The DomI’m not broken, tortured, or scarred, some cliched, overdone and sensationalized misconception about this lifestyle… and the men in it who control their submissives with a strong hand. I’m just a Dom. Just a man who gets off on a woman who entrusts me with her submission. Just a man who loves to be able to show them all the ways the gift of their trust can bring them untold, … untold, never-before-experienced layers of pleasure.
But casually.
Just play. Just sex.
Nothing more.
Until I came across her.
She’s everything a Dom as experienced as I am shouldn’t want – new to the lifestyle, unsure, untrained. It should never have gone beyond those first few exchanges online. But there was something about her, something that kept me texting, calling, teaching her to trust me enough to meet with me.
After one touch, one taste, one night, I knew there was no going back. She was mine. And I was going to show her everything she had been craving from a man all her life.
I guess I just had no idea – or at least didn’t want to admit to myself – that this was different, she was different, we were different. And once I got to have her, I wanted to keep her.
You know… if I could convince her to stay…
Adley
It was just a drunken decision.
I woke up after a night of a little – okay, a lot – of ‘Thirty is just a number’ drinking to find that drunk-me had decided to do something that sober-me would never have had the guts to do, no matter how much I wanted it.
I had joined a D/s dating site.
And I was totally, absolutely going to delete my account and move on with my life. A life where I had secretly been craving a hand strong enough to take the control I held onto so tightly away from me.
Except I had a message.
From him.
I could never have anticipated the pull I felt toward him, how strong the need within me would be to feel him show me all the things I had been wanting, but denying myself.
I didn’t know it could feel like it did, that it could consume me, that it could make me crave not only his touch, but him.
It was dangerous territory, slowing falling for a man who made it clear that what was between us was casual. He wouldn’t even tell me his real name. And as things started to get more intense – both physically and emotionally – I had to start to debate whether the pleasure he gave me was worth staying for if it leads to a heartbreak I was sure I wasn’t prepared for…

This is a different book for Jessica Gadziala. It is her first entry into some soft BDSM and holy smokes…was it ever good!!!
I haven’t read that much BDSM books because it isn’t one of my favorite plots but I saw that this book was free on Amazon back in August and I already read some of Jessica’s books and really enjoyed them so I thought “why not?”.
I really liked the characters, especially Adley since we have more of her point of view. The story is really well written too and one thing that I really enjoyed was the way it was explained the BDSM world.
I haven’t read all Jessica’s books but I’m really excited to read the ones that I’m still missing.
So not what I expected I thought oh no how much like fifty shades is it going to be because now that I have read fifty shades and see a book about Dom/Sub they seem airily the same but this is refreshing and just waw from the get-go it gets you all hot and bothered. Jessica has done a really good job on this book and its a credit to her branching out into this kind of scene.
Defiantly recommend this and any Jessica Gadziala book

I’m going to be up front, this is not my genre. I do read them from time to time when an author I love brings them out but that’s it. I’m generally not into as man telling me what to do and reading these type of books just pisses me off. But like I said when its an author I love I always give it a go.
This didn’t piss me off, in fact it was very enjoyable. The rawness and emotional journey that Adley takes just sucks you in and you want to know every detail that comes next. be prepared for hot sexiness. Adley is not by any means a weak woman who lets her man walk all over her.
Dom is a tall dark cup of smoking hot coffee! He knows that Adley is new to this game o something about her draws him in. He cares from the get go and you can see this.
This book was not what I expected and this is also Jessica’s first shot at writing BDSM. She did a fantastic job and I loved it. Her story was originally and its a must read from me.
Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. Once I started I could not get enough, from the start till the end I was engrossed I was even on the edge of my seat with twists and turns, action pact, hot and steamy, lust and passion, strength, happiness with a happily ever after. Do yourself a favor and buy the book you want be disappointed.

This is my first time reading this author and I’m very impressed with this book. I thought the BDSM lifestyle was approached and written about in a very mature and understanding way. I liked both characters, they seemed honest and down to earth. A really wonderful read.

Don’t Come is the first book I have read by Jessica Gadziala and I was Pleasantly surprised as to how much I enjoyed her writing. Essentially the story focused on Adley, who gets drunk and signs on to a BDSM internet app, and Nathaniel, who initially meets her online and ends up introducing her to the world of domination and submission. This book has well developed characters, is well written, and has a steamy plot with an unconventional romance.

This is the first book I have read by this author and it left me with a very good impression. I look forward to reading more books. I enjoyed reading this book, the story was really good and the characters were perfect for the story. The story gave the reader a picture to follow as it moves along, a very steamy picture mind you. Enjoy!

I have to say this was my first book by Jessica Gadziala. I had heard her name, people recommending her books for quite a while. So when I stumbled across Don’t Come, I knew I had to read it immediately. The blurb alone really covers the premise but there was real depth to it. I don’t know if it was because of Adley’s inexperience or his desire to earn her trust but I was completely wrapped up in this story. I couldn’t help but feel Adley’s pain, her desire to protect herself as things get emotionally problematic. I wish we had gotten a little more of Nathaniel’s point of view because what we get doesn’t give much insight into how he is feeling. I also have to say that there should have been more groveling in the end. Yeah, I know he is a dom but still. He didn’t just shut down on her once for aftercare but twice. I know he was trying to protect himself but with so much experience, he should know that could mess her up emotionally. So, hence my need for more groveling. I quite enjoyed this first foray into Ms Gadziala’s work and I will definitely be picking up more. 4 and 1/2 stars for Don’t Come.
I thought this book started out incredibly slow, but stick with it, this was a solid read. I’m surprised as prolific a writer Jessica Gadziala is, this is the first book I’ve read of her’s, but won’t be the last. Adley wants to explore her submissive side, if she has one. She finds DOM on a matchmaking BDSM website and they begin an online relationship, that overtime becomes more. How the relationship grows and DOM challenges her is intriguing. For him being a seasoned dom, he certainly has issues with communication. But, the book picks up and is a well paced, page turner.
I received a copy from Booksprout this is my honest review.
This is a BDSM romance. Dom is a man that likes this world because of the trust his submissive gives him and the pleasure he can give her. Adley is new to this and dom is a great teacher but will it stay casual?

