USA Today best-selling author, Willow Winters, brings you an all-consuming, sizzling romance featuring an epic antihero you won’t soon forget. Some love stories are a slow burn. Others are quick to ignite, scorching and branding your very soul before you’ve taken that first breath. You’re never given a chance to run from it. That’s how I’d describe what happened to us.Everything around me … us.
Everything around me blurred and all that existed were his lips, his touch…
The chase and the heat between us became addictive.
Our nights together were a distraction, one we craved to the point of letting the world crumble around us.
We should have paid more attention; we should have known that it would come to this.
We both knew it couldn’t last, but that didn’t change what we desired most.
All we wanted was each other…
“The emotions Willow evokes in this are on another level. This small glimpse into the world of Marcus is thrilling, chilling, a little bit sweet and a whole lot of just wow. You won’t want to miss this one.” – Ky Reads Romance
This is part one of an epic tale of both betrayal and all-consuming love.

HOLY WOW! This surprise novella by WWinters is intense, mysterious and has left me speechless. It is a prequel to Marcus’ story and it’s one that you shouldn’t miss. There is so much mystery behind the man, the myth…Marcus. This is the perfect beginning to what is gonna be a riveting journey between Delilah, Cody and Marcus. I’m looking forward to more!
He is watching. Marcus is always watching. “Do You Want Me” is a prequel to the story of Marcus to be told in the upcoming book “This Love Hurts”, the mysterious Marcus who has haunted the Cross brothers for years! Marcus who is always hovering just out of sight and reach pulling strings, impacting lives manipulating people and events. Delilah Jones, a smart tough prosecutor with a secret soft center. Delilah’s focus is on doing her job and doing it well, to lose a case and have a perpetrator go free cuts her to her core. Delilah is also lonely, and Agent Cody Walsh seems to be perfect for a discrete relationship that is mutually beneficial but has no strings for either of them they have danced around their mutual attraction for too long. However, when Delilah’s mother is injured, she must make a trip home to join her family while they wait for her mother to be released from the hospital. Family problems and secrets are emerging and Delilah fears for her mother’s well-being. All the while Marcus is in the background watching, waiting, he seems to consider Delilah his and is not pleased that Cody has become involved with her he sent warnings but they went unheeded so more action is needed. I need “This Love Hurts” now to know what happens next. Willow Winters has done it again and I am once again hooked and left wanting more I am voluntarily reviewing this prequel.
An in depth, psychological romance that kept me guessing! On the surface, this looks like a typical romance. But willow writes such intricate, detailed plots that we soon see that it’s not just a typical romance. There’s layers of intrigue, suspense, animosity and betrayal embedded within. Cannot wait for the continuation of this story!
What a beginning. This book is the beginning of the highly anticipated series about Marcus our mystery man. We get a glimpse of his obsession with Delilah while also getting to know Officer Walsh and Delilah better.
If you have not read any of W Winters books you can start here without any background knowledge.
If you have read the Merciless world grab this book and enjoy this amazing start to Marcus story.
Wow let me tell you , you’re not Ready willow dose it yet again her writing sucks you in leaving you absolutely breathless I can’t wait for more this short story packs a punch..

The man in the shadows becomes clearer. You keep reading trying to make sense of what is happening and not entirely sure if the puppeteer is someone to like or makes every breath painful to take. This book leaves you breathless with anticipation of wanting more. This little taste is simply not enough and rereading the next book only will make things clearer and click.
OMG! Do You Want Me? might just be my favorite book of Willow’s yet! This is the prequel to This Love Hurts, my man Marcus’s story!! Let me tell you, this just whet my appetite and left me begging for more! I absolutely loved it!
Do you want me is a prequel to This Love Hurts which is coming soon. A little taster setting up the story that leads us to Marcus! Marcus has been a presence in the Merciless world throughout the whole story and my curiosity about this mysterious foe has only increased with every book I devour!
Well now it’s finally time to get closer to the man himself. Do You Want Me is mostly Delilah’s POV, giving us a taster of the woman that Marcus can’t get out of his mind. Set some years prior to where we are in the cross brothers universe right now. I loved getting more back story about Detective Walsh and Delilah before she fell from grace and ended up the inpatient in a mental health facility that we know her as now. With a few little surprises and of course some steam, it’s a great little read to suck you back into the Merciless Universe.
Willow has made a great decision here to entice her readers with this prequel to wet our appetite before we get stuck into the main course, and I am more intrigued now then ever!
This is the prequel to the long awaited and highly anticipated story of Marcus. Nothing needs to be read before this story because in truth while Marcus makes his appearances in many of the Merciless world books we know next to nothing about him.
It is a bit of a different start from what I’ve come to expect from Willow Winters. Instead of being dropped right into the story this prequel allows us to really starts at the beginning of it all. I am more intrigued than ever to know who Marcus is and what happened between him, Agent Cody Walsh, and Delilah. I’m drawn to the characters and the more I learn about them the more I want to know. I simply can’t get enough. This slow burn is sure to be explosive! I am buzzing and can not wait to hit the crescendo!!
This novella is the beginning of the sooo long awaited story about Marcus.
It starts with a flashback that enlightens some points that were mysterious, but leave far more questions unanswered. There are hints but they remain just that … hints.
The protagonists are entangled in a giant web of intrigues and half-truths, omissions and lies. Nothing is revealed, everything is hidden behind veils that only allow tiny glimpses of what might come …
Gah … I need more, so, so much more! The wait is pure torture …
This is a prequel introducing the main characters to Marcus story, This Love Hurts.
Ms. Winters gives more in depth details of Delilah,Agent Walch and the mysterious Marcus.
This is a short fast paced read.
But it packs a punch and lacks for nothing.
Except leaving me wanting more.
Since being introduced in the Merciless world Marcus has intrigued me to no end.
He’s always in the shadows.
But make no mistake he knows everything that is happening.
And he masterminds a lot of the happens himself.
For reasons yet to be revealed and uncovered.
I’m so excited that I’m one step closer to finally reading about Marcus!
Deliliah is a complex woman. Coming from a troubled family, she tries to put it behind her and concentrates on making something of her career as a lawyer. Agent Cody Walsh and Deliliah are drawn to each other, however, it seems to be out of convenience, as someone is watching them both. While their love affair is going on, a serial killer is on the loose. Marcus watches Deliliah closely knowing that soon he will make his move.
The beginning of Marcus’ story will leave you wondering just what will happen next.

