Nurse Shelly Westbrook has returned home to Marietta hoping to give her son and niece a Christmas holiday to reboot a disappointing year. Christmas is magic and Marietta is the perfect place for them all to start over. Dr. Peter Davidson has never indulged in the Christmas spirt, but he thinks he’s hallucinating when he reaches the city limits and sees a sleigh driven by a white bearded man in a … bearded man in a red suit. The minor collision is inevitable, as is his slight concussion. His obsession with the beautiful angel of a nurse who stops to render aid is unexpected, but just what the doctor ordered.
Can two people nursing broken hearts find love in a quiet mountain town that has always promised new beginnings?

Enjoyed the way the story developed. Made me want to read the other books in the series.

I think the book is a page turner and a fantastic read for everyone.
Good story
Very slow moving. Had a hard time finishing it.
Heartbreak, Family, love, and a white Christmas!
Good story with warm characters.
Kept me want to read more.
This was a great cozy read. Well written and kept you entertained.
I loved the plot, the favorite setting, and especially the characters! I wish I lived in Marietta!
Loved this book. Different but a sweet romance.
Typical romance. OK but nothing literary
I loved the storyline. It was unique and a well written story. I loved the way that the author gave the characters a second chance at love. Good read!!!
Very good.
Very cute and sweet. Entertaining.
Unusual and different idea, which made it interesting. Unfortunately the story development was much too predictable. I knew from the beginning how it would end. Why would a woman ostensibly in a long-standing happy relationship abandon a loving man when he proposes marriage and without any explanation? I guessed that answer about half way through, long before the clueless hero. There was no character development. Everyone was wonderful except for the ex-husband who was horrid. The explicit sex added nothing to the story. As I said good idea, not enough for good book.
This was a sweet Christmas story with some interesting twists and turns.
I enjoyed the development of the romance between Shelly and Peter and their dynamics with the kids. A nice twist at the end.
A really lovely story for Christmas.