This book is amazing! The first book I’ve read by Jessica but it definitely won’t be the last! A story of Adley finding out what she truly needs and changing the man who can give it to her. After she signs up for a D/s website while drunk, Adley finds herself being contacted by a man listed as Dom. At first, she is unsure but she has wanted to explore this side of her and the fantasies that she has had about being a submissive that she sticks with it. After several months of just talking, Dom is ready to take it to the next level, a meeting. She agrees but almost backs out when she arrives at the meeting place. He approaches her before she can walk away and it starts her on a journey she doesn’t expect. She finds herself falling for him and he puts a collar on her one night without explaining the meaning behind it. When they attend an event at a BDSM club, several people ask her about her ceremony but she doesn’t know what they mean and Dom’s assistant Fagen, insists that Dom tell her immediately. Things are going well between them until he tells her the truth of the collar and then removes it. Thinking that he doesn’t feel for her what she feels for him, she walks away. He realizes, once she is gone, that she isn’t like the others and that he actually wants more with her. He goes to her apartment to tell her and she agrees to give him a chance. Things only get better from there for them, ending in a true happy ending as they get married and renew their commitment with a new collar.

I was hooked by the blurb to this BDSM romance and wanted to try reading from a new author to me.
Filled with very graphic scenes which were raw while still tasteful, Dom introduced Adley to his world of BDSM. I never really felt the passion from Dom, although there were multiple scenes that described his uncharacteristic behavior towards Adley. There was a remoteness to his personality that didn’t quite convince me of his supposed sincere feelings for Adley.
His assistant who was a submissive seemed to have a better handle on the situation than Dom, which was also kind of odd to me.
Adley, as the sweet willing submissive who had a bit of kink to her was likeable and smart. I liked the way she stood up for herself even though she had fallen completely for Dom and his lifestyle.
Appreciated the lack of cheating and the sweet HEA at the end.

I first read this book in February 2019 (it has been previously published in 2018). Jessica Gadziala is one of my favourite authors and even though I have read this book before, I was excited to read it again. This is not part of her interrelated Navesink Bank collection – which you should really read – but stands alone.
This book is a great toe tip into the world of BDSM, with lighter fare and a good build up giving you plenty of time to get to know the characters. There is great chemistry between the characters and a strong h in the story. Our H also takes a giant leap forward emotionally and I am glad he was able to own up to his mistakes. This is not a roller coaster ride with punishments and misunderstandings but a mature use of the BDSM theme. I do recommend highly.
Small niggles that remain are the missing words or misplaced words that could be sorted by an eagle eyed read through. But this is me being pedantic.
Although I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review, I also own this book since February 2019.
I could not find a good page to truly sink myself into, during the beginning stages of this novel. I like to imagine it in my mind as a movie as the pages turn; however, I never could find footing to actually get that started here with this story. I would possibly like to try again later, hopefully it might be a better fit.

Absolutely love the title and fits the book so well. Orgasm denial is really big in this book and it’s super cool in how Dom goes about it while teaching his new sub. Book was really good! Only problem this couple had was lack of communication skills. Both amazing professionals and one is a Dom in the bdsm community. Yet in training his new sub he lacked the #1 rule communication, but at the same time I think this is what made this such a great book. It shows that no matter who you are, we are all human and we all have our own flaws in life. I am just glad in the end they were able to fix their mistakes and were able to have their hea.

Very interesting plot line, I couldn’t put it down (except when I HAD to, LOL). I liked the chemistry between Adley and Dom. She’s definitely a no nonsense woman and I’m glad he finally got a clue, even if it took a little nudging. Pretty descriptive and I even learned a few things, wink wink.

Do come and read this book if your looking for a sexy BDSM story written in a way that almost anyone could relate to.
In today’s world most women have had to become strong and independent. Financially supporting themselves and enjoying the freedom to make their own choices. Sexually though, some crave to give their desires, and themselves to another in the bedroom. Most never take that step to make that happen… But our heroine Adley, after a night of to much drinking on her 30th birthday, signs herself up to a D/s dating site called Discreet DS Encounters. The next morning she has the usual regrets for making such a bold decision while inebriated but something stops her from immediately canceling her subscription and then she gets her first connection and her life changes.
Our Dom in this story has never had a normal relationship with a woman nor has he ever wanted one. He’s a self made millionaire who craves dominating a woman in the bedroom and showing her pleasure like she never known before. He never keeps one long and is surprised when he finds himself fascinated with Adley to the point of craving her himself.
But can a control freak and a serial playboy keep things just casual, neither falling for the other or wanting more? One or both will have to make a sacrifice.
This was a great unconventional love story that had some humorous witty banter that I loved between the Dom and his male assistant Fagan.
