They were out to break my heart…Amelia finally figures out exactly who her heart wants, and she is determined to go for it. She is willing to give the knight who stole her heart everything. She owns up to her mistakes and truly attempts to change, but just because her mind is made up, doesn’t mean her love is reciprocated. Will she choose the best-friend who learned her by heart, or the soccer … the soccer god who ignored her for the longest time? One of them will win her heart, the other will break it… But neither of them are safe from the guy who will stop at nothing to protect her.
Murder isn’t something Hawk shies away from. Actually, he prefers to use it as a last recourse, but he’s unravelling. The closer Amelia gets to achieving happiness, the more his control disintegrates. And when one of his carefully laid plans turns on him, he loses it. Realizing he’s the reason behind Amelia’s attack, plagues him with guilt. In all his attempts to protect her, he was the one who put her in danger- a failure he isn’t willing to have looming over him… But what happens when his Queen fails him in ways she can never take back?

The third book in the Knights series definitely doesnt disappoint. We start book 3 right where we left off in book 2. Lia is finally feeling like she knows who and what she wants and is ready to get it. Hawke is still pretty creepy and is playing to win. Unfortunately nobody else knows there’s a game to be played. This series is brilliant and book 3 gives you so many feelings from tears to happiness. Can’t wait to read book 4. This book is a definite must read.
Wow, a lot happens in book Knights Who Broke My Heart (KWBMH). Sonya keeps up the drama, angst, and suspense she ramped up in Knights Who Stole My Heart (KWSMH).
Robins takes a step back in KWBMH, despite having some chapters in his point of view. Not that I mind, as I’m not a huge fan of his.
Aiden’s evolution throughout the book is unexpected, but gratifying, as it looks like Lia may have finally found someone good for her.
Hawk is as horrifying as ever. We finally get confirmation of his identity, and, while I didn’t have a definite suspect, I’m glad it wasn’t someone I’d crossed off my list of possibilities.
Lia continues to evolve as a character, which is really nice. She’s starting to figure herself out and is gaining confidence in herself and her choices. her wavering on Robins still makes me want to shaker her sometimes, but she’s doing better.
I’m glad that KWBMH didn’t focus on all the girl drama like KWSMH did. If anything, this one was guy drama, which is much more familiar, and thus, easier, for me to deal with in general.
In the interest of full disclosure, I did notice a decent number of errors as I read. However, I received an ARC and notification that edits were ongoing, so I have reason to believe that they will be fixed for the final edition.
Overall, KWBMH is another strong entry in the Knights series. I very much look forward to reading book 4. Perhaps it will be Knights Who Healed My Heart?
I don’t even know where to begin with this review. There are no words to describe how I am feeling other than hungover! I got this book and locked myself in the bathroom the first 4 hours so I could read in peace! Sonya has a way with her words that just draws you in and makes you feel like you are right there with her characters going through everything with them. In this book Hawk is FINALLY revealed to us, thank goodness because the suspense was literally making me crazy and I was becoming suspicious of everyone on campus Amelia had contact with! I can’t tell you how many times I screamed at my kindle, at one point I gave up and got out the gallon of ice cream and a spoon and just dug in to eat my feelings away! I laughed, I cried, I angry then I was sitting on the edge of my seat yet AGAIN!! Sonya you have done it again with another amazing book I’m looking forward to Book 4!!
With this book in the series comes details as to who Hawk is. This book also is about who Amelia chooses as she struggles to figure out who and what she wants. It comes with many revaluations as well as more choices to keep you guessing. I couldn’t put this book down once I started it the husband had to make me quit reading it to go to bed. I can’t express how much I am in love with Sonya’s writing. I would highly recommend this series not just book 3.
Don’t Dare Touch (Knight # 3) My oh my oh my! That ending just blew me way. I’m diving into the final book in this series as soon as I finish this review. I’m currently numb after reading this one. Where to begin… the writing style is explosively captivating and complex with a edge. The vivid details and dual pov are the icing on the cake. The game of chess between the Knight and his pawn continues to play out with intricately weaved unexpected twists seeping through the narrative. Heaps of chemistry, passion and suspense mixed with angst and evolving character’s. Revelations opening up in bits & pieces leaving morsels of crumbs along the way. I’m on pins and needles waiting to start reading the final book in this new adult romantic suspense series.
