“This is classic sci-fi, a well-told tale of dangerous exploration. The first-person narration makes the reader an eyewitness to the vast, silent realms of deep space, where even the smallest error will bring disaster. Compellingly human and technically absorbing, the suspense builds to fevered intensity, culminating in an explosive yet plausible conclusion.”
—RT Book Reviews Top Pick
“Diving into the Wreck has much to offer, including what even Boss—the avid researcher into lost forms of science—describes as ‘secrets which, if understood, can teach us more about ourselves than any science can.’”
—Locus Magazine

Loved, LOVED the first person perspective. Tragic in a lot of ways. Enjoyed this book a lot and continued on with the next book.
Good reading. Maintains your interest through the entire story,\.
Good story line but slow going in between the story moving forward
I enjoyed the idea of wreck drive in space. The old tech they find. The chararters also interesting.
Wreck diving in space. The author must be a diver, she describes the feelings and dangers in exact detail but most of all the introspection and silence of diving. You really get to know the heroine and what makes her tick.
The hardy characters in this book explore (dive) old abandoned spacecraft for profit and historical purposes. All goes well until they explore an old earth ship with stealth capabilities. It is so dangerous that they want to want to destroy it before the government and long-lost relatives want to duplicate the stealth power.
Enjoyed the original plot and liked the characters. Buying more books in this series and checking out other books by this author!
Nice story with well developed characters who are shown with their faults as well as their strengths. Interesting storyline which draws a person in so you can’t put it down till you reach the end.
Poorly written with a bad plot and unrealistic action
I didn’t finish, lost interest
I really enjoyed this book! I wanted to find out what happens next so I read it quite rapidly. I will most likely get more books of the series.
I thought the metaphor of diving an ocean wreck to exploring/salvaging wrecked spacecraft was interesting but overdone. Space is so enormous that finding a spacecraft disaster would be very improbable unless information about the spacecraft’s last position and velocity vector were known, and the author missed her chance to develop this.
Such a fun, adventurous concept. I loved this space-faring escape.
I’m actually reading it t the moment but very impressed thus far, a different take on space salvage and forgotten knowledge.
I found this book to be a fun read. It was entertaining and kept my attention the whole way through.
I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series
I liked the book but it had a glaring error. Used calvary instead of cavalry. Otherwise it was entertaining
