This book was a lot of the author repeating himself. I constantly felt like his characters were giving the same information over and over again, and being unbelievably detailed in their dialogs.
Not what I expected, but certainly kept my interested. Recommended reading!
Boring start; I quit reading after a few chapters.
I didn’t like the language but it did accurately show the heartache that infidelity causes – to so many people. Some things cannot be undone.
Ready to read the next one. It does leave you in the air.
Enjoyed this book…..somewhat silly but warm hearted….
I did not finish this book. I lost interest in the middle
Excellent read
Could not finish it. Plodding, unsympathetic characters. Slow moving
It was a little redundant. The main character talked about things over and over again. Once the story unfolded it was an enjoyable read
This book was so engaging that I couldn’t put it down. I am really excited to read the next book in the series. The characters are very human and realistic. I can easily relate to their weaknesses and humanistic qualities.
I am only 28 pages in and still trying to decide if I will finish it. The repetitiveness of Pete’s thoughts has gotten annoying and he seems to be a whiner. I will give it two more chapters, then refresh this review. I could only do one more chapter before I deleted this from my eReader. Boring.
Couldn’t put it down!
Enjoyed this book and look forward to the next two of the trilogy.
My first book by this author. Can’t wait to read the follow up books to see where these damaged characters lives go from here (if they get to live!) Fantastic, creepy tale.
The main character is stuck in his own head too much for my liking. I also didn’t care for the ending.
The 40s crisis. Not a good idea to act on urges over family loyalty
Good, quick read.
Great story that keeps you on the edge of your seat! One of the rare storys that I purchased to read the rest!
Good read.
