through, she deserves a great love. This club was a fantastic ride. I laughed, cried and enjoyed it all so much. Crow and Jazz are the perfect end of telling the DAMC tale. Looking forward to the cameos the DAMC will have in the next series
Loved it. Crow and Jazz were perfect together. He was so patient (and stubborn) and perfect to help her heal from her past. I was so glad she came back. I just loved the way the ol’ ladies all rallied and the sense of family in this one. A great edition to this series.
I’m so sad this is the last in the series. I could have read so many more of the club. I would have loved to see Kelsea’s story. I’m hoping she’ll pop up in one of the spinoffs somewhere. Loved this whole series.
Saved the best for last and brought back someone who was greatly missed. I am saddened to see this series end. Crow is the silent warrior who will go to battle for his brethren and the woman who captures his heart. He is a sensitive soul and has had a way with the women of the DAMC. From the time she was eighteen, Jazz caught his eye and he fell hard. However, one fateful day, Jazz’s life was irrevocably changed and it took her away from her family and him. Fast forward six years, Jazz has returned. She needs to deal with the past and wants to enlist Crow’s help. Going against his better judgement, as he has never forgotten his feeling towards Jazz, Crow agrees to do whatever she needs. The more time they spend together, the harder they fall for each other but there is a twelve-year age difference between them. Will Crow let the age difference hinder his relationship with Jazz? Can Jazz get Crow to see that she belongs with him? I cannot say enough about this book! The emotions that are evoked as each page is turned is like being on a rollercoaster heading downward and picking up speed. These entrancing will have any reader enthralled as the love between Crow and Jazz is all encompassing. As the last page ends, there is a new series beginning with Mercy, one of the men who works for Diesel and I look forward to reading his story.
I received an advanced copy from the author for my honest review. In saying that I say this…..if you have not read the rest of or at least not most of the books in the series (especially Hawk) I recommend that you not read this book. This book is an AMAZING book, but by not knowing the history of not only Crow and Jazz, but also the whole Dirty Angels MC you are cheating yourself out an amazing journey of tears, anger, laughter, fighting, pain, but most of all love and family who no matter what have each others back. Seeing how each character grows (sometimes LOL) and gets to where and who they are now and the fears they have faced past and present to keep the ones they love safe. Crow and Jazz have had a long journey and he must face his past to be able to help Jazz find the strength he knows is still inside her.
It is quite sad that Crow is the last book in the series. Jeanne is an amazing writer and very quickly after you start reading one of her books…..the characters aren’t characters anymore they are people that you know and can’t wait to see again. You find yourself laughing with and at them, rolling your eyes at their antics and even wanting to smack them up side the head when they do something stupid (D) LOL. THANK YOU JEANNE for an AMAZING series!!!!!
DAFFDA!!!
OMG I am so sad that the series is over but I have been waiting for this story and could not have been more excited to read this. Such a sad begining to an amazing ending book. Great read as usual from St James.
Jazz has a painful past that she hasn’t healed from and she has returned to Shadow Valley hoping that Crow will help her with two requests to try and move forward with her life.
Crow has always had feelings for Jazz but felt she deserved better than him. He is determined to help her find the woman she was but will he be able to help her heal and what happens when it is time for her to leave?
This is an emotional story about healing and new beginnings that will break your heart and put it back together. Jazz is so much stronger than she realizes and Crow is enough to make you swoon.
Down & Dirty: Crow is one of my favorite books in this series! Ok, ok, I know I say it for every DAMC book this author has written, but it’s true. This series is fantastic!! From the first page until the last Crow and Jazz’s story held my attention, pulled me in and left me breathless. If you have read one or all of the books in this series then you know what I mean when I say I am going to miss the guys and gals from DAMC. I loved getting to go on this beautiful, gripping journey with this amazing author. Fantastic story line, tough alpha males with heart, strong, beautiful women and a great ending to the DAMC series.
This is an amazing series. I’m so sorry to see it end with Crow but what an amazing book to end with. Crow and Jazz are made for each other, beautiful, romantic and perfect together. Jazz has been through Hell and is making her way back to herself and back home to her DAMC family, specifically Crow, who she has had feeling for for a long time. Unknown to her, Crow has wanted her too.
Crow’s patience and understanding and gentleness with Jazz was beautiful.
We also get to catch up with our other favorites (the Sisterhood get together was awesome) and for all us addicts, we also get Deisel time!
get this book today! LOVED IT!!!!
Crow has been a much anticipated book sense he first appeared in the DAMC books. I was not disappointed at all I was excited when I saw the characters return to Shadow Valley. Grand finale Crow was worth waiting for.
Crow never thought she would just show up in his shop, not after six years. But here she is and she needs him. Jazz needs his help in covering the scars of her past and breaking through the fears. Crow knows she is too young and just needs help to get back to where she was before her life was destroyed. Jazz has loved Crow too long and has to seize her chance at being in his arms even if it means that she has to walk away in the end. Can family and love heal the broken?
Coming to the end of the DAMC is like saying goodbye to family. Having lived with these characters and coming to know them so well, it was hard to start Crow. I have looked forward to his story forever, a character that has attracted and mystified from the beginning. Crow keeps so much hidden and doesn’t even realize that he is lonely. Jazz coming back to Shadow Valley was a shock and I am so glad she got strong enough to get her life back. To take the chance that Crow would turn her down, not to mention everything she went through shows how strong she really is. These two grow so close so fast, they just are perfect for each other. I don’t think I am going to be able to adequately explain how much Crow and Jazz surpassed my hopes for their story. After all the heartache and pain, they are both finally home. Jeanne St James did a phenomenal job on their story and wrapping up the DAMC. Ten stars for Down & Dirty: Crow!
I enjoyed Crow, but I wanted more. I thought he would be more complex with his mysterious past. I enjoyed Jaz coming into her own. I did think Diesel would be more involved in the healing for both of them. While this was good, I am looking for more in my books as of late. Crow delivers but left me wanting more.
Love! It was so hard waiting for Crow and Jazz but it was worth it! I’m so sad to see DAMC coming to an end but looking forward to the next series by Jeanne St James.
I love this author’s writting, and I was looking forward to this book. Let me tell you she did not disappoint. Crow has been one of my favorite people in the series, so when Jazz comes back and we finally get her story, I was ecstatic that she was with Crow. To see how she grew and overcame such tragedy was amazing. I cried and laughed and had so many emotions during this book. It was beautifully written. She captured so many emotion amd wrote such amazing scenes that you can’t help but fall in love with their story. To say I’m truly sad this series is ending is an understatement, it will always be one of my favorites. I look forward to what she has next for us.
