I built myself up from nothing. A product of the foster care system, I learned early on how to fight hard to get what I want. Whether it was starting my first company in college, earning my first billion, or buying my first professional sports team, I know how to get what I want, when I want it.Until now.Willow Monahan is fierce, independent, and hot as hell. She also takes great pleasure in … pleasure in shutting down my advances. The younger sister of one of my star players, Willow intrigues me to my very core. And while she may have willingly given me her body, she is hesitant to offer up more. Now I’m on a mission to find out why.
I’ve decided to approach my desire for Willow like I’ve approached much of my life; with persistence, determination, and a whole lot of that Dominik Carlson alpha charm. Buying a hockey expansion team, building the Arizona Vengeance from the ground up, and bringing home a championship may prove to be an easier feat than winning Willow’s heart.
But I’ve never been a quitter.
Willow Monahan… I’m coming for you.

Domink! If there’s one character that I’ve crushed on and waited forever for, it’s Domink. It’s hard not to love him or crush on him throughout the Arizona Vengeance series. To see him finally find love was everything that I wanted, and everything I never knew that I wanted.
Domink’s soft side, concealed by his alpha male exterior, is heartbreaking when it clashes against Willow’s need for independence. Honestly, my heart broke for both of these two at times. SB does a great job of fleshing out these characters, because I could really feel for both of them, and, of course, I was rooting for them both. It’s just that kind of story–the characters pull you in all directions before the final, satisfying end.
With DOMINIK, the sixth book in her Arizona Vengeance series, Sawyer Bennett brings us the scorching hot story of team owner Dominik and the sister of one of his players! We’ve seen the hinting in a previous book or two about their hook-ups, but nothing has prepared us for this hunky man.
Dominik built himself up from nothing, and he appreciates every single minute of his life. He’s suave, he’s dashing and he’s utterly charming in how much he just plain cares about his employees, friends and team members. I adored him!
Willow just needs someone to wallop her with a pillow a time or two. She has a bit of a past that we haven’t heard about previously and she is living in her head way too much and about to miss out on this dream of a man who is really into her. It all starts as a good time, but before long it’s more serious than anything they’ve ever experienced.
I highly recommend this book and the entire series. It’s not only explosive hockey, but this team is filled with drama, love and friendship. I leave every book hoping that the next isn’t too far down the road. Highly recommend the Arizona Vengeance!
The Arizona Vengeance return with the sixth installment in the series. Dominik is a hockey sports romance that can be read as a standalone or as part of the larger series and is told from the first-person point of view of the hero and heroine.
Dominik has worked hard for his success and knows how to get what he wants. His Cinderella expansion team, The Arizona Vengeance, is making history by competing for the Stanley Cup but there is one thing he can not seem to complete the deal with and that is the sister of his star forward, Willow Monahan. Willow is a strong, independent woman who loves her dangerous career as a photojournalist but when Dominik rocks her world and is persistent in pursuing her, she finds it difficult to stay away but is determined to keep her heart out of it. Willow Monahan, Dominik is coming for you.
OMG!!!! The Arizona Vengeance is back! Dominik was such an amazing novel and hit all of the emotions from happy, angry, anxious to happy and sad tears. Dominik and Willow are both more complex then we are first lead to believe, their chemistry was explosive and hot and their pursuit of happiness was relentless. I loved the tie ins to the Carolina Cold Fury and Jameson Force Security. I can not wait to continue with Sawyer Bennett’s novels.
*I was provided with an arc in exchange for my honest review*
I was so excited for Dominik’s story and it didn’t disappoint, I was captivated from the first page to the last line. It was always going to take a special strong independent woman to tame this hero and Willow Monaghan is just perfect and exactly what Dominick needs.
Dominik may be in control of the Arizona Vengeance Hockey Team and be may like to think he is in control when it comes to his love life but Willow certainly gives him a run for his money, he needs to fight for what he wants and she won’t give it easily…..
The chemistry between these two is off the charts, it’s scorching hot, the banter is witty and it flows so naturally and it’s great to see these two battle for control in their relationship. This book ticked all my boxes, it was everything I expected and more and even though I have said it before after reading this story I’m left with a new favourite member of the Arizona Vengeance only difference this time it’s the owner and not a player who stole my heart. Looking forward to more from the very talented Sawyer Bennett and her hot hockey teams….