This is the 3rd book in this phenomenal series, and this is one of those tales that just keeps getting better and better. Lia and Aiden are growing closer and new relationships develop, and although some questions are answered, so many more are left unanswered. This is another well written tale, which is thrilling, gripping, intriguing, and with suspense, mystery, twists, and secrets, which all had me totally enthralled throughout this addictive and riveting page turner. I cannot wait to read the next book after this cliffy, and I highly recommend this talented authors’ work for all.

This the third book in the Knights series and the stories just keep getting better and better. Not unlike the first two books i am left with a lot more questions than i started off with. The mystery is strong with this one. But the character development is still really good and i enjoy reading the different POV’s. This is one of those books that you never know what is around the next corner and i love that. I just need the next book so i can get some freakin answers!!! I would recommend this book to friend but i would strongly encourage them to read the series in order.

Knights who Broke My Heart ( Knights Series Book 3) by Sonya Jesus is the third book in the Knights Series.Ive truly enjoyed not just this book but the whole series. I had the hardest time putting it down once I started reading. I was hooked right off the bat.i love how the author grabs your attention from the beginning and keeps it till the end. Amelia is one of my favorite characters. Others are drawn to Amelia and others feel the need to protect her even from herself at times. My emotions were all over the place as I read this story. She faces some decisions. Who will capture her heart? Does she get HEA? Find out what happens by reading this Book. I highly recommend not just this Book but the whole series. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

Knights Who Broke My Heart is the third exciting instalment in the Knights series by Sonya Jesus. This book took the story, the characters, the suspense, the intrigue, the intensity…. and ramped it up by several notches. Right from the beginning, my head was spinning with possibilities and questions that I needed the answers to. I have followed this story and the characters, right from the beginning- and what a journey it has been. The whole way, Ms. Jesus kept the pressure on and kept me clambering for more. This story is a continuation from the previous two books, so if you haven’t read them, I highly recommend that you do- because you need all that information to fully appreciate and understand the events, character motivations etc in this book. This story has so much mystery, a drama, angst, danger, violence, sinister intent, schemes, the creepy (stalker) factor, obsession, intrigue, romance, and sooooo much more. I have really enjoyed the series so far, but this book is definitely my pick of the bunch, so far.
Once again, we join Lia and follow along as all the action unfolds. With Connor out of the picture, Aiden seems to be winning her heart. Lia thinks she finally knows what she wants… But does she, really? I didn’t think I liked Aiden, but he kind of won me over in this story. I am still firmly #teamRobbins though and have been the whole way through the series. Then add Hawk to the mix and the story really catches fire. Then, OMG- that ending!!!!!! My heart!!!! It had my anxiety going through the roof. My mind is whirling with scenarios and what-the-fudges! I CAN’T WAIT to dive into the next book to find out what happens……..
As I discovered in the last book/s and again in this one- the author has a strong, detailed and descriptive style- she’s able to easily build the intensity and tension in her storyline by manoeuvring the plot to suit any and every situation. She created lots of intrigue, excitement, and lots of questions- by building the anticipation to an all-time high- she really kept me guessing the whole way through.
This is a gripping story of obsession of the worst kind. Ms. Jesus built the tension and suspense exceptionally well. I was flipping the pages, immersed in the story and trying to figure out what I would find on every page, or around the next corner.
Book four, the finale to the series, can’t come quickly enough for me! That sneak peek at the end of this book- O. M. G!!! I have to know!!! I can’t wait!
Thank you, Ms. Jesus!
Sonya Jesus’ Knight Who Broke My Heart is the third in the Knights series; this new adult/college romantic suspense picks up where the previous book finished. This series/book is all about the suspense and how the drama circles key main characters throughout. The author does a fantastic job on leading these characters around one another while. There are so many twists and turns I am not quite sure where this story is finally going to end, but the ride the author is taking us on in the meantime is worthwhile and such an enjoyable one at that. Lia just cannot seem to find her footing, just when she thinks she’s got it something else comes. At times, I don’t know whether to like her or be disappointed in her. I have a love/hate relationship with her. Add in all the men that cannot seem to stay away from her, she’s like the magical unicorn! This has been a great series so far and I’m looking forward to seeing what’s in store in the next book.
Knights Who Broke My Heart is book 3 in the Knights series, and my third read from this author, once again she has proven how incredible her writing style is, her characters and amazing captivating and compelling storyline is! She continues to prove me wrong with each story being better than the last these are a series that cannot be read as a standalone as they are just to unmissable.
