USA Today best-selling author, Willow Winters, brings you an all-consuming, sizzling romance featuring an epic antihero you won’t soon forget. Some love stories are a slow burn. Others are quick to ignite, scorching and branding your very soul before you’ve taken that first breath. You’re never given a chance to run from it. That’s how I’d describe what happened to us.Everything around me … us.
Everything around me blurred and all that existed were his lips, his touch…
The chase and the heat between us became addictive.
Our nights together were a distraction, one we craved to the point of letting the world crumble around us.
We should have paid more attention; we should have known that it would come to this.
We both knew it couldn’t last, but that didn’t change what we desired most.
All we wanted was each other…
“The emotions Willow evokes in this are on another level. This small glimpse into the world of Marcus is thrilling, chilling, a little bit sweet and a whole lot of just wow. You won’t want to miss this one.” – Ky Reads Romance
This is part one of an epic tale of both betrayal and all-consuming love.

Do you Want Me by W. Winters is the prequel to the upcoming novel This Love Hurts. If you’ve read any of the other Cross brothers novels you would have already met Marcus, the faceless man, the boogeyman, the biggest anti-hero of all, and I for one have been anxious to know his full story. Marcus had always been a mystery and this novel gave us a look at Walsh and Delilah’s relationship while giving us Marcus POV through it all and a glimpse at how intertwined their relationship really is.
With a hint of steam, suspense and mystery it will keep you at the edge of your seat hanging on to every word. You will be obsessed with this introduction and be anxiously awaiting the upcoming novel. I absolutely loved this novella and can’t wait for more.
The audiobook version was narrated by Teddy Hamilton and Desiree Ketchum. Two excellent narrators who brought the story to life. They gave each character their own personality and they infused the right amount of emotion into the story. With excellent pace and timing their voices blended well together and it was a pleasure listening to them narrate this novel.
Wow! This is a great start to Marcus’s story, a prequel of This Love Hurts, sets in the Merciless World. Delilah, is an attorney, and Cody, an FBI agent. In the shadow, the mysterious and intriguing Marcus is awaiting to take control. The storyline is complex, filled with mystery, and suspense. I am really thrilled and pleased by the choice of narrators! Teddy Hamilton and Desireé Ketchum did an amazing job with the narration. I love their voices together! Looking forward to listen to the next book in the Series.
Do You Want Me?
By: W. Winters, Willow Winters
Narrated by: Desiree Ketchum, Teddy Hamilton
Dark is so delicious, and Willow Winters writes it so well. This prequel to her new series is just that. Delicious. It gives us a little background for Marcus, Cody and Delilah. Getting a brief look at their intertwined history and where the present will be going just makes you want more. Cody has gotten himself in deep, both with Delilah and Marcus. The question is what happens when Delilah finds out. Delilah has a lot to work through to get herself working at her best. But the real pull for this is Marcus. Though not particularly featured, his chapters are menacing, so dark that I can’t wait to hear what his story is! Bring on the story, inquiring dark romance minds want to know!
What a fantastic team Teddy Hamilton and Desiree Ketchum are. Hamilton pulls out his best voices and lets us get a taste of Cody and Marcus. They are complex characters and his nuances are going to enhance the story. Ketchum has a distinctive quality in her voice that gives so many facets to Delilah’s personality. She is fierce, passionate and determined. This team is going to be amazing for the rest of this series!

Audio Review:
Do You Want Me? (To This Hurts Prequel) sets the tone for this sizzling romance featuring a epic antihero. Bringing mystery, a sense of danger, and suspense. The writing style is complex with a novel panache. The storyline is puzzle trying to put together all the pieces. Intricately weaved together characters with complex personalities. The man lurking in the shadows of the Merciless World Marcus is dangerous, dark, mysterious and alluring. I loved listening to the prequel story to get wired for the series.
Desiree Ketchum, Teddy Hamilton dual narration was smooth and consistent. I love Desiree’s intonation as its euphonious.
Overall, a entertaining listen.
Do You Want Me is the prequel to This Love Hurts releasing in just a few months.
First, this cover – gah! That’s what drew me to my first Willow Winters read, then after reading the blurb, I was sold. I just had to find out who this epic antihero was. I didn’t find out everything just yet, but I’m sure I will as this series continues.
What I do know is that Marcus is a mysterious man and dangerous too. He has an obsession and I want to know why.
Why has he been hiding in the shadows?
Why does he do what he does?
What’s the deal with him and Cody?
I already want more from Marcus, Delilah and Cody. I also want to know more about Marcus’ world and the world before his. I think I’m hooked on this world from reading a novella!
I’ll be looking out for the release of This Love Hurts to continue reading within this world and Marcus’ story.
