He can’t deny his need to claim her as his… says she’s just the house-sitter and he pulled her into bed when she was trying to wake him up. He says he’s just found his future wife.
She’s off-limits—too young, too sweet, too innocent and a student at his university. But he’s one naughty professor who doesn’t care what the world says. She belongs with him.
Author Confession: This story goes back to my filthy, sweet roots readers have been asking for. Insta-love, a heaping dose of immediate OTT attraction, a wildly implausible (yet completely romantic) scenario, and enough alphamallow goodness to singe your eReader. Pick up this guilty indulgence about love so wrong it’s right. You know it’s got the tropes you love—older man/younger woman, bad professor, possessive hero, nerdy heroine, small-town romance, and what’s a Brazen Bay book without a cameo from Stella?

I really loved this and the story of Nick and Katie. Nik was super swoon worthy and Katie was such a sweetheart. This was pretty short but I felt it had enough that I it was a great story. Nicki Vee does a great job

Don’t Get Me Wrong by Brill Harper is a contemporary romance that is the fourth book in the Love in Brazen Bay series. In this novella, Katie a university student comes home from work to find the hot archeology professor from her university campus asleep in her bed. Nick the hot professor is still asleep when he pulls Katie into bed and underneath his naked body. This is their hot and steamy accidental introduction to one another. This book is a wonderfully written and sexy romance where the scenes are literally so hot I got warm just reading it. I loved this novella and couldn’t put it down. Don’t Get Me Wrong is a scorching hot romance.
I love instalove books, and Don’t Get Me Wrong by Brill Harper is pure gold. Archaeology professor Dr. Nick Sanders has been away for months on a dig and has returned to Brazen Bay to continue his teaching career at the local college. Nick is surprised to find his house still standing since he left his younger brother, Devon, to house sit for him. Nick collapses in his bed from exhaustion and wakes to Katie, who has been house sitting at Devon’s request, trying to wake him. The chemistry between Nick and Katie is HOT! Nick knows he needs to stay away from Katie who is a sweet, young, and innocent college student but knows she is the “one” for him and vows not to let her go. What will Nick do when a baby is dropped off at his doorstep? Will Katie stay and help Nick with the baby, or will she walk away? Will Nick and Katie be able to find the baby’s mother? I loved Don’t Get Me Wrong by Brill Harper. I loved how Katie and Nick grew closer while taking care of the baby and looking for the mother. I loved how Nick proved over and over he was nothing like his brother and was willing to take care of those he loved and considered family. Don’t Get Me Wrong is a great book with wonderful characters. I would highly recommend getting Don’t Get Me Wrong by Brill Harper.

Indiana Jones finds his treasure
This is my favorite book of the Love in Brazen Bay series so far. It is an fast-paced, easy reading, insta-love, novella length story between an older man and a younger woman, Nick and Katie. It is also funny, sweet, and steamy and made me smile.
I enjoyed reading this story and would recommend it to anyone that have an hour or so and needs a smile on their face.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
This is book four in the Love in Brazen Bay series. Dr. Nick Sanders is returning home after ten months. He is so pumped to see that his house is still standing as his younger brother, Devon was left in charge of it. Nick just wants to get into the house and get to bed and he does. Katie is returning home late from work and finds someone in her bed, sound asleep. That person then pulls her into bed and curls up around her. Not likely! When Nick wakes up confused and Katie is equally confused, it is a whole lot of fun to see these two work it all out. As always, you get a great story, amazing characters that always have undeniable chemistry and of course, a challenge or two when they figure out that the other is their ‘one’. Now to patiently wait for the next book. Enjoy!

Very forceful instalove
Very short romance well written, but reading is as fast as the meeting of Professor Nick and student Katie (who does not attend his classes). Their immediate passion seems too powerful and too fast. However, the whole remains cute, hot, a real fantasy.

Something special!
by sewsummore
This book was pure romance, falling in love the night they met, staying in love the next day while coping with a month old baby. Seems impossible but anything can happen when you meet your soulmate. Nick was exhausted from a long day travelling and the last thing he expected when he was woken from a deep sleep was finding a young woman in his arms. He thought she was his dream lover but then he realized he was awake, but she really was his dream come true. This was a wonderful book for me to enjoy, I am a dyed in the wool romantic and I just loved this book. From that first day together Nick and Katie knew what they had was something special and I think this book is something special as well.

Short and sweet story that will definitely hold the reader’s attention! Dr. Nick Sanders, an archaeology professor, returns home to Brazen Bay after being away for 10 months on a dig. He finds the delightful Katie in his home. She has been house-sitting for him at his younger brother Devon’s request. She tries to wake Nick, who is a stranger to her and in “her” bed, and he pulls her in with him! Katie is totally wrong for him – she is way too young, sweet and innocent, and a student at his university. But to Nick’s surprise, she is the “One” for him and he won’t let her go.
I was amazed to find that I really enjoyed this fast-paced love story more than I had expected! The characters were great, and the story line and detail kept the reader fully invested! Don’t miss this one! It was very amusing and worth the read.
I enjoy this book from beginning to the end. The characters are well developed and engaging and the chemistry is strong. The storyline flowed smoothly from the beginning to the end.

If you like rom-com stories, you’ll love this one! To actually feel the off-the-charts chemistry between Katie and Nick. You think that a professor and a student are in for all kinds of trouble for crossing the lines of propriety but it’s the way the author navigates our couple through uncharted waters is a treat. It is really a nice change of pace theme that is full of steamy romance that will ignite your e-reader.

Quick story with insta love and a bit of taboo thrown in. Great story. Loved Nick and Katie. Attraction and chemistry was off the charts between them. Story was so hot. I loved it. Lisa and Madison were such a great addition to the story. Loved that they got them the help they clearly needed. Nice going back to Brazen Bay.

This is another good read by then none other Brill. This was a nice easy, quick read. Nick is a Professor that is on a Archaeology dig. He is finally home after months away. Once he crashes in bed, he is awaken by Katie. She is house sitting for Devon, Nicks brother. Katie goes to get in bed and thinking it’s Devon, Boy is she shocked when Nick grabs her and thinks he’s dreaming. He is not dreaming but is in heaven when he sees Katie. He sees a beautiful woman and wants to make her his. Katie feels the same way. Even though it is only been minutes since meeting Nick. It was love at first sight for these two love birds..

Nick returns from months overseas to his house. His brother has been housesitting for him, supposedly, but Katie has been doing the housesitting instead. When Nick goes to bed exhausted and Katie comes home and finds him in her bed, all hell breaks loose. What a short and sweet romance. Loved it.
I love the insta-love stories. Older experience men and younger women. Nick and Katie are great character and you feel the electricity between them from the start. It sparks. Very fast paced book. This book will hold your attention and give you a nice book to read on a lunch lunch break . Bill Harper did a great job with this book. Katie and Nick meet and it’s insta-lust/love in this cute and steamy short read. They both take huge chances to reach their HEA. Good read!

A little different…
This addition to the “Love in Brazen Bay” series is a little different from the others. This one is faster paced…”wham, bam, let’s get married” paced. I don’t want you to think that this is a bad thing because it’s not. The story-line is still there and the characters are still perfect for each other. Of course Stella is still there finding homes for pets! So, yeah, it’s still a Brazen Bay story and a must read in the series.
