What a finale to the Uncommon Justice series! This book started with a bang and it did not let up once. The mystery was very good and the twists and turns kept me guessing. I stayed up late several nights reading it because it was hard to put down. The ending was excellent and I am sorry to say goodbye to these characters. I am looking forward to Elizabeth’s next series.
I received this book for review and was not required to post a positive review. All thoughts are my own opinion.
What a way to finish out a series! Can’t get enough of her writing. The book keeps you turning the page so fast, that you don’t realize where the day has gone. The author keeps you guessing up until the end. She makes you feel that you are right beside the characters. She describes the scenery so vividly that you can imagine what it looks like and feels like.
I think this series really went out with a bang for book 3! For me, each on got better and better. Rae is a tenacious investigative reporter who will stop at nothing to find her missing college roommate. Liam is a former DEA agent who doesn’t know where exactly he belongs. He fell in love with her, but she blew his cover on his last assignment. Now, they’re no longer speaking, but she needs his help to find her sister in law.
Set around the Grand Teton National Park, the scenery of the story is breathtaking, even if you can’t see it. With the many characters and interlocking story lines, you’ll be wondering who the bad guy is until the very end. This was definitely a “heart stopper” read for me, as I found myself anxious and blowing through pages to see what would happen next. Be sure to read all three books for the best grasp on this story.
I was given an early copy of this manuscript through NetGalley for my honest review. I also purchased the audiobook via Audible. All opinions expressed are my own.
Impossible to put down!
Woowee! A plot that takes you in and keeps you turning pages! Elizabeth Goddard definitely delivers on the romantic suspense! I was on the edge of my seat, while falling in love with these characters. The writing in this book is superb!
I was riveted! This is such a great series! I absolutely recommend it!
Thank you Elizabeth Goddard for allowing me to participate, I love your stories.
Rae Burke just received the phone call that no one wants to receive, her sister-n-law is missing. Her brother Allan, and Zoey’s husband, called her to ask for her help to find her. Rae is an award winning journalist and is very good at research, he felt if any one can help find her it is Rae. But Rae figures out very quickly that she will need help. There is only one person that she would even consider contacting. But she is not sure he will be willing to help her in light of how their first encounter went.
Liam McKade just wants to melt into his ranch and work on finding peace for his life and soul once again. So when Rae shows up asking for help to find her sister-n-law, he really wants to run. He almost lost his life the first time around with her. And his heart is still not completely healed from her.
But he would rather help her than hear that something happened to her and have to live with that. So he agrees.
This was a very good story and as usual with Elizabeth’s stories, I did not want to see it end.

*4.5 Stars
Don’t Keep Silent, by Elizabeth Goddard, is the third book in the Uncommon Justice series. From beginning to end, it offers a thrilling combination of mystery, suspense, action, faith, and romance. With a genuine talent for riveting storytelling, Ms. Goddard has written a book that is rich in setting, characterization, and plot. And like snowflakes falling on a mountain slope, the themes of adversity, faith, perseverance, and second chances add depth and appeal to a captivating story that uplifts while it also entertains.
In Don’t Keep Silent, the wintry, alpine setting is immersive and enhances the book by contributing an authentic sensory experience to the story. The wind is raw and frigid, the snow is thick and powdery, and the ice is slick and treacherous. More than a mere place for the story to unfold, the setting itself adds its own layer of danger and mystery.
The vibrant characters also make this book special. They are intense, vulnerable, smart, and interesting. Their needs and decisions are compelling. Page after page, the reader becomes enveloped in their thoughts, feelings, and motivations. As the characters struggle with difficult and dangerous events, they also look for purpose and meaning within their mistakes and choices. Their faith and trust grow stronger as they discover that wholeness is made possible through the promises of God and through choosing to love and serve others.
The engrossing plot of the novel is thoughtfully detailed and thoroughly engaging. With great pacing throughout the novel, important facts and details are thoughtfully uncovered, revealing the truth behind the secretive and disturbing events the characters encounter. Their efforts to make sense of the perilous circumstances makes for a very satisfying reading experience.
Ms. Goddard has succeeded once again in crafting a novel that is truly entertaining and utterly intriguing. With its integral setting, perceptive characters, and gripping plot, Don’t Keep Silent easily held my attention from the first chapter to the last. It is a book I can sincerely recommend to all readers who enjoy clean, suspenseful, romantic fiction.

