USA Today best-selling author, Willow Winters, brings you an all-consuming, sizzling romance featuring an epic antihero you won’t soon forget. Some love stories are a slow burn. Others are quick to ignite, scorching and branding your very soul before you’ve taken that first breath. You’re never given a chance to run from it. That’s how I’d describe what happened to us.Everything around me … us.
Everything around me blurred and all that existed were his lips, his touch…
The chase and the heat between us became addictive.
Our nights together were a distraction, one we craved to the point of letting the world crumble around us.
We should have paid more attention; we should have known that it would come to this.
We both knew it couldn’t last, but that didn’t change what we desired most.
All we wanted was each other…
“The emotions Willow evokes in this are on another level. This small glimpse into the world of Marcus is thrilling, chilling, a little bit sweet and a whole lot of just wow. You won’t want to miss this one.” – Ky Reads Romance
This is part one of an epic tale of both betrayal and all-consuming love.

This prequel left me wanting more, I already couldn’t wait for Marcus’ story, but now the anticipation is unbearable. Willow reeled me in with this and you won’t regret reading Do You Want Me. I had my thoughts like most people on who Marcus could be and I thought I FINALLY figured it out, but now I’m not too sure. While Marcus always intrigued me, I love seeing Delilah and Cody’s personalities outside of the Hard To Love Series (Seth & Laura). Especially THIS SIDE of Delilah’s personality. So far all their characters are wonderfully developed and this is just the beginning. Now I thought I couldn’t wait for This Love Hurts, but now its ten times worse, however the prequel did take some of the edge off. I 100% recommend everybody who’s followed the entire Merciless World and Hard To Love series to read this prequel especially if like me you’re not so patiently waiting to read This Love Hurts.
This is the prequel story to the elusive Marcus. He’s been hiding in the shadows throughout the Cross brother’s stories and seems to see and hear everything. The story focuses on Marcus, Delilah and Agent Cody Walsh. Delilah and Walsh have a no strings relationship and Marcus has feelings for her that he knows he shouldn’t have. I really can’t wait to find out who Marcus actually is.
We have been waiting to read more about Marcus and I can’t believe its finally here! This is a small glimpse of what’s to come, but I have a feeling Willow is going to blow us away with the next book. Not only is Marcus here, but we get to see more of Delilah and Cody Walsh as well. I’m so excited for more!
What an EPIC beginning to Marcus’ story!! It is about a lawyer named Delilah and Agent Cody Walsh of the FBI and how they come about into a relationship on the DL. However, there is also a hint of a unknown love triangle. So good!! I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for This Love Hurts. I voluntarily received an ARC copy of this book and I am leaving my honest review.
Do You Want Me is the prequel to This Love Hurts. In this story, you a get glimpse of Marcus. Cant wait to see how Cody, Delilah and Marcus’s history/relationship are tied to one another. The wait for This Love Hurts is going to be torture.
This book is a prequel for the long awaited story of Marcus, Delilah and Agent Cody Walsh’s history together. If you’re unsure of starting on this amazing journey- this is the perfect way to sample a taste of what this author offers through her skill.
Not too long ago, I was introduced to the Merciless world and drank in every single book released within this series since then. One of many things I love about reading W.Winters is the pull she has with the power of her words. Willow never fails to provide a heavy dose of suspense and desire and this book will capture your interest at the start of the first page.
I have been waiting for Marcus’s Story and now we get a glimpse in this Prequel with Do You Want Me . Willow did a fantastic job i was hooked as soon as i opened it. I could not put the book down. I was intrigued, thrilled and excited. I need more info on Cody, Marcus and Delilah. Can’t wait for the next installment
If you’re excited about Marcus’s upcoming story in “This Love Hurts” then this is a treat for you. A prequel introduction novella and worth every minute! We get a glimpse of the deliciously evil and mysterious man and one attorney, Delilah Jones he is intrigued by…but the question is why? I cannot wait for his story to be told! Told in multiple POV but mainly in Delilah’s POV
Marcus’ story! One readers have been waiting for!
Delilah is a strong woman, and Marcus just may have met his match in her. A prequel of Marcus’ story while he watches from the shadows as Delilah, a prosecuter, and FBI agent Cody become close. One knows that Marcus being who he is will not let that stand when he wants something. We see a peek of who Marcus is in the early days as we are introduced to him before the Cross Brothers. It may be a short introduction to his story, but it packs a wallop as readers wait to read more of Marcus’ story in the next book, “This Love Hurts”. **I was gifted a copy of “Do You Want Me?” and leave my review voluntarily based on my reading.** 4.5 Stars!
Do You Want Me is the beginning of Marcus’ story, and what a beginning it is! We’ve caught glimpses of Marcus throughout the Merciless series, but now it’s finally Marcus’ turn and I can’t wait to see where Willow takes us! The intrigue of Marcus has always been there for me and delving deeper into who he is and his relationship with Delilah.
