My Hostage. Her Secret. Our Enemy.
Taking the commissioner’s daughter wasn’t part of the plan. It should have been an easy smash and grab. Instead I captured Lara, so scared and helpless… girl is an inferno, threatening to consume everything I hold dear.
She has a dark past, and an even darker purpose…
I’ll have to pry her secrets out of her. Before they destroy us both.
“Dom” is a dark mafia romance with a gothic twist, Book 4 in the Underworld series. It’s a stand-alone novel, full of mystery, danger, and blazing hot bedroom scenes. For mature readers only!!!
The Lark Notes:
Ivan’s little brother Dom is forced into an intense love with Lara. Look for the bonus epilogue with cameos from Ivan, Sloane, Sasha, and Snow. – Sophiemore

Enjoyable Dark Mafia Romance
This was a satisfying end to the Color of Crime Mafia series. Lara and Dom’s beginning was rocky but after that initial meeting things improved. It was lovely how Dom wooed Lara. He was determined to have her and he got her. Lara fell in love with him despite how they met and despite him being bratva. Enjoyable read.

This is the 8th and final book in this amazing series and is Lara and Dominik’s story. Dom belongs to the Bratva and while on a mission he sees Lara who is the police commissioner’s daughter, and he ends up kidnapping be for a short time, which peaks his interest in her and he starts to follow her discreetly before introducing himself to her. Lara has a dark past which prevents her from leaving her apartment and socialising, and I loved how fiercely protective Dom is with her. This is a well written tale which has relatable characters and plot, and is action packed with twists, angst, intrigue, heartbreak, danger, violence, drama, secrets, revenge, emotion, and is an entertaining and all-consuming read. I highly recommend for all readers, and I cannot wait to find out what this author brings to the table next.
A thrilling book eight in the Colors of Crime series! It is an engaging, well written, fast pace on the edge of your seat page turner that is packed with suspense, drama, danger, secrets, revenge, twists and turns, and more. The characters are strong and unforgettable; the attraction between them is instant and off the charts. An amazing conclusion in the Colors of Crime series and A MUST READ!

Sophie Lark is a new author to me and I am glad that I took a chance on her.
The storyline grabbed my attention and I could not put down Ash.
Dom and Lara had such intense chemistry. The storyline was action packed and full of yummy steaminess.
Definite must read author!!
I loved everything about this book, including getting to see some of my favorite characters from a past book in this series!!
Dominik Petrov is Ivan’s younger brother and Laura is the commissioner’s daughter.. they shouldn’t have met and they definitely shouldn’t be developing feelings for each other. The more they run into each other or talk, the deeper they fall but can a bratva man and a commissioner’s daughter really work long term? Will he be able to save her from her dark past?
Dom and Laura were everything!! They both were broken in different ways but they find a way to fix each other together. Their chemistry is off the charts and the steamy scenes were some of my favorite in the series. I loved the plot twists, this was definitely an edge of your seat read.
I highly recommend this whole series!! *I received a copy of the story from the author in exchange for an honest review, all thoughts and opinions are my own*
When you burn it all down you are left with smoking hot Ash
Ash is the eighth and final book in the Colors of Crime series. This is the story of Dominik Petrov and Lara Erdeli. Their story is so fantastic as they are really wonderful characters who end up being sooooooo great together. There is danger, drama, revenge, lots of secrets, truths, deception and of course some smoking hot and heavy sexy chemistry.
I really loved this last book in the series. These books can be read as stand-alone but characters and the over arching plot is woven through them. This book also has an Epilogue that ties everything up for the series and all of the characters.
A dark romance that can’t be denied!
Sophie pulls you quickly in to the story of Dom and Lara who each have secrets to hide, but they are unable to avoid their attraction to one another. Yet as their secrets unveil, the suspense and tension mounts and you will be turning the pages to see how it all ends! I thoroughly enjoyed this story!
I didn’t think that this book would be better than the last story, I was wrong. The Colors of Crime Series has unforgettable characters. The story is fast paced with action, drama, suspense, mystery, secrets, lies, and much much more. It’s a story that once you start reading you can’t put the book down. The instant attraction between Dominik and Lara was out of this world. Dom is an alpha male, falls hard for Lara, he’s very protective and possessive. The Bratva bosses seem to put family and their safety and love and will do anything to ensure that happens. Highly recommend this whole series. Another wonderfully dark color of crime! This is Dom and Lara’s story. It has it all. Dark family issues. Revenge. Kidnapping. Danger. Violence. Attraction. Steamy bits. And lots of love. I loved that Dom was totally into loving and protecting Lara. Sigh. This whole series has been just the best! Sorry to see it finished.