The intensity of the slow burn will cripple you. Crafty and unexpected are the best words to describe the words penned so fluidly. This story is the perfect setup for the mystery held within the Merciless World. u2063

Diving deeper into characters that have been primarily in the background, you get a deeper understanding of why they are who they are. The anxiety you experience with any Willow novel is ready and waiting to grip you and break you down. u2063

**Not necessary to have read prior books, but it does enhance your experience
Gahhh! What an EPIC prequel, if it wasn’t for the fact that I was already fully invested in this upcoming story I would be now. Willow evokes chill after chill during this spine tingling peek into what is to come from Marcus’ long awaited moment. Delilah is a heroine that we needed in this world, head strong, smart and determined. Don’t even get me started on Officer Walsh and what he has to offer. I KNEW that man had some talents up his sleeve.
My adrenaline was pumping through the entire thing. The tension is deliciously high in so many ways that I read straight through. It’s seductive, intriguing, your heart rate will spike with every turn of the page and you will be begging for more. Just the tiniest bit more. I’m a slave to this storyline.
Oh my freakin word!!!
Willow Winters has done it yet a-freakin-gain!!
Do You Want Me? is I’ve been anticipating and fml do I ever want him!!
“ ℎ. ℎ ’ ℎ ’ ℎ.“
The – is here… he is the faceless man, the boogeyman that the lurks in the shadows, the master puppeteer, the enigma, he is… *whispers “”*
This prequel is not to missed. ! And GAHHHHH, yet it is so much more than I expected or could ever anticipate Willow has taken this a whole new level and she’s taken my heart and all my emotions with her for the ride of its life!
In Do You Want Me? we finally meet Marcus’ heroine and I’ve fell down the rabbit hole for the zillionth time, my emotions are at an all time high and I’m on the very edge of my seat… this is Willow Winters like we’ve never seen her before. I’m saying it again, ℎ , but what’s more is that this book can be read without any prior reading. This is the most perfect introduction to anyone yet to start this not to be missed author!
5+++ —
This was a enjoyable prequel to the much anticipated Marcus’ story. I thought it was an intriguing read that had a very different feel to it and when I say different I don’t mean bad, I just mean different. I think that this was simply because for the first time in a very long time since delving into all things related to the Cross Brothers world relatively new players took center stage. While this is the prequel to Marcus’ story it mainly focuses on us getting more info on Delilah and Agent Cody Walsh, their history, relationship and the ties that bind them to Marcus. As is always the case though, Marcus is a vital player in the background. This master puppeteer just loves to pull peoples strings and this entertaining read foreshadows many more epic and emotional Machiavellian games to come as his own story is finally revealed. This is my candid, volitional review.
I’m not sure where to begin?
Firstly, this can be read without having to read anything else before hand. It’s the start of Marcus’ story…. but I do highly recommend reading the entire series as well!
HOLY HELL… WHAT IS HAPPENING?! This isn’t like anything of Willow’s I have read before. It’s completely left me in shock… Well, more shock that normal and NEEDING MORE!!!
If you are familiar with this world Willow Winters has written then you would have heard about Marcus. The mysterious man in the shadows. I have been racking my brain on working out who this man is for so long. I have lost sleep thinking up possible ideas and the author has built the suspense up on this character and this prequel was the perfect start of what is promising to be an amazing series of books about this man. The man is dark, dangerous, mysterious, and alluring… Am I meant to hate him? I think I am but I don’t I already love this character and need to know more… The author has grabbed me hook, line and sinker and I am on the edge of my seat, eagerly waiting for whats to come! One thing I can say about Marcus and this book? You are not ready. I don’t think any of us are ready for his story… But BRING IT ON!!
5 Stars!
