The #1 New York Times bestselling and Edgar Award winning authors are back with an electrifying new novel that will leave your heart racing. Kendra Michaels, formerly blind and now a hired gun for law enforcement agencies who relies on her razor-sharp powers of observation, is reluctant to help the FBI with the most recent case they’ve brought to her. But then she hears the details: the body was … the details: the body was found just blocks away from Kendra’s condo. The young woman was carrying an envelope with Kendra’s name on it, and inside was an SD card with what appears to be an innocuous video of a wedding reception. The woman died trying to get the video to Kendra, but for what purpose? Before Kendra and the FBI can answer that question, the bride is abducted from her suburban home.
And so the hunt is on for a killer whose nightmarish plan is slowly becoming clear. A plan that involves a powerful law firm and a multi-billion dollar corporation. As the body count rises, Kendra joins forces with private investigator Jessie Mercado and agent-for-hire Adam Lynch to stop the plot as it grows ever closer to its terrifying conclusion.
In Double Blind, Iris and Roy Johansen deliver an emotional, gripping new entry in the bestselling Kendra Michaels series.

Kendra was born blind & it enhanced her other senses. A miraculous stem cell operation gave her sight but she didn’t lose those enhanced senses. Kendra is on the trail of a serial killer. She was brought into the case when one of the victims was found close to Kendra’s condo, with an envelope with her address in her pocket.
This book was another terrific thriller. The plot was fast moving & the action was intense. The interactions between the characters give the plot dimension & strength. There is an element of romance that adds emotional depth. I enjoy this series with Kendra, Lynch & the others.
Another fabulous book from Iris and Roy Johansen!!! This dream team continues to write some of best thriller and suspense novels out their. Their characters are so interesting and so multidimensional and I feel like I know them personally. Double Blind has one of my favorite characters of all kendra Michael s a formerly blind woman who got her sight back, but who see’s,hears and smells things that others dont. When a woman is killed trying to get a sd card to kendra once again she is pulled into a case and pitted against another sadistic monster who is willing to kill anyone that gets in his way and who also has ties to a corrupt multi -billion dollar corporation that has ties to law enforcement and goverment. Besides kendra, bad boy and mercenary Adam lynch is back. The chemistry between kendra and lynch has always been like a powder keg ready to explode and now it’s been let go go and theirs no turning back!!! I knew when these two came together that sexually it was going to be phenomenal and it was worth waiting for!!! Also Jessie Mercado private investigator all around bad ass is back!!! Love this chic!!! Another of johansen’s strong take charge herione’s!! This book was full of johansen’s trade mark twist’s and turns and even though she wrapped up this book it’s not done, but that’s what I love about her books can’t wait to see what happens next now that lynch, kendra and Jessica have decided to take Brock limited on,it’s gonna be one hell of a ride!!
Double Blind by authors Iris Johansen and Roy Johansen was non-stop Kendra Michaels action! I really enjoy this series and even if you have not read the previous books do not hesitate to jump in and read Double Blind. Once you get into the plot and twists of the story you will understand the title. Kendra is a very gifted source used by the FBI in helping to profile and investigate some of their most puzzling cases. Kendra had been blind, but since she has recovered her eyesight her abilities to use all senses are very acute. She has a special friendship with Adam Lynch, another tactical professional used by the FBI for special ops. Their relationship rises to ‘HOT’ in this book. The story plot is interesting and the characters are well developed. The danger seems to never stop as the case progresses. I won’t post spoilers, but I enjoy when other characters return in the books such as Olive and Jess. And as always, I can hardly wait for the next book!!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this book.
I love Kendra!! She is always good for a fantastic mystery and this new one was no exception. This time she gets brought in on a case after a woman is found dead with note with her name on as well as a video that leaves more questions then answers. Bringing her in was not part of the bad guys plan though so this puts a wrench in things which quickly starts to show as things unravel quickly. Add in Lynch and all the other characters we have grown to love to get one suspenseful read that will have you on the edge of your seat as you keep turning the pages. A total must read!! I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
Fantastic read! Lots of surprises. Well-developed, interesting characters.