DO YOU WANT ME is a Prequel to THIS LOVE HURTS. Which is the long awaited Marcus’ story. Originally I was going to wait till THIS LOVE HURTS was released, to read DO YOU WANT ME. But last night, I was looking for a new book to read. DO YOU WANT ME just called to me with that beautiful cover. Glad it did, because I read it in one sitting. This is the hidden torrid affair between, Delilah, a prosecuting attorney, and FBI Agent Cody Walsh. Marcus is an invisible force controlling and manipulating from the shadows. It is made obvious that Delilah is the real love interest to Marcus. You know Marcus is only going to let Cody have her for just so long. Before he will put an end to their hot love affair. This Prequel is just the beginning. Marcus’ story continues in THIS LOVE HURTS. I plan to preorder as soon as I am done with this review.
I just wanted to share with you a quote from this book that made me laugh. “Some days you’re the dog. Some days you’re the hydrant. My auntie Lindie told me that one when I was young.”
Well, hello Marcus. I am very excited about the next series within the Merciless world and I can’t believe we are finally getting into Marcus’ story, the mystery man that has been eluding all of us readers in many of Willow’s books. This prequel is everything and has me hyped up for what’s to come! This man is still a mystery but I know as soon as we start to dive in, we will finally (hopefully) get the answers we’re looking for. Thank you Willow for this awesome surprise!
An epic tale of both betrayal and all-consuming love.
We both knew it couldn’t last, but that didn’t change what we desired most.
All we wanted was each other…
Another must read from Willow Winters!
Do You Want Me? is the prequel to This Love Hurts and is the perfect way to start Marcus and Delilah’s story. As many say we are finally getting the story of ‘the man, the myth, the legend!’. I am so excited to get a closer look into the one and only Marcus and his little obsession Delilah. This prequel somehow made me even more excited for This Love Hurts. And I don’t really know how that’s possible.
I’m here for it, I need more and I wish I could have it ready. Is it July yet?
I received this eARC in exchange for an honest review.
This is the perfect official introduction to Marcus and Delilah.
Marcus has always only been in the background, hiding in the shadows, and in this prologue he still does. We get a few glimpses of him, but he’s still as much of a mystery as he has always been. It makes me want to read more, I want to finally figure him out, know who he is what his motivations are. And most of all, the connection with Cody!
Delilah, oh sweet Delilah. What have you been involved into. I love this woman already and I hardly know her.
Read this! And get ready for the story of your life, cause I know this’ll be the one to break me
The beginning to what I can only see as a thrilling, sexy, wild ride!
I have been waiting ages for Marcus’s story, and Do You Want Me? gave us a little tease.
Such a tease, Willow.
I still have so many questions, but Do You Want Me? has definitely whetted my appetite for more. We get our first insight into Delilah and who she is. The beginnings of a love triangle are present, with Marcus (once again!) hidden in the shadows and Cody Walsh, our crooked federal agent.
I need more.
Oh my word! Such a beautiful, steamy and enthralling has bewitched me from the very beginning. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to everyone!
I voluntarily submitted an ARC review for this book.
This is a short introduction which I thought was going to be ……….. ahhh can’t say because I don’t want to spoil anything! But let’s just say completely drawn in already and needing the next book!
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The much anticipated beginning to Marcus’ story! We finally get a chance to learn more about Delilah, Cody, and the illusive Marcus. I loved starting to learn more about these characters and the events leading up to the other Merciless stories. The only negative thing, the book had to end. Another great book by Winters.
Hooked!
Delilah, Marcus, and Cody Walsh.
Well what an intriguing look into their lives and relationships. So many answers and so many more to come. Heat, passion, jealousy, mystery and anticipation!!! I can’t wait to read more!!
Yes, you want this bite! 4 stars
This is a little teaser to get us ready for Marcus’ full length book, This Love Hurts. We get a little bit of backstory on Delilah, Marcus’ love interest, how Cody Walsh was involved, and it was interesting. I loved that she was smart and fierce. I can’t wait to read how she fell for Marcus, and how their whole story unravels. This whole novella just whet my appetite for the full length book, so try this bite!
*I received a copy of this ebook for my honest review.*
Do You Want Me? has left me desperate for more! Willow Winters is an extraordinary writer and this snippet of her upcoming novel is more than proof of that. Only eleven chapters that leaving you wanting more. I want to know more about Marcus and his side of the story. I’ve been left in suspense and I can’t wait for the full book!
If this is just the prequel Marcus story we are in for a fantastic story. He has always been in the background and makes you want to know more about him. Willow has given us a taste of him and already I can tell this is going to reck havoc on my emotions and I can’t wait for more of this story.
Can we just appreciate all things in this cover for a second? Whew okay. I’m trying not to think too much about this book just yet because I want to read it again after I read Jase and Seth‘s books… but it was so good. I’m so intrigued by all things Marcus. Like a bit unhinged just thinking about him, kind of intrigued. *shrug* Honestly just kicking myself for waiting so long to read all the things in this world. Perfection.