First, off can, we also point out how again she has left us hanging with that cliffhanger of an ending!
I cannot dispute how captivated and totally entranced by this read I was but I found I was still on the edge of my seat waiting for something major and big to happen halfway through the book. This isn’t me saying I didn’t enjoy this read, I loved this book as much as I loved the first two in the series, but I’m also aware this could also be the calm before the storm!
This read was suspenseful, thrilling, filled with mystery & it was fast paced It was compelling and You never once knew what was going to happen. There are twists and turns that are riddled in this book are so unexpected yet believable you would think that you were living this story yourself!
But along with all these aspects of the story you can’t help but relate to the inner turmoil that Amelia struggles with, I still can’t decide who I would prefer her to be with as there is still so much under the surface that hasn’t shown face yet. As all of Hawk’s plays have yet to be played.
This was an incredible plot, that flowed from chapter to chapter with perfection, and some incredibly in-depth characters that have you craving to read more and an ending that leaves you craving more and has many questions that need to be answered. I can’t wait to see where Sonya Jesus takes the next story and how far the characters will go!
Knights Who Broke My Heart by Sonya Jesus is the third book in the Knights series and flows on from the second book.
This story has its twists and turns and carries on from the other two books. The story is well written and the characters are brilliant and omg the cliff hangers are the worst in a good way but when you thought this book may answer some of the questions brought up, the author weaves more twists in the story which blows your mind.
The story follows Lia and after the last story and the attempt on her life, she has picked up a few more admirers along the way,she is having difficulties trying to get her head around the whole situation. The secrets that are hidden with each of them have you thinking who can you really be trusted, will Lia’s decisions help or hinder the situation and OMG another great cliffhanger.
The story is well written and a it weaves in and out of Lia’s life, the only thing that I will say if you don’t like waiting for the next story to arrive this series will seriously screw with your mind lol. I would recommend you read these books in sequence as you learn more about each character as they are working through the books and there is some pretty heavy things happen within the first two books.
I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
Knights Who Broke My Heart by Sonya Jesus
4 Stars!!!!
This is the third book in this series and man just when you thought things couldnt get anymore twisted and complex. I have really been impressed with the authors
world building and character development. This series does deal with an unique set of characters with an unique subject matter. It isn’t my usual genre but I did find
myself glued to the pages to see what would happen next and just what curveballs would be thrown to offset Hawks plans.
The whole mindset of Hawk is a little unnerving at first but as you get into this series you begin to in a way get into his mindset. I found it to be very engaging as
I read it that I would have to put myself in Lia’s place and see things from her point of view then the next have to see it from Hawks. I was on tenterhooks at the end of this
book though as the author does leave a bit of a cliffhanger and its love it or hate it but it does make you yearn for more and wanting to know what will happen. This author has a very unique style and although not my go to genre I definitely cannot wait to see what twists and turns she has in the next book. This book does really sort of put
Stalker/obsessor into prospective.
Well, what a ride that was! Each novel in this series strives, and accomplishes, to be better than the one before it. I’m so glad that I have continued from book one to here. The drama, confusing love, and never-ending suspense is ever present in this installment of the Knights Series. I highly recommend that you start with book one, Knights after My Heart, and read the books in succession. This book picks up five days from where the second book, Knights Who Stole My Heart, leaves off.
Lia seems to grow a lot in this book. It was a bit refreshing, but I really wish this woman could make up her dang mind up. We see a lot about where Aiden is, and I found myself liking him in this one, as much as I didn’t want to. Hawk is still Hawk, crazy and awful.
HOLY cliffhanger! But, as much as I hate cliffhangers sometimes, this one was glorious. It has me sitting on the edge of my seat to see what will come in the conclusion of this series.
It’s nice to see that the characters flow over to each book. That being said, I would definitely read all the books leading up to this one so you don’t miss anything. I have read the other books and it was well worth it. Story is all about love and making the right choices even though the main character gets hurt in the end. The story ends abruptly which makes you want more! I love the flow of the writing and that is easy to read. I think anyone would enjoy reading the series.
Knights Who Broke My Heart (Knights Series Book 3) by Sonya Jesus. It is an interesting and captivating read as we follow the characters as they love, lose, stalk, have many issues, lie, keep secrets and so much more it’s hard to wrap your head around them all. I just wanted to smack some of them and say wake up or hug them as they cried or hide away from the crazy as he starts to unravel. The suspense keeps you turning the pages, the twists and turns have you wondering what comes next. On the edge of my seat, definitely. Nail biting, tick. Frustration, oh yeah. This story is clever and the ending, well the ending will leave you wanting more. I look forward to see what Sonya has for us in the next book.
