Easy to read but not a page turner like I thought it would be. The held back truths that are not said can be harmful to any relationship. Good but not great.
Great book
This was a weird book. i really liked it. never suspected the ending. It is part of a trilogy. gonna have to get the other two.
Very good reading, hard to put it down once you start!
Interesting read
At first I was not fond of how the story kept jumping from memory to memory. But I realised it all came together nicely.
It was full of twists and turns and I would recommend this book to anyone who loves suspense and mysteries. Enjoy!
This book had little to offer me with it’s weak main character who constantly proved he was not up to the task, whether it be being faithful to his wife or able to decide if his friends were true or shallow. Half the book seemed to be about him questioning himself in whatever situation he was involved in. When I finish a book I like to feel that it was time well spent; but several times during the book I questioned why I was still reading it.
It was a very good book
The book was well written and kept the reader intrigued. I had to keep reading to find out what happened. Glad it didn’t end in a cliff hanger.
Too wordy and predictable.
This was an entertaining book. I liked the Great Britain setting and the flash backs. It did drive me crazy that Pete had such bad luck in life, I found that un-realistic. I will be reading part two of this trilogy but I hope Pete has a better cell phone in that book.
I loved this book and I am looking forward to reading more from this author.
The book was a waste of time. Nothing funny about the style. Junk.
The story was okay but it was soooo wordy! Could have cut out half of it and still told the story. It was actually painful to make myself finish it. It the first of a trilogy and although Id like to know what goes on in the next book, I just can’t do it! Sorry.
It sucked me into the trilogy to find out how the characters turned out
Every time I knew what was about to happen there was a new twist. Loved the book. Highly recommend.
Fast read, hard to put down
Tragic but good stories within stories.
I lost interest after reading about 1/3. It seemed to just keep rehashing the affair.
I kept thinking I was reading the same chapter over and over
I didn’t finish the book. I was disappointed by some of the language used.
great read