I can’t believe we are finally going to get Marcus’s story although I haven’t any idea where the author is going with the apparently complicated relationships between Delilah, Cody Walsh, and Marcus. This book is an intriguing preview of what is to come. Marcus is the mystery that confounded me throughout all of the related books in this world and there are many. I can’t wait to see how it all plays out. Bring it on Ms. Winters!
I am voluntarily reviewing an advance reader copy of this book.
There is a man who lives in the shadows that has been present in series books of the Cross Brothers. This man seems to hear and see all things and sets things in motion but no one knows who he really is or what he even looks like. I am not sure I have ever felt so much build up to a character before, I love it!
Do You Want Me is an introduction to the story coming. If you read the Cross brothers series you have been introduced to the characters Deliah and Cody Walsh, but we didnt know their story and how they were entangled together or how Marcus fits into the story. This is a much needed storyline I cannot wait to continue reading. This books will ignite your heart for these characters.
I really love how W. Winters builds her characters. There is so much clear thought and detail. I truly feel I get a full sense of who each person is in and can feel their emotions as written on the pages.
Finally, we’re getting Marcus’ story! He’s always been a man of mystery in the Merciless world, a man with far-reaching resources, yet we know practically nothing about him. This amazingly well done prequel starts at the beginning and gives us an exciting taste of Marcus, Delilah, and Agent Cody. I loved getting to see these different facets of their lives and personalities, and how their interconnected emotions begin to surface. I’m dying to get more!
I am speechless!!!!! Weve always gotten a glimpse of Marcus in the other books where he shows us what he is capable of and how he manipulate people into doing his bidding or some truth that was hidden comes to light but Damn I’m speechless. This story or what we have of it is Smoking. Yes Smoking Hot! This story is on another level. You can feel the emotions jumping off of the page. It’s a Must Read.
Edit
This standalone glimpse of Marcus left me REELING, BEGGING FOR MORE!! Holy cow!! Willow is one author who packs a punch with her words. She connect and drags you into the dark world that these characters life in. The secrets. The lies. The deception. It all makes of one juicy, hot, over the top romance like no other!!
Seriously – Willow Winters – you give us the glimpse of Marcus and then – hello cliffhanger!!! The man who has been a mystery for SO long!! Willows words are unlike any other you read. She creates mystery, illusions, lust and desire in all of her words. These words will sing to your soul and make you fall a little deeper for Marcus and all the parties involved!!
Marcus has been quite the character through the series of books Willow had wrote. He has created so much mystery and question, you can’t help be become obsessed with the beginning of Marcus’s story. It will definitely leave you begging for more. This series will have you tangled in a web of emotion and obsession. Bring on Marcus!!
Do You Want Me? gave a tantalizing glimpse into Marcus’s past and left me craving so much more. From the start Marcus has been an aloof and mysterious player in this series that has remained in the shadows. He’s left me beyond curious to know more about him with each new book. Slowly I’ve pieced together hints and clues along the way and now my mind was left spinning with who I think he might possibly be. After this exciting start to his story I can’t wait to unravel more of Marcus’s secrets and finally get his story.
Wow! What a great look into the lives and minds of Marcus, Delilah and Cody. We get a hint of where these three began. It appears there is some history between Marcus and Delilah, or is there? He definitely has been keeping tabs on her an has warned Cody away from her. But, were they ever involved or has he lusted/loved her from afar this whole time. We will have to wait and find out. Cody has agreed to stay away from her and only interacts with her for work. Well, until he decides he no longer wants to stay away. Delilah and Cody seem to have personal history. We get a look into what each has gone through growing up when they share parts of their past. Marcus is watching though and it looks like soon things are about to change. I am looking forward to finding out what drives Marcus and what happened to Delilah from the time she was at the top of her game as an attorney to when we were first introduced to her as a patient where Laura works. What has happened from the time Marcus first warned Cody away from her to when we met them in the series of the Cross brothers? I can not wait to find out more about the mysterious Marcus and find out what makes him tick.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC fo this book.
This is just a prequel, so do expect only a snippet into a new series of stories. But, while this is a short look, a lot of information is provided. Just what are the ties that bind Delilah, Marcus and Agent Cody together? What is the relationship and more importantly, where are the foci for the divisions you know will appear? Who really is going to be surprised when the hero/anti-hero shows true colours?
Ooh yes!! It’s almost time to get Marcus’s story after learning about the mysterious man through the previous books in the Merciless world……and after this little prequel Willow Winters wrote, I’m even more excited to learn exactly who he is. Even though we didn’t get a lot from his point of view in this story (it was mostly from Delilah and Detective Walsh), I carefully read every word just looking for clues and hints to his identity! One part stood out to me and gave me an idea as to who he is, so we’ll have to see if my thoughts are correct or not! Definitely enjoyed this one……and am excited for what’s to come next!
I can not wait for this series! This is the perfect mood setter to get into this series.
