I built myself up from nothing. A product of the foster care system, I learned early on how to fight hard to get what I want. Whether it was starting my first company in college, earning my first billion, or buying my first professional sports team, I know how to get what I want, when I want it.Until now.Willow Monahan is fierce, independent, and hot as hell. She also takes great pleasure in … pleasure in shutting down my advances. The younger sister of one of my star players, Willow intrigues me to my very core. And while she may have willingly given me her body, she is hesitant to offer up more. Now I’m on a mission to find out why.
I’ve decided to approach my desire for Willow like I’ve approached much of my life; with persistence, determination, and a whole lot of that Dominik Carlson alpha charm. Buying a hockey expansion team, building the Arizona Vengeance from the ground up, and bringing home a championship may prove to be an easier feat than winning Willow’s heart.
But I’ve never been a quitter.
Willow Monahan… I’m coming for you.

I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. I love this series, but I’ve always been a little unsure about how I felt about Dominik, apart from the fact that he’s done amazing and caring things for his players.
As I got into this one, I found that I liked Dominik more and more. He really is a caring man, especially given the circumstances of his childhood, and the way things could have turned out for him. Willow was a likeable character as well. I loved having all my favourite characters from the previous books in this one too. These guys really are like a family, and its really fun to continue reading about them as secondary characters in all the books.
I’m not sure that I connected as much with either Dominik or Willow as I have with characters in other books, but I did like the way that their relationship grew and they seemed to mostly talk things out. Until they didn’t really. I’m not too sure how I feel about how everything went down during the inevitable bad section of their relationship near the end of the book. I did however really like the way it all ended, but I wished for a bit more of an epilogue than we got.
I enjoyed reading this one, and whilst not my favourite from this series, it was still a great read. I also really want to read more about Race and Wylde. Love this series and can’t wait for more.
I floved this book!! I have been waiting very impatiently for Dominik and Willow’s turn in the spotlight, and their story did not disappoint in any way.
Dominik is everything I love in a book boyfriend. His personality is a perfect mix of alpha, caring and compassionate, and protector. He takes care of those he loves despite the fact that his upbringing didn’t provide him with stellar family/ examples of love. He is a consummate businessman but with an unexpected background, he does his best to do right by his players despite having to make difficult business decisions, and he does not hesitate to share his wealth with those he deems worthy.
Willow is the definition of independence. She is a photojournalist who travels the world, taking the assignments she wants on her own terms. She has been hurt by an ex fiance in the past which has put her off relationships entirely, but she cannot deny Dominik makes her want to reconsider that decision.
They start off on same page but quickly becomes obvious they could be so much more. This sends Willow running scared of course but Dominik doesn’t take no for an answer. He pursues her doggedly without being an alpha-hole, and I loved that he was all in on trying to convince her that they deserved a chance at more than just friends with benefits. He has made his billions off ability to read people, and it serves him well most of the time when it comes to Willow. Even when he didn’t agree with her, he supported her independence (once he got his mind in the right place). And neither one was shy about their desires or what they wanted.
They both learn to lean on each other to break through their insecurities- although I have to admit I wanted to smack them both in the head a time or two! She predictably acts to spite anyone who tries to tell her what to do or influence her decision, but she is also quick to acknowledge and correct when she knows she has made a mistake. In one of those knee jerk reactions, Willow gets herself into an extremely dangerous situation, and it is an eye opening moment for both her and Dominik.
Amidst the relationship drama, the Vengeance is making a run for the Cup so there is some hockey excitement happening too! Dax is in big brother mode as he watches his boss and sister trying to find their footing, and he has a few hilarious missteps and misunderstandings along the way. The other part of this story that I absolutely adored was the way the team’s first line really came together as a family unit as much as teammates, and they included Dominik in that camaraderie.
So all in all, Dominik is a really great read that still has me smiling!! Be sure to get your 1-click finger in action for this book.

