Our heroine is not really a teacher, just a guest lecturer. And our hero is not really a student, just auditing the class. So the no relationships rule doesn’t really apply, right?
When you come right down to it, this is a pretty straightforward romance story. There are hints of student/teacher and hints of D/S, but neither is really a strong plot point. But in the end that doesn’t really matter because they are not needed to make for a highly enjoyable story.
The story is very well written and easy to read. The characters are wonderful, and that includes the support characters who often get short shift is a story such as this. No so here as they have some important roles to play. Overall, we get a wonderful story with a couple of speed bumps our couple must navigate, but they do so with a little help from some friends. The result is a wonderful HEA.
Highly recommended.

This is a short story about Seraphina who has been betrayed by a few males and Kysen who makes a mistake that ends up hurting Seraphina. The two have good chemistry but they also have baggage to sort through before they can reach their HEA. It’s a great plot that’s nicely written with likable character.

A quick, easy read that will make you look at college courses in a whole new way. Cari Robe has delivered a fate induced relationship that will definitely get your blood pumping.

This was my first book by Ms. Robe and I was not disappointed. Had a great story line, well written and HAF. I’m not a spoiler, but have to say that college classes for an adult will never look the same. The characters are real, the story is real and there is so much more to tell, but I won’t. Loved it and recommend highly as a great read. Will say that when you find that true love, whether it be at first sight or one week, can be possible.

Kysen gets his first glimpse of Seraphina when she and a friend attend a wine tasting at his vineyard.
Before he could get her name, she disappears.
As fate would have it, Serafina appears before him as a guest lecturer in a class he is taking.
Things move rather quickly between them, until her step brother, Sebastian throws a wrench into it…
This is a short but sweet story with a HEA.
Definitely a page turner.

I enjoyed what there was of the book, but I feel there could have been more. It was very fast paced and lacked a real storyline. The ending seemed rather abrupt also. I don’t mind short stories like this, but it still felt like something was missing.

Hot damn, Cari Robe has done it AGAIN!!
This is a short and sweet story about two people meeting by chance and jumping some hurdles before making it work.
