Live…Laugh…Read…with New York Times-bestselling author Christie Craig….
Of the Divorced, Desperate and Delicious club, Kathy Callahan is the last surviving member. Oh, her two friends haven’t died or anything. They just gave up their vows of chastity. They went for hot sex with hot cops and got happy second marriages — something Kathy can never consider, given her past. Yet there’s … Yet there’s always her plumber, Stan Bradley. He seems honest, hardworking, and skilled with a tool.
But Kathy’s best-laid plans have hit a clog. The guy snaking her drain isn’t what he seems. He’s handier with a pistol than a pipe wrench, and she’s about to see more action than Jason Statham. The next 48 hours promise hot pursuit, hotter passion and a super perky pug, and at the end of this wild escapade, Kathy and her very own undercover lawman will be flush with happiness — assuming they both survive.

I love the series. Read one and wanted to read the others
Christie Craig has been one of my go-to authors when I’m looking for a lighthearted read with plenty of humor and intrigue. Once again, she’s proved herself reliable! This is the third book in the Divorced and Desperate series and it wraps up the stories of the original trio who started the Divorced, Desperate, and Delicious club. Kathy Callahan was the last member standing who hadn’t found her HEA and she was pretty sure she’d remain that way forever.
Oh, sure, she’s had some pretty good dreams about her plumber, Stan, but she intended to keep them dreams. Well, until Lacy and Sue talked her into something she knew she’d regret. In one afternoon, Kathy’s entire life is turned upside down and things she thought she knew she figured out she didn’t have a clue about. It’s a wild ride that may involve the WitSec program, mobsters, and a really ugly dog.
Even though this is the third in a series, you don’t have to read the previous books to enjoy this one. I have read them in order, but honestly? It’s been a couple of years since I finished the second book and so there were things I definitely don’t remember. The main point of the book isn’t the who-dunnit, but it does have some surprises you may not see coming.
There are 3 and they are really funny. there are others I will post more when I have time
01/05/2021 “Divorced, Desperate and Deceived” (nook) is an exciting romantic suspense that kept me reading long past bedtime. Kathy and Stan/Luke are wonderful characters who carry along their baggage as they run from danger. Their attraction for each other is obvious and distracting. Laughter is plentiful. A wonderful story.