With multiple surprises, an engaging mystery, great characters and non-stop suspense, Don’t Keep Silent was a fitting and exciting conclusion to this series!
I’m happy to finally see Liam in the spotlight, the last of the McKade brothers to have his story told. While he doesn’t always see eye-to-eye with Rae, their shared faith in God and determination to seek justice for those who in need make them a great team!
I happily recommend Don’t Keep Silent to fans of romantic suspense books. To see my thoughts on the entire series, click on Never Let Go and Always Look Twice . Each book had its own special flair, all while keeping in Elizabeth Goddard’s signature writing style. Don’t Keep Silent by Elizabeth Goddard is the third book in her Uncommon Justice series. Investigative Reporter Rae Burke is on the trail of her missing sister-in-law when she has to ask former DEA agent Liam McKade for help. This story takes you into the back country of Jackson Hole, Wyoming during the winter. Where you not only have to battle the elements but all the bad guys that are hot on your trail looking for revenge! Rae was always trying to measure up to her late father’s memory. His motto seemed to be “if you see an injustice “Don’t Keep Silent” do something about it! This was a great edge-of-your-seat thriller with some difficult topics addressed. Liam and Rae both had to forgive the things from their past to be able to move on with their future. I really enjoyed this book.
I received this book from the publisher for my honest review.
“Don’t Keep Silent”, the final book in the Uncommon Justice series, was a great read. It will keep you on the edge of your seat from the beginning to the end. I highly recommend this book.
I received a copy from the publishing company Revell. The review is in my honest opinion.
Trouble seems to follow the McKade brothers, considering their occupations in law enforcement and Liam is no exception. In fact, investigative reporter, Rae Burke, and Liam were in much danger in the operation that made Liam want to retire from the DEA. Close encounters with evil go hand in hand with those who choose to help others. But some things you DON’T KEEP SILENT.
Rae is looking for her friend, sister-in-law, Zoey. She enlists help from Liam and they find themselves getting deeper in a mystery. It is hard to know who to trust and how to keep loved ones safe. The McKade family and Rae and her brother clearly rely on God to see them through tough times.
This was a riveting read that did not let up on the excitement. In addition, you could almost see the beauty of the Wyoming mountains, feel the bite of the snowy winter weather and hear the whine of the snowmobiles. It was a page turner that was easy to get caught up in.

Don’t Keep Silent”
By
Elizabeth Goddard
“Don’t Keep Silent” by Elizabeth Goddard is the last book in the series . The series “Uncommon Justice” is about three different brothers in each book. It is a stand-alone but you might want to read in order. This isn’t the first book by this author I’ve read. She is one of my favorite suspense writer.
The first thing that caught my eye was the book cover. It was telling me, this is a suspense book for you. While reading this book and making it to the end, I realized it had a lot of interesting thing. This book was filled with everything you could ask for in a book. It has action, adventure, suspense, murder, love and even human trafficking. Then I opened the first page and that was it I was hooked. I never wanted to put it down and I didn’t want to end the book. I wanted it to continue! The author made all the characters likeable and interesting. I will gladly recommend this book to family and friends.

Don’t Keep Silent by Elizabeth Goddard is a hunt for the truth of what happened to Zoe. The story moves and bends as the suspense keeps readers flipping through the pages. I enjoyed the fast pace of the plot. The romance was really low key too, which is the way I enjoy my romances when I ‘m in the middle of a suspense novel . I don’t want to be distracted by all the romance and emotions flying everywhere. Fans of Romantic suspense authors like Irene Hannon, DiAnn Mills, and Colleen Coble should pick up this novel and enjoy it.
I received a complimentary copy of Don’t Keep Silent by Elizabeth Goddard from Revell Publishing, but the opinions stated are all my own.
Although this is a part of a series, I did not feel that I had to read the other books in order to enjoy this one. I loved this suspense-filled thriller that is my favorite kind of book to read! This is actually my first book by this author, but now I definitely want to go back and find her other books to read them. I devoured the story of investigative reported Rae Burke and former DEA agent Liam McCade. Rea is doggedly determined to find her missing sister-in-law when she shows up in Wyoming asking for Liam’s help. He agrees to help, and I could feel the sparks coming off the page any time these two were together. The romance took a back seat to the suspense though because apparently Zoey is in grave danger and now that Rae is hunting her, so is Rae. Drugs and human trafficking are involved, so the villains were not easy to uncover. The setting was wonderful! Wyoming in the winter and with a blizzard coming! The descriptions of the setting added to the taut suspense in the book as I waited for the next big reveal. They just kept coming! Fans of thriller and romantic suspense are encouraged to grab this book and read it.