Dominik has been tantalizing me throughout this series, and he is finally here and his story did not disappoint! Dominik is the team owner of the Arizona Vengeance. He cares deeply for his team and has had their backs through all their ups and downs, offering unconditional support. He has also had his sights set on Dax’s sister, Willow, but she doesn’t seem interested in him. He is intrigued by not only her exotic beauty, but also her confidence, and stubborn independence. Willow is trying to keep her distance from the charming, kind, commanding man because of the danger he poses to her heart. She gives in to a short term affair, with boundaries, while the Vengeance are in the playoffs. But when the boundaries get crossed, this stubborn woman acts without thought of safety and could jeopardize it all. Dominik will totally make you swoon and fall in love! He has his faults but are nothing compared to his kind, generous, thoughtful heart. Willow and he make the perfect couple and team and their chemistry is off the charts! I love this series so much and it was so much fun catching up with the other team mates and the women who love them. They really are a fun, sassy, supportive family. Bennett has a thrilling twist toward the end that will take your breath away and make you even more excited for what comes next!
This story is brought to life beautifully by the very talented narrators, Christian Fox, and Erin Mallon. They smoothly amplified each character, making them even more rich and endearing. Fox was exceptional as he brought out the range of emotions that Dominik experienced from his desire for family, need to care for others, and struggling to convince Willow to love and trust him without making her bolt. Mallon embodied Hannah’s strength, sass, and vulnerability flawlessly. She was magnificent and had my heart racing as she described the action during the championship games, and the other harrowing events as well! Both narrators have a wonderful range of voices and expressions that I absolutely loved getting lost in and make this story even better.
I loved this fun, sexy and passionate story and series! I can’t get enough of these sexy hockey players and the women who challenge and love them!
I was really looking forward to Dominick’s story and there was no disappointment there. The man was a complete mystery even when he was clear and direct about his attraction to Willow. I really liked how the book portrayed that his value is bigger than the fortune he has. I was ready to shake Willow into reasoning because you do NOT let a man like that go for anyone to grab. Her hangups were giving me hives lol. But nothing good is easy coming and it’s exactly what these two have. Only thing about the book that bugged me a little, was having every player’s background explained from different POVs. It made it repetitive and made me feel like precious time was wasted from their own story. BUT in reality, their story doesn’t need embellishments and it’s direct, just like Dominik, so nothing takes away from how good it is. It’s perfect for them.

I feel like I have been waiting for Dominik’s story for awhile now….I have wanted to read his story since we met him in the beginning of the series.
I was not disappointed in his story at all!!! I loved Dominik and Willow’s story. This story was slightly different from the others in this series, because we get the behind the scenes story of hockey and what it’s like to be an owner of the team. We get all the hockey jargon we come to expect in this series, but just not from the players aspect. I know that might sound confusing, but once you read this book you will understand.
I have been a HUGE fan of the Arizona Vengeance from the very first book and this series just gets better and better the more books we get. What I loved with this book was how some of Sawyer’s other series were brought into this story. We get reference to Cold Fury Hockey team and the Jameson Security Force. No you don’t have to read those other series to enjoy this book, but it was cool how it all connected.
Dominik is the 6th book in this series. I am happy to say, that I thought this was the last book of this series, but after reading this story, I thrilled to see we are getting 2 more books and a novella. I am not done with these hockey players and the women they fall for. This book is a standalone novel, but I think this series needs to be read in order. This book flashes onto parts of the other books, so there could be some spoilers if you read these books out of order. This story is told in Dual POV. I thought the flow and pace worked well. I will say I did think the ending was slightly rushed, but it didn’t take away from my enjoyment of this series. As with all of the books in this series, Sawyer gives us the perfect mix of emotion, hockey and sexy times.
If you are a sports romance lover, than the Arizona Vengeance is a team you want to meet. I have to say I am loving these Vengeance Players better than her Cold Fury. There is just something about these characters that suck me in and I feel connected to them. I love their bond with each other also. I love how this bond also extends to the team owner. You can just see how much they each care for each other.
In this book we follow Dominik and Willow’s story. Dominik is the owner of the Arizona Vengeance hockey team. He has his heart set on his team winning the Cup this year but more than that he is determined to win the heart of Willow Monahan. Willow is sister of Dax (one of the hockey players) She is a photojournalist and loves to take risks when it comes to her job. What she won’t risk is her heart, after being hurt in the past. So she has her walls put in place. Dominik has made it no secret he is after Willow and is trying to ware her down. Can Dominik get past Willow’s walls and win her heart?? Will they get their HEA?? Read this book to find out.
