“One day you’re human and the next day, you’re craving blood. Instead of going to the grocery store and splurging on cupcakes, you go to the grocery store and splurge on cashiers.” In a world filled with monsters, a girl has to look out for herself.I’ve been on my own for as long as I can remember. That’s the way I like it. I can’t trust anyone, so I lurk in the shadows and take what I want. Then … lurk in the shadows and take what I want.
Then one night changes everything.
I’m not about to let the vampires attack someone right under my nose, so I stop them only to find out that the person they’re hurting is not what I expected. He’s not human at all. In fact, he’s a demon.
He’s also so deliciously sexy that I can’t stand it.
But I have one rule, and I don’t intend to break it.

Our hero is trying to complete one last job before she can walk away from this life and start over, but things get complicated real fast. That’s what happens when you grow a conscience.
This is a paranormal romance with angels, demons and vampires. The story is well written and easy to read with well developed characters that bring the story to life. The setting is well detailed and rather interesting to explore, if also rather dark. The plot is on the complicated side with several twists and turns along the path that keeps everyone wondering what comes next. My only issue with the story was that at times it seemed overly complicated and it took some concentration to keep track of the players. Overall, it was an enjoyable read and a departure from what I am used to from this author.
Recommended.

This was an amazing story! Amy is a thief and with her partner, Daisy, they make a perfect team. After stealing an object she comes across and saves Harrison from being killed by vampires. She finds out he’s a demon, but he’s such a sweetie. This book was action packed, with twists, drama, and was an exciting and thrilling read from beginning to end.

Don’t Date Demons by Sophie Stern is a fun and exciting new story that will keep you up at night even as you try to force yourself to put the book down.
This story is witty and engaging, and you get sucked into it more as the story goes along. The two things most dangerous about this book are your lack of sleep and chuckling fits that may make you wet your pants.
If you haven’t read a book by Ms. Stern, I suggest you give Don’t Date Demons a chance, you won’t be disappointed.
*Spoiler* Sophie Stern sure introduced a lot of new concept characters. Who would ever think of earth-bored Demons and defanged vampires.

In a world full of humans, vampires, demons, and fallen angels life is hard. Amy is a bad a$$ thief. Between her and her partner, Daisy they have a good thing going. On her last mission, she saves this guy, Harrison, from being killed by vampires. Once he recovers somewhat, she learns he’s a demon. Her main rule is Don’t Date Demons! Harrison is so sweet it’s hard to remember he’s a demon. The three of them will go against the Vampire King to save humanity from the endless night. It’s great for a short read and I will probably read it again when I need a short story. I requested an advanced reader copy from Booksprout and am under no obligation to leave this review.
Wonderfully fantastic… The book was amazing… It had a lot of details and juicy scenes to it… The characters and their personalities match them perfectly… The plot and the storyline was very descriptive and amazing…
There’s plenty of action drama and twists and turns

Any is a thief who has just stolen a very important object one that can apparently kill anything. And shes going to need it when a major bad Vampire Derek brings darkness to her world everyone is in danger especially humans now vamps can walk in the daylight. Her friend Daisy will loose everything. But Amy will find a partner and lover in one Demon Harrison.
Harrison has managed to get himself in trouble with a fallen angel and some vampires but Amy rescues him now they work together to stop Derek.
This book had some okay parts there was the whole bad guy thing the romance and the ultimate battle which was just anticlimactic at best. So I can only give it 3 and a half stars.

Three and a half stars.
I like the concept of the story, but there were some parts that were just too off. Who stops on a mission to have sex in an alleyway? Amy is a thief and Daisy is her accomplice who stays behind for surveillance on the scene. Amy has just completed the “big one” when she sees someone being assaulted by vampires. It’s a stretch that she would stop to help but she’s just that kind of person. It turns out Harrison is an earthborn demon so he has no real powers. She is sweet and caring, he is smart. Of course, the sexual tension is high. This book could have been longer with more background on our characters and other places where the scene was over too quickly. It is a decent short story.

This is an enjoyable storyline that flows smoothly from beginning to the end. The characters are well developed and engaging and the chemistry is off the charts. I loved hot alpha males and the sexy and sassy females that keep them on their toes.

The author has again given us so many different creatures; humans, demons, vampires, angels and fallen angels. The vampires have taken over the city and our main characters, Amy, Daisy and Harrison need to save the city from evil beings.

ONE UNNERVING ADVENTURE!!!
She did it again! Sophie nailed this bad boy perfectly and kept me riveted on a razors edge from start to finish. A twisting vortex of inadvertent consistencies catapults your swirling emotions into play fluidly. Twixt and twined and put through the wringer blasts this piece of perfection bursting to life flawlessly. Speculation, drama, tension, turmoil, betrayal, intrigue, danger and suspense set the tone for this nerve racking, nail-biting, block buster. The characters are authentic and realistic with depth and qualities that are well blended and balanced. With 100% on point realism along with amazing scenarios that are so colorfully described its like you’re living it with them instead of on the sidelines. Fabulous job Sophie, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.
Don’t Date Demons
In this world, there is Vampire King ruling the city from a fortress called the Mountain. Amy and Daisy are sophisticated thieves making a living stealing from others. Amy and Daisy are planning one last job together and then both retire with a huge payday. Seems simple, get in, get out and sell to the buyer.
This book starts off with a bang, Amy is stealing a knife from the Vampire King’s vault in the Fortress called the Mountain. Daisy and Amy have planned this in advance. They have the tech and surveillance all prepared. She recovers the Sword of Edith. On the way back to their headquarters, Amy sees a group of vampires beating a man to death and stops them. What do you do with an unconscious and barely alive man? Bring him back with you to recover.
Amy and Daisy want to unload their merchandise as fast as possible, get the big payout and retire from stealing. We have no choice but to leave this man to recover while they make the drop to the client. While they are out the man recovers, but it is not a man, it is an earthborn demon. He hacks their computers and realizes they are in trouble with the buyer. The buyer is the one who had him beaten.
The buyer is Daisy’s husband, a fallen Angel. He attempts to kill Daisy and Amy. Amy fights back with the magical knife or Sword of Edith and kills him. They come back to the apartment to find Harrison recovered and realize that he is a demon. Now it is up to them to save the city from Fallen Angels and Vampires.
This book was a page turner, you are enveloped in action from the first few pages. The romantic entanglement between Harrison and Amy is hot. I read it in one sitting.
Two humans and a demon save the city. Amy and her friend Daisy are thieves. On what is hopefully their last job, things go wrong. They steal a powerful magical knife from the Vampire King, but when Amy is leaving she stumbles on a man being beaten by vampires. She rescues him and takes him back to her and Daisy’s base. But surprises are in store. He is a demon. And when they try to turn over the knife and get their money from their client a truth is revealed. An innocent life has been taken, and Amy and Daisy are now on the run from the fallen angels. Now they have to avoid the angels, and save the city from the vampire king. Will the demon they saved named Harrison be friend or foe, and will they be able to use the knife to save the city?