In the entire Uncommon Justice series, Elizabeth Goddard immerses readers in the beauty and danger of the Grand Teton/Jackson Hole area of Wyoming. Don’t Keep Silent ends the series with the last McKade brother, an intricate plot, and some twists and turns that kept me guessing for a while.
Rae and Liam have met (and connected) before but things between them didn’t end so well. When Rae shows up in Liam’s home, he immediately goes on alert and from there, the investigation ramps up while the history between Rae and Liam is revealed bit by bit.
Both our hero and heroine are strong characters who, in their own ways, are in a search for Justice. And both of them are floundering a smidge after their last encounter, trying to figure out what’s next for them. The addition of Rae’s brother and his point of view rounded out the story.
While Don’t Keep Silent can be read without opening the first two books, do yourself a favor and grab the whole series if you haven’t already. You won’t regret spending time in the wonder and beauty of the setting or getting swept away in the engaging suspense.

Get ready for a chill to race down your spine as the suspense unfolds! This is the best installment in the Uncommon Justice series!
Rae Burke has spent her life investigating stories trying to follow in her father’s footsteps as an investigative reporter. When she hears her sister-in-law is missing, she does whatever she can to track her down and get to the bottom of her story. In order to find her sister-in-law, she must ask for help from the one man who took a bullet for her. Liam McKade left the DEA after his cover was blown when he saved Rae when her story got her in with the wrong people. Liam has gone to his family ranch in Wyoming to figure out what his next step is going to be. Rae finds Liam and fills him in on what she needs. He reluctantly agrees to help her in this search for her sister-in-law. The more time they spend together, the more danger they find themselves in, and the harder it is for them to keep their feelings for each other hidden.
After being introduced to Liam McKade earlier in the series, I was intrigued and wanted to learn more about him and see his story unfold. My desire was answered! Don’t Keep Silent gives readers a deep dive into his past and his heart for helping others. Even though he took a bullet for Rae and thinks he never wants to see her again, the moment he lays eyes on her he knows he will do whatever he can to help her. She infuriates him with every step of the investigation as she puts her life at risk time and time again in her search for the truth. The back and forth dialogue between the two of them makes the story flow so well. Rae hires him to protect her but makes that job almost impossible with each step they take as she puts herself in danger to try and find her sister-in-law and figure out how everything ties in together. For me, there could have been a little more suspense built up at a few key points; right when the tension was at its highest things seemed to fizzle out. The romance was very subtle throughout until the end where it went to warp speed. That’s the problem with some romantic suspense novels, a slow build and then the end goes light sped where it’s not believable. At least Rae and Liam had past history and it wasn’t just straight to love and marriage after they first met. While the ending was a little rushed, the whole story was enjoyable and a fun easy read. My only problem was I didn’t have enough time to sit and read it all at once. Fans of Gooddard’s novels and those that enjoy romantic suspense will not want to miss this one.

