Zebra’s got a cough! All his stripes have fallen off!
What are we going to do? Call for Doctor Kangaroo!
All the animals seem to be poorly, but Doctor Kangaroo is here to help!
Another silly rhyming picture book by Gerald Hawksley!
It is very interesting how the author catches the children attention, My daughter and I really enjoy it. Great for spending some time with children.

My 2yo grandson loves this book! We read it often. He feels sorry for the animals when they’re sick, and happy when Dr. Kangaroo helps them get well. Def a fun read with the little in your life!

It’s a truly Funny Rhyme book; which is GREAT for kids! We (Me and my muse son) love pretending to be Dr Kangaroo’s patients and screaming Dr KANGAROO every time his name comes up. I love reciting it to the kids as they stand in a circle and we have turned it into a game. For younger ones I have memorized few pages. That’s how many times we have read it!

Clear art, short rhyming phrases, fun characters all weave together to become the perfect young children’s book. My three- year- old grandson loves this book. It’s just the right thing to put a fun spin on a sick day.

The rhythm of the verse is all over the place, making it a very challenging read for kids (or adults for that matter, but not in a good way). There are loads of other good children’s books out there that have great illustrations, clever language, a good story, and a rhyme scheme that helps early readers along with interpretation. Buy one of those instead.

We read this book on my Kindle Paperwhite at least 3 times a week and even though it’s not in color, my 3 year old loves reading it. She can’t actually read yet, but she’s memorized it and she likes to “read” the book to me. She even has all of the jokes at the end memorized. We like that the book is about animals and that there are jokes and a maze and at the end she sings the Dr. Kangaroo monkey song. Fun stuff. Then, sometimes she wants to go back and read it again.