Dominik is the 6th book in the Arizona Vengeance series and this time it is Team Owner Dominik Carlson’s turn for a story and he is after Willow Monahan the sister of Dax Monahan the star left-winger on the Arizona Vengeance team. Each of the stories in the Arizona Vengeance series can be read as standalones but why would you when you know your reading will be greatly enhanced by knowing each and every member of this team. I love reading about all their lives! No cliffhangers at the end and guaranteed HEA’s! At least there have been so far!
Dominik could be a scrooge after-all he is a billionaire but he isn’t! He gifts money, lots of money to a place where he grew up. He takes unprivileged kids to his games where he flies them in and puts them up in hotels. He wants kids to see what they can do for themselves. Just so they know they can make it in the world. When one of the team members comes to him and needs help Dominik thinks about how to handle it best after all he wants to make money but he thought it out and approached it in the best way possible!
Willow isn’t ready for a full on relationship. She has been burned and doesn’t want to go through it again. She just can’t say the words he wants to hear, to the point of break-up.
This is a sexy heartfelt story and Sawyer Bennett has written a story that I couldn’t put down, even when I was at work. I fit it in every second that I could!
Dominik is a book written even for people who don’t like sports romances. I thought I was one of those people. But between Sawyer Bennett and another author that I love I may be a convert! Because it isn’t about the sport, it’s about the romance story..
Rafe’s story is next in this series. Coming soon!
It’s no secret that I am a HUGE Hockey Romance Lover and that I will always willingly and happily ARC any book from this trope that I can get my greedy little hands on. So when the opportunity to read this book presented itself, I jumped at the chance.
I absolutely love Samantha Whiskey’s Cold Fury and Arizona Vengeance sports series and have read each and every book. “Dominik” Book 6 focuses on Arizona Vengeance’s self made billionaire owner. He is an incredibly sexy, put together, generous and loving man. Having spent his teen years in the foster care system forced him to grow up and become the man that he is. Willow is a photojournalist, the sister of one of the team’s key players. She’s a commitment phobic adrenaline junkie.
The chemistry between these two dynamic and diverse people is off the charts and forces them to rethink and overcome their personal issues. Their love story is far from problem free, full of give and take, push and pull moments that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat. TBR this fantastic addition to Sawyer Bennett’s impressive body of work and enjoy!
***4.5 Stars***
To say I was all kinds of excited to get my hands on Dominik’s book is an understatement. Ever since first meeting the owner of the Vengeance I’ve wanted to know more and this book gave me all I wanted and more of not only the man himself, but Willow and the men and women who make up the Vengeance family and has left me quite happy and wanting more of this series.
I loved Dominik and Willow. Dominik is an amazing man who is not only ruthless in business and in his life, but compassionate as well ~ which is a heady combination. He is relentless when he has a goal ~ something that can make him blind in certain areas, but he is always honest in his desires. Willow is feisty and fearless ~ in most ways at least. I loved her passion for the work she did, as well as her love for her family and those she called her own.
The journey Dominik and Willow go on to get to their HEA was an enjoyable one, frustrating at times, but enjoyable. The battle of wills between these two was strong and they both had quite a few walls to climb. To be honest, I didn’t favor one over the other ~ for the most part ~ because they both tripped themselves up in equal measure, but I liked how they worked through it all. Though I will say that last thing was a pretty big doozy and even I was like “oh…okay…how is this one going to work out. But in the end I loved how everything worked out for them because they had a flow that worked for me and fit together perfectly.
But while I enjoyed the crazy dance that Dominik and Willow took me on, a good portion of my enjoyment of this book was the Vengeance family as a whole. As you know, I’m all about well written secondary characters and LOVE it when I get to spend time with them ~ whether they are new or if they’ve been around forever and this baby is chock full of this goodness…and then some. And let me tell you, the ‘and then some’ was definitely a surprise. But as far as the Vengeance go. Tacker is still my fav, the man makes me all kinds of twitterpated, but I loved catching up with everyone and cannot wait to get my hands on the next book so I can spend more time with them all.

After first meeting Dominik and him first meeting Willow I have been dying for this story, probably along with everyone else who has been reading this series, and it does not disappoint. Their story was everything I could have hoped for and so much more.
Dominik is the billionaire owner of the Arizona Vengeance. Willow is the sister of one of his star players and she wants nothing to do with him. This only makes Dominik work harder to get her attention. Willow doesn’t do relationships, especially after her past. She is an independent woman who travels the world for a living.
