Harper Abbott had tried for four years to get over her high school sweetheart. She thought she had done it until his band showed up in their small town to play for some rich kid’s birthday party. She tries to ignore his promises to make her remember just how good they were together, but she remembered. She remembered all too well what his touch was like, how soft his lips were on her neck. He … neck.
He asks her for one weekend. That’s all he would need to make her see that they were meant to be. There was one thing standing in their way. She had a new business to run. She’d put everything she had and then some into The Donut Hole. If she lost it, she’d be homeless.
She agrees to go on one condition: He come back to their small town and work with her for one weekend. Oh, the things you can do with donut glaze and cream filling!

Harper’s spent the years since Sutton left trying to get over him. They were high school sweethearts that were torn apart because of a scheming mother. Sutton’s band is now world famous, but they’re back in her hometown for a private birthday party.
Sutton’s not been able to get over Harper either. Even with his rock star lifestyle, she’s still on his mind and to him, being back home is the perfect time to check up on her.
Harper’s not sat around doing nothing though. She found her passion for pastries and opened up a donut shop with her best friend. She’s put all her focus into making the shop a success.
But when Harper and Sutton see each other again, I swear time stopped. They’re love is a shining beacon. One that should’ve never been doused.
I thoroughly devoured this book. The writing is amazing, Ms. Frame has created such a wonderful world, I didn’t want to leave. I wanted more about the members of Half Price, including Styx. She’s created such an amazing story that you can’t help but be sucked in, leaving only when you reach the end. She does rock stars well, showcasing both the good and the bad of the rock star life. I definitely recommend this story.
This second chance romance will have you craving donuts and all things sweet and sticky. What happens when the life of a rockstar has you yearning for the simple things in life and the one person that made you complete. Sutton Price misses Harper and when his band end up in his small town, he is going to make sure that he gets his chance to show her just how much. These two light up the pages and their connection is like a love serenade. They will make your heart race and your pulse skip a beat as these two finally act on what they have been aching for during the past four years, each other’s touch. As drama unfolds and realizations are made there might be some hard truths that will be brought to the surface. A captivating story that will give you just enough passion, angst and sweetness to satisfy any craving.
Harper owns a donut shop and has always had the hots for Sutton Price. He also just happens to be a member of the band Half Price. He’s been there and done the parties, drugs and women. Now here’s tired of it all. He needs to be something to be normal in his life. The group is going to his home town and play at a birthday benefit. And he’s going to find the normal in his life. He’s going to find Harper. This was so good. There’s a lot going on in this book, with the band then add in finding Harper and convincing her that he needed her. You are on the edge of your chair the whole time that you are reading this book. It’s exciting and then you have some sad things going on, too. I really enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to anyone who loves a sweet romance with some awesome donut holes thrown in. You can’t lose with this book