I loved getting more of the other players and their women in this story. I am also excited to read the remaining books in this series.
If you are a fan of Carly Phillips books, you want to read this book/series. This is the perfect series for any sports romance lover to read. You will totally get swept up in their stories and lives.

I have been waiting for more with the Vengeance team owner, Dominik Carlson and Dax’s sister, Willow Monahan. They shared a couple of sexy times and Dominik is in pursuit. But Willow is playing a game of cat and mouse.
Dominik is insanely wealthy, confident, charismatic, generous, and kind-hearted. But he is also a commanding alpha who likes control. He is used to getting what he wants.
Willow is fiercely independent, intelligent, stubborn, and an adrenaline junkie. She thrives in her job as a photographic journalist where she can be put into dangerous situations. But she has walls guarding her heart, fears, and is relationship averse. She enjoyed their quick frolic, but is insistent she does not want more. But he meets her challenge and convinces her to extend their no-strings fun times at least through the playoffs.
But their volatile chemistry and compatibility in the bedroom is not the only attraction. They find themselves connecting and enjoying each other’s company as well. But they both have issues with trust, taking risks, and pushing their boundaries. And Willow is strongwilled and does not like being told how to live her life. And she seems to keep herself in denial to avoid facing the hard truths.
It is intense, sexy, and at times emotional. I liked both Dominik and Willow, and enjoyed their dynamic and chemistry. But with that being said they both did frustrate me sometimes and made me want to shake sense into them. Much of their conflict came from fears, trust and communication issues, unclear goals, and sheer stubbornness. And he sometimes seemed to use sex to control her, but also was more aware of his feelings and needs. They definitely challenged and pushed each other, but were not always on the same page. And their reactions could be swift and painful.
This brings back all of the Arizona Vengeance and their significant others, and a visit with the Cold Fury and even some Jameson Security. It is playoff time so hockey is featured more in this one than some of the others. I felt like I was in the owner’s box watching the exciting games sometimes. I have come to love this Vengeance group as much as the Cold Fury. I am looking forward to more with Wylde, Kane, and Rafe.

When an author writes a sports series there are usually just stories about the players and their lives. But author Sawyer Bennett has taken this one a step farther with this series. In this story, we get the owner of the Arizona Vengeance, Dominik Carlson and this story is just as yummy as the man himself.
Dominik Carlson has made himself what he is today. He owns several sports teams and when he wants something, he goes after it. When he met Willow, the sister of one of his players, the passion between them was explosive and he hasn’t found it with anyone else. He knows she is going to be back in Pheonix for the play-offs, so he texts her. But she doesn’t answer him. It is like she is playing hard to get.
Willow Monahan is an independent, fierce woman that doesn’t answer to anyone. But she is afraid of the feelings that Dominik makes her feel. She ignores his text because she knows if she sees him again, her heart is on the line and she can not go through another heartbreak because Dominik is a player, he has many women at his disposal.
Can Dominik convince Willow that they are made for each other? That they can have a relationship without either of them getting hurt? Will Willow continue with her dangerous job even though Dominik asks her not to? Will the Vengeance make it through the playoffs and win the championship trophy?
I have been intrigued by the little bit of Dominik in each story and was so glad the author decided to write his own story. I am even more in love with him now, I love this story even more than the rest of the series. I highly recommend you read it, grab a blanket, something to drink and a quiet corner and enjoy all the deliciousness that is Dominik Carlson.

Dominik’s story blew me away!
We learn so much about the elusive owner of the Arizona Vengeance hockey team and his pursuit of Willow.
How do I even begin to describe the myriad of emotions this book drew out of me. My heart was hammering in certain parts and with the great banter and steamy moments as well, the storyline was captivating!
Willow is a really sassy woman, and to be quite frank, she does what she wants when she wants and no one tells her what to do, it’s a woman’s prerogative, though, right?
Dominik seems to get through to her in a sense and his alpha side is incredibly hot. But when something doesn’t go how you think it will, who is the first to put up walls.
This book was absolutely amazing! Heart pounding!!! Intriguing and with a great sense of family. Well played Ms Bennett, well flipping played!!