Dominik and Willow have some INSANE chemistry. Everything about their relationship is explosive. Dominik is the perfect combination of alpha, protective, possessive and super sweet man who will do anything to put a smile on Willow’s face.
Of course, if you have been following the series from the start there is plenty of the previous crew and their significant others, plus some new members of the team that I can’t wait to get to know in future books. I also loved the crossover from other Sawyer Bennett books.
Dominik is another great addition to the Arizona Vengeance series. A MUST READ!
I finally got the chance to finish up Dominik, and I enjoyed it. Dominik may not be my favorite guy of the group, but he’s definitely unique. I’ll be honest and admit it took me a bit to get into his character and root for him. I wasn’t always nuts about his alpha ways, but that’s just me and my preference. He has a big heart and is very giving and caring and I loved getting to see that side of him. He’s a genuine guy who cares for his team’s wellbeing. I love how involved he is. He makes a genuine effort to get to know his team, and their loved ones, and do whatever he can to help them. That’s probably my favorite thing about him. Willow is a strong woman who doesn’t back down from her stance/opinion. In a way she’s the female version of Dominik and maybe that’s why they work so well. She gets to take a step back when she’s with him and let him take the lead. There were definitely a few surprising parts to the storyline and a few emotional ones too. I liked the short crossover of this series with Jameson, despite how it occurs. I love this group of characters and can’t wait for more! *I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.*
We have been getting little snippets of Dominik from all the previous books, as he is the owner of the Arizona Vengeance hockey team. He is a man of many skills and has learnt some of them from experience with his hard upbringing. He is a determined and formidable businessman who has a side of compassion that is tender and sexy. He knows what he wants and not only for his sports teams but also for himself. Once he sets eyes on Willow, he hones in for what he initially thinks will be a night of fun. Spending time with her though shows him how similar they are and how compatible a couple they could be.
Willow is a self employed photojournalist who loves her job immensely even if it is unconventional. Nothing and no one can dictate to her if she should take these dangerous assignments. She too thought she would have a night of pleasure with her brothers boss and move on like she normally does. Slowly but surely she can see that Dominik is one to take a chance of love on.
What I loved about this book was that this couple had commitment issues for different reasons and the way it is played out for us had me wishing and hoping for the best outcome. Once you have been burnt from a relationship, it’s not easy to let those walls down and I felt for Willow when she found it hard to comprehend her feelings entirely. My heart also aches for Dominik when he thought they weren’t on the same page. And the way he goes about recovering their relationship – swoon! The man goes to great lengths for her. These two are so comparable together. They both like to have control but they compliment each other’s strengths and weaknesses that make them my now favorite couple in this series. I also got a kick out of the three way cross over from Sawyer’s books. It links the two hockey series together as well as her Code Name: series which I’m throughly enjoying too.
This is book #6, in the Arizona Vengeance series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For read understanding, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this hot series in order.
Willow is not often in one place. Busy making her career matter, she is stopping for just a short while to watch her brother play in the playoffs. Rooting him on is a joy, and one she won’t miss. There is only one catch – Dominik will be there.
Dominik gets hot all over just thinking about the last time he was alone with Willow. She classifies as both the forbidden, and the one that got away. If only he can get her alone again he can show her more reason to stay.
This book started off with the heat kind of sizzling of the pages and wafting up to me, the reader. I love how the strong attraction was only a piece of the puzzle. This author is wonderful at giving us seriously complicated and sexy-as-hell characters. What a great combination with these two! So hard to put down. So I read as fast as I could to get to the conclusion.

We have all lusted after the players and now we can drool over the hot, alpha owner of the Arizona Vengeance Hockey Team – Dominik Carlson. Dominik and Willow Monahan – yes – the baby sister of one of Dominik’s key players – decide that their time spent together between the sheets is all part of their no strings agreement both come away satisfied. But when jealousy and emotions start getting involved in the mix they both are left feeling shell shocked. When the steaks become to high is walking away the only answer? Or will they finally understand that there are definite strings involved? Each book in this series gets better and better. Each character is so much more than what they seem and Sawyer Bennett has a knack for not only making them characters you cannot help but fall in love with but also stories that you cannot put down. Cannot wait for more!!
