When Jack dies, his wife and his two lovers discover his secret life… and each other. A gripping story about love and human nature — a compelling companion to Pam of Babylon.
Dream Lover, Prayers for the Dying, Family Dynamics, The Tao of Pam and coming soon, In Memoriam complete the Pam of Babylon Series…until the next book.
This author seems to always present complicated yet fascinating characters. Another winner!
The characters were a disaster and could not seem to get their acts together. They were a mess and unable to get or ask for help out of the situation. On top of it the author ends the book with a cliffhanger and many unanswered questions.
The Pam of Babylon series by Suzanne Jenkins just makes me realize that there are so many people out there with problems, it makes our own life dramas seem mediocre at most. I love the series, totally addicted now
I read the first book in this series and liked this even better
Easy to read page turner. Quick to read, interesting take on life.
The cheating bastard situation happens often in life so these stories are often fun to read. The sister one blew my mind a bit, but how all these women overcome the lemons life has given them makes for a pretty good story. Enjoy the read, I know I did.
Good beach read.
I hated it – I loved it ….. I wanted to kill Jack myself. Awesome story.
It the book good although a bit hard to follow. The ending was too abrupt.
The subject matter was both disturbing and compelling. The women involved (wife, sister, mistress) were indelibly connected in many ways – the most explosive connection being their emotionally stinted relationship to the same man.
There was no clear protagonist; no one, too, with whom I complete lack of compassion.
Still pondering whether I …
I have read 4 of the books in the series. I will finish them. Great.
Seemed to go on and on. Not a bad read, but not the best.
Unrealistic but possible plot line.
Different, but that’s what makes it good.
Loved the whole series
Great read.
scenario I never expected
The story pulled me in through strong characters and tragic circumstances; but left me hanging at the end, feeling a lot of situations were unresolved (no doubt for a sequel-to-come).
Slow start and a bit predictable, but all in all not a bad read.
It was okay. Part of a series that I don’t intend to read more of.