ASH: A Dark Mafia Romance (Colors of Crime Book 8) by Sophie Lark
Sophie Lark does Dark Romance in a very special, outstanding way! I loved this book. Dominik and Lara have on fire chemistry and true devotion to each other. Sophie brings us a kidnapping, drama, intrigue, mystery, twists, and turns. I think this is one of her best yet. Definitely a 5 star read.

ONE ROUGH AND TOUGH TUMBLE!!!
Hell hath no fury! Sophie knocks the socks off this bad boy, laying out this action packed, pulse racing, heart pounding, adrenaline pumping, block busting dynamo, fusing this jewel together sleek, shiny and tight. A tumultuous wild ride chocked-full of unexpected circumstances and thrilling mishaps, blasts those swirling emotions into play, booting this sparkling gem into a roaring tempest, catapulting it into a tailspin with a mind-blowing culmination. Satisfaction is an understatement, this baby comes packing a punch that’ll bring you to your knees, keeping you riveted on a razors edge. Twined, combined and interwoven, exposing the explosive ups and agonizing downs, grounding in it’s simplicity and awe inspiring in it’s depth. Maneuvering through horrendous trials and taxing tribulations, noting the shocking twists and wicked turns, testing our characters in ways they could have never envisioned. The characters are complex and authentic with depth and traits that blend and flow, transforming into genuinely relatable personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and depictions creating a colorful backdrop that makes the storyline pop. Remarkable job Sophie, thanks for sharing this little treasure with us.
This the last book in this series, but what a way to end it all. Dom and Lara have a story that will capture your heart. He is the brother and right hand man to Ivan. She is the daughter of the man trying to take them down. When Lara and her father relocate for his police commissioner job, she sits alone at their home unless he is not working. After Dom has her in his clutches, he realizes that he as a strong connection with her. He cannot walk away from the temptation and ends up being her white knight one day. They both have secrets that will destroy them and they stay away from each other but they can’t. This was a great way to wrap up the Color of Crime books.

Loved it. So many mixed emotions. Bitter sweet so sad that this is the last book. But it ended the series with a great last book. Dom and Laura Book went from forbidden To a hidden relationship to a very determined couple to overcome past obstacles. Absolutely loved this series.
I voluntarily reviewed this advance reader copy of this book.
Dominik Petrov is the younger brother of Ivan Petrov the head of the Petrov Family Bratva. He and his brother are close, they even live together with cousins and Bratva members in an old monastery. Dominik has his job and he is particular about how it is done. When he runs into trouble one night while transporting their product, he has to find a way to get it back and keep the police from causing them more trouble. He needs to send a message that the Petrov’s will not take interruptions of their products by the police.
Lara Erdeli lives a life in hiding. She is hiding from a devastating past and trying to get retribution for that past. She loves art and is tired of being cooped up in a small flat by herself so much. When she finally gets the freedom she craves, her life will take a swift turn. The man protecting her and keeping her safe is the new Chief of Police in St. Petersburg. He is incorruptible and determined to clean the streets of the Bratva. He can’t be bought, but there may be a way to keep him off the Petrov Bratva’s backs.
I really loved this story. Dom is a great character. He is a tough man, a Bratva brother, but he also has a side that you would not expect to find. He falls hard for Lara and is determined to keep her and protect her. I enjoy the characters of this story as well as the other books in the series. They are entertaining to read. They’re loyal, deadly, and they are not afraid to do what is needed to ensure the safety of their family and loved one. I give this story a 5-star review and suggest that you read the entire series. I also read the Series Finale Epilogue, available at the end of the book, and loved it as well. I do wish that it had been longer though. If you are a reader of Mafia, Bratva, Alpha males, and strong women, you will love this series.
This is the final book of the colors of crime series, and I loved this one the best. I found the books just got better and better as the series went on. I’m looking forward to a boxset, hopefully, as I am sure,I will read them again. It’s always sad to finish a series like this. This book is about Lara and Dom. Dom is Ivan’s brother and belongs to the Bratva. Lara, is the police commission’s daughter and they have immediate attraction once they meet. This is a dark story. It’s filled with violence and drama and suspense but also lots of unexpected twists, and steamy scenes. Great job!

There are some series you read that you wish would never end. The Colors of Crime by Sophie Lark is one of them. Each book features a hot, loyal, intense, alpha hunk that will do anything to protect those he loves and a smart, strong, beautiful woman that can bring him to his knees. Ash is Dom and Lara’s story. Dom is the brother and second in his Bratva cell to his brother Ivan, who we met in Emerald. Dom thinks she’s the daughter of the Chief of Police and their sworn enemy, so Dom uses Lara to send a message to him. Dom is drawn to Lara, who has many dark, brutal secrets of her own. The book is twisty with tons of turns, steamy, intense, and oh, such a great ride from start to finish. These two characters are well written, the book is well paced, and I love a HEA. I cant wait for the next book/series from Sophie Lark!!