AUDIOBOOKS REVIEW:
Dominik is narrated by Christian Fox who I have never listened to before and I have found a new narrator whose voice is dreamy and just works so incredibly well as Dominik! He told the story so well you cant help but want the characters to be real!! LolI thought Erin did a good job narrating too.I thought this audiobook was amazing to listen to and even gave me goosebumps in certain parts!I love the dynamic of the story! The way the characters interacted and how Dominik and Willow develop their friendship!I love this story so very much and the audio was entertaining to listen to!Thank you to the narrators for amazing work!
I’ve been dying for this book since the first glimpse of Dominik and Willow. (But if you’re new to the Vengeance don’t worry, they can all be read as standalones) I’m happy to report Dominik did not disappoint. He was everything a sexy, alpha billionaire should be but with a backstory I was not expecting. I really wanted to shake Willow at times but got through it. All in all this was another great time with the Vengeance crew.
I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Dominik’s story. The enigmatic team owner with a heart of gold has intrigued me from the start of the Arizona Vengeance series. I loved finally getting into his head and finding out more about his past. This is book 6 in the series, but can be read as a standalone. Previous couples and characters do appear, however, so the book would best be enjoyed in order.
The back and forth between Dominik and Willow was great and I really enjoyed the chase. Both are very sexually open and free and I appreciated that the author celebrated this. Dominik and Willow had fantastic chemistry and I loved that once they enter into their arrangement, they only have eyes for each other. Yes, there’s the inevitable push away as things develop into more (which honestly made me want to smack some sense into the characters), but I loved how much they truly saw the other. I enjoyed this one a lot, but did wish for more exploration into Dominik and Willow’s relationship.
The book told Dominik and Willow’s story, but in many ways it also felt like a big Arizona Vengeance hug. The previous couples and characters make numerous appearances and play an integral part in the story. Even if you haven’t read those books, the author does an excellent job getting you up to speed so that you can appreciate the camaraderie and friendship between these characters. I especially loved the surprise cross-overs between Sawyer Bennett’s other worlds and how it tied everyone together. The stage is now set for Wylde to take a huge fall (into love) in the next book and I can’t wait!

*I voluntarily read an advance review copy of this book*
Let’s just say I LOVE DOMINIK CARLSON. He is the most generous, loving, caring multimillionaire, oops sorry, billionaire ever. He is not only an owner of the Arizona Vengeance but a part of a family. The support he lends to his players. The man is a saint. His childhood wasn’t easy and he was able to make something of himself. He treats these men and their families as though they are a part of himself. He is by far the best male character Sawyer Bennett has ever written.
Willow has relationship issues and has given Dominik a run for his money. She is not looking for anything other than a quick roll in the hay. She doesn’t want to be tied down. She is her own person and no one is going to tell her what to do. Yes her job can be dangerous but it is her dream job and she will do as she sees fit. Dominik has been attracted to her since they first met and cannot get her out of his head. He often involves his players on her whereabouts, especially Dax, Willow’s brother.
Willow and Dominik are explosive together. What started as just between the sheets now has grown to quiet conversations and time spent together outside the bedroom. But can Dominik break down Willow’s walls and allow her heart to feel? Can she open up to him and accept a future with him?
It seems like I’ve been waiting forever to get my hands on Dominik’s story and wow it was definitely worth the wait! The owner of the Arizona Vengeance is so swoon worthy,he’s kind, caring and sexy with a delicious wicked charm. Willow is everything he didn’t know he needed in his life. Their story is fast paced, but gives you plenty of background on how they were both shaped to become the beautiful people they are. It’s fun, sexy romance with plenty of spice and a glimpse into previous characters we’ve come to love.
Wow! I fell in love with Dominik! And Willow will make you want to reach out and hug her! 5 hockey pucks for this one! Sawyer knows her hockey stuff!
Dominik is the owner of the Arizona Vengeance, and he’s made it known to pretty much all the team that he wants Dax’s sister Willow, and he will stop at nothing to have her! Meanwhile Willow’s guarded, she’s been hurt before. She’s a photo journalist and travels all over the world to war torn countries, and is in somewhat danger at times, yet she has never told her family this fact, she doesn’t want them to worry.
