With a new introduction by bestselling true crime author Ron Franscell.
For 25 years, the trusted family doctor in a small Wyoming town had been raping and molesting the women and children who most relied on him. Mostly Mormons, the naive victims sometimes realized on their wedding nights the truth about what had happened in Dr. Story’s office.
In riveting detail, veteran crime writer Jack … crime writer Jack Olsen tells the searing story of a small group of courageous women who decided to bring a doctor to justice — and unearthed a legacy of pain and anger that would divide their families, their neighbors, and an entire town.

A must read Any western lover, And a lover of historical figures. What a wonderful work at characters that we all know about but don’t know well.
Very readable and enlightening.
i’m assuming the biographical info is correct and has been properly researched….and that was the interesting part of this read. it wasn’t the sensational bullshit so presented….it made Doc more human and a sympathetic character.
I always wanted to learn more about Doc Holliday. A truly colorful part of American history
Wonderfully written, brought the characters to life.
A good read. Lots of info on Doc I had never heard. Enjoyable!
I just couldn’t get into this book at all. Didn’t like it.
Excellent! Historical fiction of Western era. Can’t be beat.
I loved reading about the life in the west following the Civil
War. She made the people come alive —like real people and not just the one dimension characters the way Doc and the Earp brothers are often presented.
So much more than a man at the center of the most famous gun fight.
Great read! Have recommended it to all my friends.
I really enjoyed her wonderful writing and enjoyed learning things about a character I already knew.
Every thing that I thought I knew about Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday was dispelled by this book.
LOVED it!!!
One of my all time favorites – great character development and wonderful writing style.
A fun read
This is a wonderful blend of fact and fiction. Keeps a moderate steady pace with well placed humor and excitement. I will definitely be reading more of her books.