I have read a lot of books by Iris Johansen, but I somehow had missed this series and ended up jumping in at #6 and it worked as a standalone. I now need to go back and read the first 5 in the series. While this is a mystery, it is not like the Eve Duncan series.
The main character, Kendra Michaels, was born blind but had a successful stem cell surgery and can now see. She uses her highly developed senses to occasionally help the FBI with cases. This story has several things going on in it from blindness, kidnappings, a multi-billion dollar company, murder, some romance and much more. Kendra is a sometimes likeable, often stubborn, strong and independent. This novel is high on dialogue and ends with setting up a sequel.
it was an entertaining, fast-paced novel and I look forward to reading the rest of the series. However, to me, the Eve Duncan series is much better and more polished than this one.
With words from the killer “remember I know you better than you know yourself” Kendra sounds like an ordinary person with an unusual job. Doing music therapy, and double blind experiments, she helps people and gets results. Griffen with the FBI Is trying to recruit her, meanwhile, a case with her name on it. Kendra didn’t know her, though envelope had her name on it. Great start to this story, you have the players, you have the name of the corpse, now we want to know why. Her name was Elena, she ran into traffic, as a bullet entered her chest. You are captured, by another book in this series. Good flowing plot, and one loves the characters. Given ARC by Net Galley and St Martin publishers

I thought that there should have been more romance in this book. But other then that the book it a very good read.
Kendra Michaels, Jessie Mercado and Adam Lynch join forces to stop a serial killer and a cover up in this very good thriller/mystery.
This was a gut twister. Johansen and Johansen really out did themselves. This one is a must read. Wow is all I can say!
So good but so unrealistic. Loved it anyway. Liked these characters and the plot of this book. Kendra is one of my favorites. Looking forward to reading the next installment.
Formally blind, Kendra is so in touch with her other senses. This makes her notice details others don’t and she’s in high demand with the FBI. There is a serial killer at large and she’s made herself a target. This was a face paced, action packed drama and I enjoyed every minute of it.
I really love this series and read this one at one sitting. The dynamics between the main characters are complex and entertaining. The people are very interesting and complex. Good plot. Part of it hits right in the gut. Will be looking forward to the next one.
I really enjoyed this story & have been looking for more of her stories
Kendra Michaels is once again drawn into a FBI investigation although this time by the murder victim. Kendra relies heavily on her heightened senses to pick up on clues that the average investigator doesn’t. In this case, the murder victim was murdered trying to get to Kendra’s apartment. The interesting twist is that Kendra has no idea who the woman is or why she would want to get to Kendra. We see many of the former characters that we have met in the Kendra Michaels series and it is great to have them back in the mix. If you are looking for an interesting and entertaining read this one will definitely do the job.
Oh my… another winner from Iris Johansen and Roy Johansen. I started the Kendra Michaels series about 2 books back and have not been able to pass up reading them. They are books that I know will entertain, keep my attention, and make me think while reading them.
With Double Blind we find Kendra pulled into another FBI investigation where someone is targeting guests at a wedding. A video of the wedding is given to Kendra and that is her only clue to start the investigation. While it was never really shared how Kendra had anything to do with the wedding, I came to the conclusion that her reputation was the reason that she was given the video with the assumption that her amazing skills to solve crimes would be put to use. Of course, this is exactly what Kendra does.
The crime part was interesting and I can easily see how it will feed into future books in this series but what I really enjoyed was the relationship between Kendra and Lynch. They circled each other, pushed each other, and never really confessed their feelings. I feel like they trust and like each other a lot but they don’t know how to open their hearts and lives to allow them to accept each other in their everyday lives. Double Blind’s ending set it up for there to be much more to come for these wonderful characters and I am excited to see where it will lead.
It was good read and I like the author and her series.
Good read, great characters
Liked the characters finally got together. Easy to read
Kendra and Lynch finally quit dancing around their mutual attraction despite world class threats to both of them, only to have Lynch disappear to deal with international links to them. He doesn’t foresee the indomitable Kendra arranging to join him to watch his backside on his search for justice for American forces who were injured in Afghanistan due to a military contractor going amok. Great addition to the Lynch/ Michaels pair!
