Some days things just click. Today is not that day.
Love is a battlefield, and divorce attorney Sadie Howard is entrenched on the frontlines. She thought she might have met the right man once, but he was a career military guy who got shipped overseas and left her heart on the tarmac. These days, the only commitment Sadie wants is the one she’s made to her Denver law practice.
Combat photographer … photographer Roman Dvornakov is back. Fresh out of the U.S. Army, he’s using family connections to snap photos at a few weddings while he builds his civilian photography practice. After all he’s captured on film, a few posed wedding shots should be a cakewalk. Seeing so much death through the camera lens, he’s now ready to build something worth living for. A thriving photography business, definitely. But he’s certain his new mission also includes Sadie, the girl who slipped away.
Sadie isn’t convinced, and she’s not willing to open her heart anytime soon. Besides, she’s got a high-profile divorce case taking up all her attention. Winning the case for her client will make or break her practice. So what if it’s a custody dispute over a ridiculously expensive fish tank? When Roman discovers the soon-to-be divorced couple are still in love, he and his slightly-nutty grandmother, Babushka, are determined to convince them to cancel the proceedings. He’s not camera shy when it comes to matters of the heart, but interfering with Sadie’s clients could wreck her career and any chance they’ll ever have together…

Absolutely love this book and the series. How much in love they were when they first got together! Broke my heart when he left. Then he comes back it may not be so easy. But then there’s babushka! You can’t count her not to do what she does best! Highly recommend this author!
I loved “Do Me A Favor”. Very quick to take off in the love/romance/sex department and then a very slow burn till the author takes us to the hot stuff. Ten years is a long time to carry the torch, and yet deny that one has feelings for someone. Roman is so willing to start again but Sadie is holding back wanting her law career to take off, after all, she has worked hard for it. Roman left all those years ago; will he leave again if she opens up and confesses her love. But good old Babushka gets in there, and with the help of her friends and other family members, she pushes them together. Babushka had a bigger role in this book and it was fun to read how she meddles in other’s lives, successfully. Good read, cute couple, clever banter. Another winning novel.
This is the fourth book in the Mile High Matched Series. Sadie and Roman’s second chance to love is a hilarious Romantic Comedy. I loved to follow them in their journey. Babushka, Roman’s Grandmother, is such a great and hilarious supporting character! Vanessa Edwin and Tim Paige did a fantastic job with the narration. I highly recommend it. I was given a free review copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
What a fun, quirky, and sweet second chance romance! Sadie and Roman had the start of something great. That is until Roman made the biggest mistake of his life. Now years later he is determined to prove to Sadie that he is sorry, and win her back forever. Sadie has become jaded as a divorce attorney and isn’t convinced that she can have a forever love. But she never stood a chance at resisting Roman when his outrageously meddling Grandmother, and Sadie’s quirky clients get involved!
Vanessa Edwin and Tim Paige did a great job narrating this delightful romcom and bringing it to life. They easily brought out all of the different emotions that Sadie and Roman felt, from sassy to vulnerable, heartbreak to passion, and everything in between. I really enjoyed both their performances and thought they made this hilarious, and steamy romance even better!
Sweet and Hilarious with Awesome Narration! Audiobook review
I really loved everything about this book! It started out as a fun time between Roman and Sadie but when Roman came back from the military and saw her again, he wanted more than just fun. As he pursued Sadie and his Babushka got involved, you couldn’t help but laugh out loud! Sadie, being a divorce attorney, didn’t believe in 2nd chances and it was sweet listening to Roman trying to win her over. I loved their romance and all the other characters in the book. This was my first book by this author and I’m looking forward to listening to more by her. Tim and Vanessa were fantastic as narrators and their voices were perfect for this story. This was my first book narrated by Vanessa and her male voice was just as great as her female voice. I would definitely recommend this audiobook.
Do Me a Favor: A Second Chance, Hilarious Rom Com!
Mile High Matched, Book 4
By: Christina Hovland
Narrated by: Vanessa Edwin, Tim Paige
When Roman returns home after serving in the military, he isn’t expecting to see his old flame. Sadie goes to his brother’s wedding, and now he knows exactly what he wants. Sadie, an attorney is looking to build her practice as a divorce lawyer. She has no time or desire to get back with Roman. Or does she? The one that got away for both of them leads to so much fun and humor, I laughed all the way through. Sadie is ambitious and has seen so much with her experience as a divorce lawyer. Is it even worth falling in love? And Roman is the perfect man it is impossible not to fall for the warm feelings he has. But the real star of the book and the series is Baboushka, Roman’s grandmother. The master manipulator is out to get her great grandchildren and she will stop at nothing. So funny I was laughing out loud. So romantic, I was falling in love. This is a fantastic addition to the series.
Vanessa Edwin and Tim Paige as amazing narrators and each brings so much to this book. Their comedic timing is spot on. Edwin emanates Sadie’s feelings, from lust to frustration to love. Paige brings on the heat with is warm tones as Roman. Their voices bring this story to life and it’s just so good!