Knights Who Broke My Heart is book 3 in the Knights series by Sonya Jesus. This book was another one with a big impact. And while a little hard for me to keep up with and decipher, it was a really enjoyable book. This author has a very different way of telling a story that is really enthralling. It will captivate and grab your attention wholeheartedly.
Amelia struggles with what she wants and leads readers on a merry dance of mystery, intensity, with her group of darkly delicious and handsome men. A stunning and mesmirising instalment to a fantastic series by an author that has some very unique storytelling qualities. 4 stars.
Knights Who Broke My Heart by Sonya Jesus is the third book in her Knights series. These books should ideally be read in order as they follow the same characters and the story arcs throughout them all.
In this book Amelia looks to have finally made her decision – she has finally figured out who she wants, who she is willing to fight for. With two people to choose between she has to fight to make sure that her love is returned. However, everything is even more complicated because of Hawk and his need to protect her.
Hawk has sworn to keep her safe, and he will stop at nothing to make sure it happens. But when something he does is the thing that puts her in danger he finds things starting to unravel. He never wanted to be the one to do that to her. But now that he has, he has to learn to deal with it. What he never expected though was for her to fail him as well.
I am really enjoying reading this series. I love all the characters and that we get to see things from their perspectives. I love trying to work out what might happen and which direction the story might go in. It always takes at least a few turns that I don’t expect. This is definitely a series well worth the read.
Knights who Broke my Heart (Knights #3)
By Sonya Jesus
Rated 5 stars.
Whoa! What just happened?! A cliffhanger? Ick! Bah! I am not a fan of them. The story is solid so why do this to me? I have mixed feelings about this. I enjoyed many parts of the story. But others I don’t get yet. Maybe the next book will have the answers I seek.
Lia is put through an emotional wringer in this book. She is trying to recover from some major problems that happened in the last book. She still has the attentions of Hawk, Aiden and Robins but I am wondering how her feelings for each of these men will propel her forward. She loves Robins, likes Aiden and is friends with Hawk. Let’s not forget Dylan and Mason and sometimes I even wonder about Sebastian. Also what’s up with the Soccer Gods calling her “Princess”? Or how they talk about “dibs” and the “wall”? My curiosity has been perked up on those boys and their weirdness.
Sometimes I don’t know who I am more mad at Robins or Hawk! GRrrr both of them are frustrating!! I have been a Robins fan from the beginning but now I’m not sure what to think. My heart is stressed by his activity but i also have a teensy-weensy bit of understanding for him. Hawk…he is just single minded in his thoughts and motions all pertaining to him getting HIS Queen.
The camaraderie between Aiden and the crew makes me smile! Seems they have a tight knit bond. I am still suspicious of their involvement with Lia. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. Dylan and Sebastian’s jokes on Aiden…sooo goood! I can’t help but chuckle as well. Dylan is so good with Lia. Offering support whether silent or vocal. But these soccer gods have secrets. Not sure if they are good or bad but I’m beginning to wonder about them.
I have been anxiously waiting for this book!! So glad I am finally reading it. I can’t decide whether to read it fast, because its so good, or read it slowly to savor it. Sonya Jesus did a wonderful job on this series. She brought these delightful characters into my life. I have worried about them, laughed with them, loved and cried while they did. This story was one I am glad I stumbled across. I would highly recommend reading the books in order. The building of suspense is completely worth it!
When is the next one??
Knights Who Broke My Heart (Knights Series Book 3) by Sonya Jesus
I absolutely loved reading this book just as much as the first two!! Sonya has done an exceptional job starting each book where the last one left off. I have enjoyed the growth of some of these characters and getting know them better. In this book Hawk is getting more intense and manipulating every situation that he can. There are definitely some twists and turns in the relationship between Robbins and Amelia. There is also a very interesting dynamic between Amelia and Aiden. I also got to know some of the soccer gods better and it gave me a better understanding of some of them. This book grabbed be from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down till I had read the last page. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this book and this series!! I suggest you read book 1 and 2 before reading this one. I can’t wait to read book four I am impatiently waiting to get my hands on it. This author has done an amazing job bringing me into this wonderfully told story.