4.5 stars-DOMINIK is the sixth instalment in Sawyer Bennett’s contemporary, adult ARIZONA VENGEANCE, erotic, hockey romance series focusing on the professional hockey team the Arizona Vengeance-a spin off from the author’s Carolina Cold Fury Hockey series. This is billionaire businessman and team owner Dominik Carlson, and photojournalist Willow Monahan’s story line. DOMINIK can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary. There is a slight cross-over with the author’s Cold Fury, and Jameson Force Security series. Willow is Arizona Vengeance left winger Dax Monahan’s sister.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Willow and Dominik) DOMINIK follows the building romance and relationship between billionaire businessman and team owner Dominik Carlson, and photojournalist Willow Monahan. Willow Monahan and Dominik Carlson met months before but Willow’s job takes her to some of the most dangerous places in the world. While Willow struggles with Dominik’s attention, Dominik finds himself pulled into the aura that is our story line heroine but when Dominik discovers the truth about Willow’s dangerous career, Dominik battles between head and heart when it comes to Willow’s security and safety. What ensues is the building romance between Willow and Dominik, and the potential fall-out as Willow is unable to let go of the past, a past that affects every relationship going forward.
Willow Monahan doesn’t do relationships; she has been burned in the past and refuses to look towards a future with Dominik Carlson. Dominik wants something more from our story line heroine but his own happily ever after was not in the cards. Refusing to step back from the dangerous situations, Willow is willing to risk her own life when things begin to spiral out of her control.
The relationship between Dominik and Willow is one of immediate attraction but Willow is all about her independence and freedom, an independence that places Willow in the direct line of fire. Dominik struggles with the danger and life threatening work of which Willow is involved but his personal fear is a warning signal to Willow Callahan who refuses to step back or step down as it pertains to her career. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters including all of the previous story line couples, as well as Rafe Simmons, and Aaron Wylde; and the Monahan clan.
DOMINIK continues to focus on the run for the championship; the camaraderie of friendship and players on the Arizona Vengeance; and the personal lives and fall-out of illness and injury. The premise is engaging and engrossing; the characters are stubborn, strong and sensitive; the romance is spicy and spirited. DOMINIK is a captivating and compelling addition to the Arizona Vengeance hockey romance series.
Absolutely amazing!! I couldn’t give this anything less than 5 stars. I had been waiting for Dominik and Willow’s story. She spent so much time avoiding Dominik that I HAD to see how this all plays out. And I wasn’t disappointed!
This is the sixth book in the Arizona Vengeance series. Although it’s a standalone novel, I suggest reading at least Dax, which is when we really see Dominik and Willow, Dax’s sister. I’ve been intrigued by them for the past couple of books. Willow is very independent, is a photo journalist, in which does what she wants. Dominik is a billionaire, who donates a lot of money to different causes and really cares about the players of his hockey team. They both are relationship shy and start out with a mutual beneficial arrangement. I loved seeing them together and how they fall for each other. Why only three stars? I felt like there were a lot of issues the last few chapters of the book and it went by quickly. I just felt like we should have seen more discussion and their issues sorted out. Personally, I just wanted more for the end of the story. I’m enjoying this series and can’t wait to read the next one.
Oh my wow! I absolutely love, adore, cherish and totally swoon for Dominik Carlson! I have been anxiously awaiting this sexy, alpha, intriguing and self made man’s story for what seems like forever. As we know, he is the owner of the Arizona Vengeance. Let me just say this: It Did Not Disappoint!!! Dominik is everything I knew he was from the books we’ve gotten to know him a little bit in so far, but he is so very much more than just that man. His back story was not even close to what I expected and it made me love him even more. Everything he does for people makes me love him even more than that.
If there was ever a perfect woman created for him, it is most definitely Willow Monahan! She is sassy, strong willed and tough and all the things Dominik seems to be drawn to. She is also one of his player’s, Dax’s little sister. Dominik has been chasing Willow for a while now and once he catches her all bets are off. They seem to be sort of on the same page at first with what they do and do not want but things quickly change between them as they discover just how deep their feelings go and how great they are together. They have explosive chemistry that is too great to deny and it is a pleasure to watch them navigate through their feelings and even some intense situations.
Dominik was totally worth the wait!!
To say the latest from Sawyer Bennett made me so happy to read would be an understatement.
I knew I liked Dominik when we were first introduced to him in Bishop’s book and then to see what he has done throughout the series I just fell for him more and more. So when we finally got his book and to see who he is and how he treats those he loves – wow Dominik’s book is as perfect as they come in my opinion.
Willow is a perfect woman for Dominik – women in her own right she does what she wants but loves her family immensely. Willow knew that a relationship with Dominik would be intense and she was not wrong. Together they are fantastic and I loved the story Ms. Bennett weaved for them. I also like the tie into her other series’ (Cold Fury and Jameson Force) there are some tie ins that help set up the other series – 1 in particular that in no way I want to spoil.