Fantastic RomCom & Narration A Sweet & Heartfelt Delight!
Do Me a Favor: A Second Chance, Hilarious Rom Com!
Mile High Matched, Book 4
By: Christina Hovland
Narrated by: Vanessa Edwin, Tim Paige
Christina Hovland pens another amazing novel for her fabulously delightful “Mile High Matched” series. This book, like the others in the series grabbed my attention right from the start and held it straight to the end. It is the type of book that puts a smile on you face and keeps it there. I adore the characters in this series, they are likable, realistic and easy to connect with. It was great to see the quirky, over the top, meddling Babushka again, I fell in love with her early on in the series. She is unpredictable and one of a kind, as the Dvornakov matriarch she always manages to get her way and no one can say otherwise or get a word in edgewise. This book is Roman Dvornakov and Sadie Howard’s book, Roman is Sadie’s brother Eli’s best friends and Jace’s older brother, both their stories were told in earlier books. Roman enlisted in the army after losing his grandfather and went on to become a successful combat photographer. Sadie is about to enter law school, it is her goal to become a courtroom attorney in a big city. One weekend off she hooked up with Roman who was home on leave. The two clicked, but he did not want to do the long distance relationship thing, she asked if he wanted her to wait for him but he did not want to ask that of her, his mind was set to his work. Fast forward ten years after a failed attempt to make it in a law firm in Chicago she headed home to Denver, Co. and started her own law practice, current case is a divorce. She winds up running into Roman at Jace and Heather’s wedding, she learns he is back home to stay. He wants a second chance with her, knows he screwed up letting her go years earlier but she won’t have it, she is bitter about relationships and is not interested in starting one. But Roman does not give up that easily and then he makes a big mistake, he asks for Babushka’s help. I loved how everything plays in this book, the story is brilliantly plotted and there is never a dull moment, there is plenty of drama, laugh galore, some heartfelt and emotional moments and a great second chance romance. Christina Hovland. Thank you for another wonderful story, the emotional rollercoaster ride and the laughs. This series is awesome, I loved the characters, the storylines and how much heart each book contained.
I listened to the Audible edition, Vanessa Edwin and Tim Paige are talented narrators and voice artists. They were perfectly casted to bring the characters to life, giving each their own distinct voice and personality. They did an awesome job portraying each character, grasping their persona and humanizing them with their emotions. Vanessa Edwin captured Sadie’s fierceness and determination, as well as her soft and vulnerable side. Tim Paige’s Roman was spot on too, you could hear how much heart he had. Both were great performing the voices for the secondary characters too, including Babushka’s Russian accent. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this fabulous listen
I absolutely loved reading this book, it was entertaining, funny and sexy too……Roman’s biggest regret was walking away from Sadie 10 years ago and now he has a second chance at fixing that.
But Sadie tells him that her career is more important than a relationship….so Roman enlists the help of his meddling Babushka….and thats where the fun begins…from misplaced cellphones, flat tyres and unwanted employees……….but Roman wont stop until Sadie realises that they are the perfect couple.

Career military photographer Roman and law student Sadie were only together for a brief but intense few days and she really fell for him. He broke her heart when he told her not to wait for him but it didn’t take long for Roman to realize he made a mistake. That was ten years ago. He’s home and determined to win Sadie back but she isn’t about to trust him with her heart again. He wholeheartedly pursues her, even enlisting the aid of his slightly wacky grandmother.
What a great story. It’s sexy, it’s fun, and it’s engaging. I couldn’t put it down. I love all of the characters and I enjoyed seeing what the couples from the previous books are up to. This is one heck of an entertaining story and I loved it.
I am voluntarily reviewing an advance reader copy of this book.

