Summer had always had a huge crush on Matt who is off limits as he is her best friends’ brother, and now they meet again at a Valentine’s day wedding. The chemistry between these two is off the charts, but will they take a chance on each other? No spoilers; this is a must read, you will not be disappointed. This is a well written story which had drama, intrigue, suspense, emotion, and is a sweet and humorous read. I recommend for all readers.
Wonderful Valentines story. Summer is best friends of Matthew’s sister. She’s the Maid of Honor for the wedding that’s on Valentine’s Day. When Summer and Matthew were younger they had a very weird relationship. When they broke up Summer still had a crush on Matthew and after 12 years she sees him again. They get get back together and their chemistry is still off the charts. There was so much intrigue, suspense, tears and love. Great Valentines story for Valentines! An unfinished past has lead to a complicated present. Don’t Be My Valentine should come with a warning label that reads: “Don’t forget to guard your heart.” Wright turns dangerous attraction into heartstopping romance. Summer and Matt are a ball of fire that enjoys the chaos. They are their own worst enemy. From spur of the moment choices, to less than ideal situations and secrets that haunt them at every turn, fate may not be on their side. Hopefully love can see them through the unpredictability that is headed their way. Steamy with a side of sensitive that will keep hearts on the edge.
Where do I begin? Summer has crushed on her besties big brother since they were young. Matthew is the one that took her v-card so long ago and disappeared from her life. A tragedy occurred that broke Matt’s family and not soon after, he enlisted in the military. Now, years later, they meet again for her bestie’s wedding. She is the maid of honor and he is the best man. Summer knows she shouldn’t get involved with him again because he shattered her young heart, but she can’t stop herself. Matt knows Summer and him are not a good idea, but he just can’t stay away. You see their struggle to stay away from each other, but its a lost cause. Then there is bad people lurking, just waiting to come out of the dark to ruin Matt’s sister’s wedding.
The story line was good, I just wish Ms. Wright went into more detail . The beginning started out slow, with holes in the story. You don’t really understand why Matt is constantly pushing Summer away. You never get the full picture since we don’t know the back story. I have to say that this is one of Ms. Wright’s stories I like the least.

Super cute happily ever after set at a best friend/sister’s wedding. She made a promise to never go after the forbidden brother. The Bahamas change everything. A few twist along the way
Aubrey Wright know how to tell a story. Matt and Summer’s love story starts at a young age, but end before it can begin. Through tragedy, rekindling, a rough ending and then a realization life couldn’t be lived without each other the stories end in the best way possible.

Another great read from Aubrey Wright, You will not be disappointed. I couldn’t put the book down. The book starts off with Summer in a hotel room in the Bahamas for her best friends wedding , reflecting on Matt, her best friends brother . The last time she saw him 12 years ago. Where they spent one night together and he the left for the military. She made a promise years with her best friend not to be with her brother. Needless to say her best friend does not know what happened. from page one you will be addicted.
Matt and Summer can not get each other off the minds. Both don’t do relationships or emotions. At first they try to avoid each other. But you can feel the tension between the two. This book has everything ,chemistry, suspense, betrayal, second chance and Hea. A must-read.

Summer and Matt had a fling when she was 18, he took her v-card and disappeared the next day. Matt is Summers best friends older brother so she figured it was for the better even if it hurt a lot. 12 years later they are in the Bahamas for her friends wedding and she is desperate to avoid him. Easier said then done when she still has major feelings for him and he is the best man to her maid of honor. Will they get a HEA, will her secret ruin the wedding? You really gotta read to find out!
I really enjoyed this book. It was a great page turner that I couldn’t put down once I started. The story progresses smoothly and the characters are all well thought out! Grab this one today you won’t regret it!!

Allergic to emotional relationships
And of course, once again… Aubrey Wright can do no wrong! This was another fantastic story, where I can be guaranteed of some drama, with plenty of sweet love and romance, and steam! Whilst all of that was there, the drama was different to anything I’ve read of hers before. It had me worried, but still hopeful…
This is a story about Summer and Matt. Summer was abandoned by her parents at age 12 (heartbreaking for her), and was taken in by her best friend (Emilia’s) family. Matt is also Emilia’s brother. The family endured a huge loss, and this affected everyone.
When Summer was 18, she lost her v-card to Matt, and he left the day after, without a word to her. She was confused and obviously devastated. These feelings of abandonment have never really left her, and it culminated awkwardly, when she’s asked to be Emilia’s maid of honour at her destination wedding in the Bahamas. And guess who the best man is… yep, it’s Matt.
They haven’t seen each other for 12 years, and when they do see each other again (which is a funny situation in itself), many different emotions come to the surface, and get bottled up inside. They try to navigate what will undoubtedly be an uncomfortable week away. And considering the roles they’re playing in the wedding, they won’t be able to avoid each other.
There is a lot going on, with lots of drama, and other people getting in their way. For two people who were thought to be allergic to emotional relationships, they do okay.
There are lovely surprises throughout, and this is a story I would definitely recommend!

Hilarious scene in how this book begins, it shows the characters have chemistry off the charts. I liked that there was more to the story then just dealing with the wedding. Very quick pace with plenty of emotional and fun scenarios. Felt like the ending was a true happy ending for this couple that had so many obstacles to overcome.