All in all, Dominik is another great addition to the Arizona Vengeance series – Ms. Bennett hits it out of the park.
Hot Billionaire with a heart of gold who could turn down that? Well one woman did more than once..
I couldn’t wait for Dominik and Dax’s sisters story. Dominik is the owner of Arizona Vengeance hockey team so he has popped up in the plot a time or two throughout the series. I have read most of the previous books and you could see that Dominik, although a serial dater definitely had his sights set on Willow being his next conquest.
There’s a role reversal in this book, Willow isn’t the kind of person who wants to settle down, she travels the world putting herself in dangerous situations as a journalist and gets her sexual kicks from one night stands, so she caves at Dominik’s advances for a night together meaning for it to only be one night and end his endless pursuit but Dominik after one taste, wants more.
Dominik and Willow are hot!
Both of these characters are fiery and sexual, I loved the progression of them becoming more than just “sex” giving into their hangups and doubts.
A great addition to the series, Dominik was more than I had hoped for despite me wanting to slap him up the head at one point in the story.
A great series, I can’t recommend it enough and these guys are a unit with a family bond, not just a team, love them.
Sawyer Bennett writes brilliantly, there’s always something more pulling you forward keeping you turning the pages, I love a roller-coaster ride read and she never disappoints.
DOMINIK can be read as a standalone but starting the first in the series is recommended to avoid little spoilers of who is with whom and how they get there as some scenes do include characters from the other books. Told in first person dual pov and leads to a hea
Dominik has been my most anticipated Arizona Vengeance book boyfriend to date, and no! Not because he’s a multi millionaire (whoops sorry billionaire), no, because under his tough playboy exterior, he has a heart of gold, he’s caring and generous with his employees and team. All this is confirmed upon reading his story. I also found out he’s a god in bed, and after devouring every word in this addictive, sexy, action packed (it is the run for the coveted Stanley Cup after all) romance, I think I have to say he has earned the position of my most favourite. He’s a go-getter, and Willow Monaghan, is what he wants, he’s made that blatantly obvious. He says it as it is, and he’s sexy as all hell. He just needs to get Willow on the same page, and he’s got his work cut out for him. What a story, we get to meet a whole host of Sawyer Bennett’s previous heroes, and let’s not forget the heroine, from previous stories, and I’m not just talking hockey. A super favourite five star read for me, I was addicted from the first page, such an entertaining story, the hockey was front and centre, but a whole host of other things were happening alongside. What a wonderful couple Willow and Dominik could be if they just took that leap. I was desperate for Willow to see exactly what was in front of her. Team Dominik right here. I did not want this story to end. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.
**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title in exchange for an honest review**
There are those books that you just wait for and Dominik was definitely one of those for me! We’ve gotten glimpses of him in previous Arizona Vengeance books and as the owner of the team, you knew that he was going to go after what he wanted regardless of what the stakes were and that he did!
Dominik Carlson did not have the easiest upbringing. He ended up in the foster care system just as he was about to enter his teens and he remained there until he turned 18. He learned a lot of lessons during that time and when he got to college, he found a way with a buddy to recreate himself and thus turn himself into a billionaire. Now, as the owner of the Arizona Vengeance, he’s got his eye on the sister of one of his players and she is having none of it!
Willow Monahan as independent, fierce and driven as women come. She’s a photojournalist who has found her assignments taking her to dangerous locations, but that is part of what she loves about it. She’s not had it great where relationships are concerned, so when she is pursued by Dominik, she’s definitely attracted, and would be down for bedroom activities, but that’s as far as she’s willing to go.
As Dominik and Willow spend time together, their “relationship” starts out as strictly physical, but is it really going to stay that way? They talk, eat and generally enjoy one another’s company. Will Dominik be able to break through the walls that she has erected after her last relationship ended?
These two were amazing. Dominik is willing to fight for what he wants, he’s totally alpha and I loved how he knew just how to handle Willow. I also liked how even though Willow was a strong, fierce female, she was also able to see the parts of Dominik that she was able to heal as well. This is a duo that I absolutely loved reading about and it just shows that hearing someone out is one of the most important parts of any relationship. I also loved the tie to the Jameson Force Series that was included in this book. For me, since I’ve read that series too, it was a nice tie. This is definitely one of my favorites of this series!