I’m always in the mood for a Christina Hovland book. The latest installment in the Mile High Matched series was her best one yet!
The writing will draw you in after only a few pages and have you finishing the book in one sitting.
There is the perfect amount of angst and romance to keep you hooked.
I loved how their relationship unfolded so we could see these amazing characters grow in ways you never expected.
I would suggest picking up a copy asap, you will NOT be disappointed!

This Book 4 in the Mile High Matched Series is well-written book in a standalone steamy second-chance romantic suspense featuring one female divorce attorney and a military war photographer. The characters are well-developed and have chemistry. The story centers on a childhood romance, intrigue, and betrayal, and it ends with a HEA. Good Read

I really enjoyed this second chance romance! It has incredible characters that are strong, independent, and well rounded. This is a story with heart, and humor. This read was a page turner for me. This was easy to enjoy as a standalone.

I must admit that I enjoy Ms Hovland’s sense of humour. I was smiling from page one and snort laughing in between. Roman and Sadie get their second chance which is riddled with babushka shenanigans. Sweet HEA.
I fell in love with Christina Hovland’s Mile High Matched series last year, so I jumped at the chance to read and review the fourth book in the series. I was not disappointed.
First of all, Babushka – how I love thee. And luckily, Sadie has a lot in common with her. Both amazingly strong women that just – pardon my french – don’t give a fuck. They are unapologetically themselves. Sadie may not have grown into herself as much as Nadzieja had, but she’s well on her way. And now that she’s with Roman, Babushka is in her life for good.
And Roman… *sigh* Fairly Alpha, creative, funny, charming, and he believes in love. I mean, how can you not want him as your book boyfriend.
I raced through this book the first time, and then got engrossed a second when I looked for quotes. 100% worth the read, and while you’re at it, read the entire series.
I’m giving this installment in the Mile High Matched series FIVE Russian prostitute stars.
Sadie and her brother best friend, Roman, have a lil fling. Sadie is dead set on it being that as she is off the law school and Roman will go back on duty. But as the weekend nears she wants more. She even offers to wait.
10 years later, they come across eachother and Roman has decided he was a fool and he’s now ready for everything Sadie offered 10 years ago. The only problem is, getting her on the same page. Roman leaving destroyed her last time and now that she is a divorce attorney, she doesn’t much believe in happily ever afters.
Throw in a meddling babushka (grandmother) and you have a recipe for hilarious high jinks and steamy romance.
So will Roman get a second chance to make things right? Definitely one-click now.
Christina Hovland’s “Do Me a Favor” was a charming, funny, and sweet story with plenty of laugh out loud moments and likeable, well-developed characters. Female lead character Sadie was clearly a born lawyer: smart, tenacious, and maybe a bit stubborn, but sweet, kind, and lovable just the same. I loved the way she was always arguing, even if it was only with herself. Sadie’s love interest, Roman, was also pretty great, very family-oriented with a wonderful sense of humor. He realized very quickly that he’d made a mistake with Sadie when they were together ten years earlier and was determined to convince her to give him a second chance, even if that meant enlisting the questionable matchmaking skills of his crazy Russian grandmother, Babushka.
I think Babushka meant well with her matchmaking, but her methods were unorthodox, to say the least, and she ended up being just as interfering and hilarious in this story as she was in the earlier ones. I enjoyed catching up with her, however, as well as the other characters from previous books who made cameo appearances, especially Eli (Sadie’s brother) and his wife Marlee (Sadie’s best friend). Marlee’s dog Lothario was back too, in all of his shoe-defiling glory. The bromance that developed between Roman, Eli, Roman’s brothers Jase and Zack, and their mutual friend Brek ended up being a lot of fun too.
I really hope that Ms. Hovland plans to write more stores in this series! This cast of characters is very entertaining and it seems like there is potential here for several future tales.

*I received an arc from Christine Hovland for an honest review*. Such an amazing author & book!! This is Sadie & Roman’s story who get their second chance when they both move back to Denver, CO ten years after they first got together. Let me tell you, you will be laughing out loud when reading it!! You will love Sadie & Roman and also the supporting characters, especially Roman’s Russian Grandmother Babushka. She is hysterical & loves to meddle with hilarious results! Sadie is distrustful after Roman broke her heart & after becoming a divorce attorney (doesn’t believe in second chances). Roman has to prove himself to her that he wants forever this time & that he’s willing to do whatever it takes to get her back. You will love their journey with its ups & downs to get their HEA. You’ll get all the feels & get some great laughs!! I highly recommend this book, series & author!! I’m looking forward to the next book!!