Follow the Clues!
A missing wife and mother, a frantic husband who pleads with his sister, Rae, to find her. Despite Rae’s investigative- skills, Zoey’s secret past makes finding a trail difficult.
But shortly after Rae shows up in Zoey’s hometown, things start to unravel with a room break-in, stolen objects, and attempts against Rae’s life.
Liam, a former DEA agent and love interest, could help figure things out–except he blames Rae for his loss of cover and near death the last time they were together.
What did Rae stumble upon that has caused everything to break loose? Can Zoey be alive when everything points to her death?
This clean, fast-moving tale has lots of action, and delivers an exciting ending. This 5-star book will appeal to fans of heart-pumping adventure with a sprinkling of romance.
Revell Publishing has provided bookreadingtic with a complimentary copy of, Don’t Keep Silent, for the purpose of review.
This is the third book in the Uncommon Justice series. It is not necessary to read the first two books to read this one. This is the story of the third McKade brother, Liam. When his cover as a DEA agent is blown and he is injured he heads home to the family ranch in Wyoming. When he left it wasn’t under the best of conditions. So he is hoping to make things right with his brothers. While there, he runs into Rae Burke. She is the reporter who blew his cover and was responsible for his injury. He wants nothing to do with her and tries to stay as far away as possible. Rae is trying to find her missing sister in law and she will do any thing to find her. Even ask Liam for help. Against his better judgement he starts to help her. What they don’t know is the kind of people they are up against.
This is a book that I recommend for all those who like a good mystery. The book kept my interest the entire time.
I was given this book by Revell Publishing via NetGalley in exchange for honest review. I was not compensated in any way.
Elizabeth Goddard has earned her place on my list of must read suspense authors. Her Uncommon Justice series has been first rate all the way and Don’t Keep Silent is the icing on the cake. Goddard offers her readers a tale of nonstop action, mystery and suspense, with ample clues along the way yet somehow managed to keep me guessing until the very end.
Characters are both well-rounded and relatable. I honestly cared about Liam and Rae and hoped that they not only would find Rae’s sister-in-law but that their relationship would be restored. Several possible suspects looked good as the villain in my opinion and I was wrong more than once. The narrative included a surprise or two that helped to keep things interesting. A strong message of faith was included but was not intrusive.
Don’t Keep Silent was an enjoyable read that kept this suspense fan happy for a few hours. I look forward to this author’s next series.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book provided for the author’s influencer team. A favorable review was not required. All views expressed are my own.
Don’t Keep Silent is the final and in my opinion, the best book in the Uncommon Justice series by Elizabeth Goddard. This story centers around Rae Burke, journalist, and Liam McKade, former DEA agent. They actually had met once before on a case Rae was investigating and Liam ended up having to blow his cover to save her.
They meet again in Jackson Hole, Wyoming where Rae has traveled to find answers about her sister-in-law’s disappearance. Hesitantly, she enlists the help of Liam who is now living on his family’s ranch in Wyoming. Very quickly, it becomes apparent that someone does not want Rae to find out anything about her missing sister-in-law. What begins is a nail-biting page-turner for lovers of suspense. Who is trying to stop Rae and why? What lengths will Liam have to go to this time to save her? Read the book to find the answer to these questions and more. Lovers of romantic suspense will enjoy this complicated storyline with lots of twists and turns.
Thank you to the author and publisher for a copy of this book. All opinions expressed are entirely my own.
Action-Packed present and past collide in this suspenseful, read rich in backstory.
Rae Burke is an investigative journalist, on the search for her sister-in-law who has suddenly gone missing. In order to do that she goes to the one man who has the skills to help her find Zoe. Rae is the last person that Liam McKade wants to help after his cover was blown protecting her the last time, but he takes the job. As the plot unfolds did Rae and Liam, realize that the danger might be more than they even imagined.
Engaging and fast paced this book keeps you hanging on, not wanting to put it down as the story progresses and more secrets are revealed. Rae and Liam make a great team. Liam is very serious about his job, he is skilled at what he does and yet he is struggling to decide what to pursue next. Rae is daring, and wants to do whatever she can to bring Zoe home to her brother and young niece. Rae has a passion for bring the truth to light, but her impulsive nature can get her in trouble sometimes.
There is a lot going on in this book, interweaving the past with the present, bringing the tension of current suspense as well how the secrets of the past impact what is going on in the present in Rae and Liam’s relationship. I liked how Liam and Rae are a great team, and though they can be opposites they compliment each other better than you’d think at first glance. The action was tight, but there was also time for great character development and relationship growth.
Overall a fantastically thrilling read from beginning to end, this book works well as a stand alone, as well as a companion part of the series. I like how the heavier backstory was well woven throughout the story, so it didn’t ever feel like information dumping, and I was always eager to find out more. There are strong theme of faith, family and forgiveness throughout. This book sealed the deal for me, I’m a huge fan of this author and can’t wait to see what she has coming out next!
