I will say it again, I swear this collection gets better and better with each book and Abduction is no different. I love that this book was Mafia. I wasn’t expecting it and it was the best surprise.
Arabella had anything but an easy life. Her father is the Mafia Consigliere who drove his wife to commit suicide and treated is daughter like a prisoner. When Arabella finally had enough she left and hid. Then years later she is kidnapped by her father’s men and taken to a warehouse they use for sex trafficking. She falls for Domineco, the Capo, and Domineco claims her as his.
This story is dark and twisted perfection. The build of their relationship was fantastic to read and written perfectly. Abducted hits on some real life issues we never really think about but some people face. Lynn showed that not everything is how you think it is. Yes, Domineco was the Capo but he didn’t agree with all the things he had to do, but sometimes in life we have to do things we don’t agree with. Domineco falls for Arabella pretty quickly and although I’m not a huge fan of insta-love in Abducted it works and I think in the their world it works perfectly.
Abducted was the perfect addiction to the Sinister Fairytale Collection. It was captivating and thrilling and had me turning page after page. It’s also left me needing more of her words. 5 sinister stars for Lynn and Abducted.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

Welcome to another amazing story in the Sinister Fairy Tales Collection. This is the retelling of Beauty and the Beast. It is dark and full of suspense. You will not want to put this book down. This is the story of Ella who has lived all her life with her father and it was basically a prison. Now for the first time she is on her own. However the mafia never lets anyone go and her father sure wasn’t letting her get away. Because of that her new found freedom comes crashing down and she goes from mafia princess to a slave. This is where you will meet Domenico. The man is total authority and Ella can not resist him and hungers for him. He is always in the shadows and don’t be surprised if your not trying to figure out his every move. However can he be Ella’s dark savior? You have to read and find out. I loved this story and the characters and I couldn’t put it down.
Abducted by K.I. Lynn is part of the Sinister Fairy Tales Collection series. This is the story of Belle/ Ari
and Domenico . This is a standalone book. This is a dark mafia retelling of the Beauty and the Beast. This does has some hard scene sot if you have issue or triggers than this book might not be for you. For me this was a page turning read with Ari on the run from her mafia father who has done her wrong. Then Ari is kidnapped placed in a cage. Ari is trying to figure out if these men are her father’s men or someone else’s. There she meets Domenico who she can’t seem to stop having feelings for even though he seems to be a beast. Really enjoyed this dark read.
I love this series each book in this series continues to wow me over and over again, and this one did have a lot of wowing me moments. This is true Mafia in its true form and I absolutely enjoyed it more than any other mafia book that I have read in a while can’t wait for Winter’s Arrow.

I’m a sucker of a Beauty and the Beast inspired story ~ even though when I picked this baby I had no clue what the story would be about ~ regardless, once I found out that this baby was inspired by my fav fairytale, I was excited to dive in and I gotta say, I really enjoyed the ride. It had the essence of the fairytale, but the author definitely made it her own and kept me turning the pages to see just how this Beauty and Beast got their HEA.
I loved Arabella and Domenico. Arabella is a mixture of sweet, sassy and determined. Add in her strong sense of self and the will to survive at all costs and you have a woman to be reckoned with. Domenico is my kind of alpha AF beast. Life has made him hard and ruthless, to the point where one does wonder just how much of a human heart is left in the beast.
Their journey to their HEA was an interesting one. There was a spark between them from the start, even if that start was definitely not a meet cute moment, but from there it grew and as their worlds collide and unravel, it is very obvious that they complete each other in ways neither could have ever imagined.
This is my first read by the author and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The writing was engaging, the pacing was good and while it is a solo first person POV, I ended up really liking being in Ari’s head. There are many books out there that are inspired by the Beauty and the Beast fairytale, some good, some okay, but this adaptation was done very well and fit perfectly into the mafia world the author created. And as for the characters that populate this very dark world, I thought they were all well crafted and there are a few I wouldn’t mind reading more about in the future.

This was not what I was expecting when I started reading the story. It is a Beauty and Beast retelling with mafia elements. There are also elements from Shakespeare in this story too. I have to say, it is pretty intense story. Ella had been trying to escape her life but she soon discovers that you can’t run from your past. She is taken but Ella isn’t sure how much her captors know about her. Domenico is the beast in charge but things are brewing among the men. Ella and Domenico become entangled in each other and they both hold secrets that could change everything. The story proves that appearances can be deceiving. What seems like a knight in shining armour can be a monster in disguise. The story also shows how rivalry and jealousy can make people do the worst things. There is suspense, action and everything rolled into one. Thoroughly enjoyed reading this retelling. It was a real page turner.

Abducted has me so torn. What I loved in this book I really LOVED, but at the same time the pacing of the story really held me back from loving every aspect. Some moments would be entirely too fast while others would drag and have me losing interest. The intricacies of the families at times were also a bit too much causing more confusion than providing something more to the story. But back to those parts I LOVED, namely Domenico and Ari. I loved how fiercely protective Domenico was of Ari. He would do anything for her, even if that includes hurting her. I loved he strength Ari had also. She was constantly full of determination and fight, never giving up even for a second. Overall the characters are what really made this story worth it for me.
