A cocky doctor next door? Thanks, but no thanks.Call me crazy, but I’m not gonna fall for some hot surgeon down the hall.I’d been hurt once by a man obsessed with his career, and this time, I was not going to makethis stupid mistake again.I moved to this city to focus on my art and start over, and the last thing I needed was someonelike Doctor Linton.Tall. Handsome. Strong. He was everything that … Linton.
Tall. Handsome. Strong.
He was everything that a girl could want and more.
But to me, he was just an arrogant and egotistical prick.
I wanted to stay away from him, but an accident forced me to seek his help.
And that was when I figured out how…skillful he was with his hands.
Now everything in my life is a total mess:
…I am in love with my enemy.

We’d all like a doctor next door if he’s anything like the hero in this lovely book….
A well crafted quick & entertaining read with plenty of sexual chemistry. The gorgeous doctor was charming, successful, rich, routine orientated & the opposite of his beautiful girl next door talented but struggling artist. He put her first & put her on the map for her career to take off. Methinks they would make beautiful babies!
I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review
This was such a sweet story but had humor and love as well. Somewhat opposites on the outside, Daliah and Edgar has more in common on the inside. She brought out his light and he helped her become more organized but also supported her dreams.

A short romantic story, Edgar has a well organized focus life until the wild red head next door booms her way in. Delilah is wild and the complete opposite from the old man next door but a love of art brings two souls together. I liked the characters and the short sweet romance. Didn’t quite get 5 stars as I would have liked a bit more back story for both, but overall still a nice read.

4.5 stars. Nicely written and a pleasure to read! It’s a short but sweet with some spice. Edgar is a surgeon bucking for the Chief position. He works long, hard hours and doesn’t have time for a social life to meet someone special. Daliah is a talented artist starting over in a bigger city after a bad breakup. They meet when he has to ask her to turn her music down so he can sleep. He is relaxed with her because she doesn’t know he is wealthy and likes him for himself not his money. Very enjoyable!

I liked this shorter length read. The fun story keeps you entertained, while the likable characters keep you engaged. Edgar and Daliah had good chemistry and made such a good couple that I wish this book had been longer. This would have provided a much more in-depth and satifying romance for this couple. Stillthis was a good if quick read.
The romance brewing between the two was endearing to read! It is a bittersweet way for two people with such opposite personalities to meet and fall. The person who comes across at the first meeting can be the most sweet and tender inside to who their heart goes to. The love that can brew between two people that may disagree or hate one another can be so strong because the chemistry it takes to have the snappy comebacks to the witty remarks and it can be so explosive that it just comes to a head where it cannot be undeniable! A quick cute fast read. Edgar and Daliah make a cute couple. She was a strong female character that worked well with his alpha stuffy character. Both achieve their goals despite their pasts and it ends in a HEA!

It’s a classic case of opposites attract as neighbors, Edgar and Daliah, fall for each other. Edgar’s Type-A personality makes him perfectly suited for his career as a surgeon, while Deliah has the true free spirit of a born artist. After a bad relationship and even worse breakup, she’s starting over and making a career of her art. Edgar is on track for the Chief of Surgery position and everything outside of that focus has been put on the backburner, especially personal relationships. The sparks fly from the very first moment this pair meets, but their love story is a slower build. This was a sweet and spicy story with very little emotional drama or angst.

Daliah had just moved next door when she was interrupted by loud banging. To her surprise her neighbor who just came home from a hard shift at the hospital told her to turn down the volume. That interaction provided the introduction that would later turn into a romantic journey neither saw coming in their lives.

Daliah is an artist that is just looking to start over. She moved out of her hometown which also got her away from her previous bad relationship. She is all too familiar with a man who’s first love is his job. Then she meets her neighbor, Dr Edger Linton. He is not only a doctor but a surgeon who’s goal is to become Chief of Surgery. HA! Fate seems to be playing a cruel joke on Daliah by putting this man in her life. Of course,Daliah is bound and determined not to let history repeat itself but she begins to find out that maybe it isn’t. Now what? Can she take the chance? Will Dr Linton prove her wrong, she be his number one?

I really enjoyed this story of Daliah and Edgar, even if I hated his name.in such a short amount of time, they had so much love, concern, and respect for each other. I loved the story and the characters were remarkable and memorable. Great short read!

Edgar thought he had a great life and was happy. That was until his neighbor moved in and threw him for a loop. Daliah is free spirited and free flowing goes with the flow. Totally opposite of him but he can’t get her off his mind.
Don’t miss as Edgar and Daliah start the best thing ever.

Cute, story in how these characters were portrayed as genuine and heartfelt. Great way to meet your neighbor and make an impression, not to mention that both of these characters had a good sense of humor and not take themselves to serious. Enjoyed this book and the HEA that was written for them.

I really enjoyed reading this short and sweet love story.
Edgar was your quintessential quiet smart doctor, and Daliah was a free spirited artist. Too completely different people but they also have some common interest like their love of renaissance art.
Not much stands in their way except maybe a rocky first meeting. So if you are looking for a short non angst love story this book is for you.

Daliah is an artist who is looking for a new start for her art career away from her hometown and a bad relationship. She had already been hurt by a man obsessed with his career. So when she met Dr. Edgar Linton, a surgeon who has his sights set on becoming Chief of Surgery, she knows to absolutely avoid him at all costs. She doesn’t need the arrogance and coldness that a man like that would offer. He would have no time left over for her, and she was not willing to be excluded and pushed away again. No thanks!
As they get to know each other through assorted interactions, they get to know the real person. They each can see that their initial expectations and assumptions were wrong, and that they found comfort, support, friendship, and encouragement in each other. It was a slow build to a solid relationship that could last – if they give it a chance. Will they believe in who they now are getting to know? Can they hope for more as they grow into something better?
I enjoyed this book. The story line is fast-paced with humor and realistic characters who are very likable. Grab your copy and enjoy the surprises along the way.
a very nice story. two opposites that are nevertheless matched. I myself did not find it an enemy to lover story .. more because a simple warning does not make an enemy. characters have good chemistry and all together definitely worth 5 stars.