When Dominik finds out what her job entails, he wants nothing more than to protect her, but he can’t keep her from doing what she loves.
When these two get together, there are sparks, and lot’s of hot nights! Watch their relationship grow as you read their story! Grab this asap!
This book is so good! Willow is Dax’s (player on the Vengeance hockey team) sister and freelances for papers in some of the worst war zones. She loves it. She is back at Dax’s house to watch the team playoffs. Dominik, the owner of the Arizona Vengeance loves to drive Dax crazy trying to find out when his sister will be back. Dax thinks Dominik is a player and he doesn’t want Dominik hurting Willow so he does everything he can to ignore him.
Dominik is a good man, and I am so glad to see that he is a better person for what he went through when he was young. All through the series he has personally helped some of the players. He believes his team is a family and will do whatever he can to help them. He may be rich, but he is a giving man who helps so many people and groups. I can’t help but admire him. Willow is a stubborn woman who doesn’t want any man telling her what to do. She had a bad experience with an ex fiancé and is afraid to trust another man with her heart. You can imagine that this can be a problem in a relationship. Nothing in the lives of the Vengeance team has gone easy in the romance area, and the same is true for Willow and Dominik. I so loved the book, and strongly encourage you to read it. I was given a copy of the book and voluntarily wrote a review.
Dominik is the owner of the Arizona Vengeance, a hockey team. He is a self made billionaire, anything he wants is his for the asking, everything except for Willow. Willow is fiercely independent, unafraid of anything except having her heart broken. These two together sets off fireworks. I love their story, I love them together. A stand-alone book in the Arizona Vengeance series.
Review copy was received for a honest opinion.
Dominik was everything i thought it would be and more!! Exciting and captivating! Explosive! A great reunion, championship, and love, made for a book that will leave you smiling and your heart full! Such an incredible journey! Fantastic book!! Looking forward to the next character in the Arizona Vengeance!!
I’ve been highly anticipating Dominik’s book and boy oh boy it did not disappoint; in fact, I didn’t want to put it down…..consumed, 100% consumed by this story! Dominik and Willow were absolutely exquisite with their explosive chemistry, steamy romance and tell-it-like-it-is banter. This book had me laughing, smiling, crying and swooning for a couple that had me so immersed in their story that I was begging for their happily ever after! If you love the Arizona Vengeance series as much as I do then you definitely want to read this book. An INCREDIBLE story and a MUST READ book!
We have met the players of the Arizona Vengeance now it’s time to read about their Amazing Owner Dominik Carlson. A self-made billionaire he is a hands on owner of the new expansion team in Arizona and his story is one that will be incredible for anyone to experience but what he wants more than to lead this team to the Stanley Cup is the sister of one of his players Willow Monahan.
Willow Monahan is a tough young woman, she is a photo journalist in some of the most dangerous areas in the world, someone who will do anything when it comes to her family and will hold her heart closed off to any serious relationships but when she meets Dominik she knows he can be dangerous to everything she believes in.
Dominik & Willow have that explosive kind of chemistry that will have you turning the pages faster to see where it will take you. They will have to overcome fears & trusts but anyone reading this couple know that they will be Amazing together once they figure it all out and then hopefully they can say we will have that HEA that we deserve.
Dominik does not disappoint. From alpha playboy to just alpha, he hooks Willow and they begin a just for fun relationship. That quickly morphs into more as their chemistry is off the charts, both in and out of the bedroom. Another win for this series!
What can be said about Dominik Carson, he is smart, rich, sexy, a player and he loves his players which is family and he is infatuated with Willow, Dax’s sister. What started out has a one night affair, turned hot fast and furious. Willow is a photojournalist who travels to dangerous regions in the world. Dominik met her one nigh and they had this one night stand, that kept haunting him. The same could be said for Willow, but she has major trust issues and doesn’t want to get hurt ever again. Dominik pursues Willow but she doesn’t reciprocate until they come to an understanding and not make this more that it is. An affair! Soon they get to know each other and develops feelings but are they reciprocated? Will Willow finally let herself trust again? The story is action packed and is based around the hockey playoffs and all of our fabulous players are at the rendez vous! Another fascinating story from Sawyer Bennett. Now, who iss the next to fall??? I honestly volunteered to read and review this amazing story
