Another outstanding book by Audrey Carlan, this time following Mila Mercado and Atlas Powers.
Meet veteran yoga instructor Mila Mercado. Mila was asked by the managers of Lotus House to attend one of the new class that had just started and asked to report back to the studio. Feeling that Mila had no idea that the truly over-confident, hot, ruggedly sexy newbie Atlas Powers was going to teach way more than just the very controversial and most erotic form of yoga.
Now meet Lotus House’s new instructor Atlas Powers. Atlas only really has two passions in life. His first is his music career and the second is to get the ever so sexy and steamy by-the-book Mila Mercado. Atlas decides to teach yoga by day and also tries to work on his passion by night. Well that’s until the fiery Mila walks into his first class and suddenly gives the term desire a whole new world dimension.
This is book three which gives into the most wicked and hottest tale of love and lust. Mila and Atlas are both two struggling artists. Both Milas and Atlas are trying to make their true passions Art and Music come true. The only one thing gets in the way; well until both Mila and Atlas stop fighting long enough to set the sheets on fire. The one thing both Atlas and Mila have in common is their day jobs teaching yoga. The yoga studio at Lotus House which has a divine desire that neither of Atlas and Mila can avoid.
Can Mila learn to trust and learn to love one man? Will Atlas get his big break in the music industry? Can both Mila and Atlas lean and also help each other find their way. What will it take for both of them to give in to their desire for each other? Can they find happy ever after???
Namaste
My first read of Audrey and I was not disappointed. What’s not to love about this story. Two hot yogi both have similar upbringing and family issues. Both have a creative outlet music and art.
Atlas teaches erotica yoga which is naked yoga, you will think it’s just about perving but it’s a lot deeper more about letting go.
Atlas and Mila first meeting is so lustful, he’s totally lusted after her, she thought he was a huge jerk. I loved the sexual tension. His dirty talking and her spitfire ways.
Both have issues with relationships, commitment, and abandonment which makes for a great read. You are kept in suspense wondering what’s going to happen next.
My first read of Audrey won’t be my last I absolutely loved it

Atlas and Mila are in a battle of will… and all’s fair in love and yoga. Mila is the human equivalent of too little butter too much bread. She kills herself with working to make ends meet and then tries to fit her real zeal for life in during her down moments. Mila has a gift and a way with Art. Something she would greatly love to share with the world if only she had enough time to complete enough work for a showing. When her muse is suddenly inspired by the man that has the ability to drive her bananas, she finds herself agreeing to his terms because she cannot not paint him. Atlas has been trying for years to make his dream of getting signed a reality. He knows that if it doesn’t happen soon, it probably won’t come to pass. When he see a kindred spirit of want in Mila’s eyes he knows just she’s looking for in regards to her Art. He also knows his wildcat wants him just as much as he wants her so he makes her a deal, she can follow her muse to him, if she gives into the carnal desires they both want. Inspiration and Perspiration follow in spades and Mila and Atlas find that together they make something pretty perfect together.
Hot hot hot! Sexy Latina, two beautiful artists, and a couple that doesn’t really make sense but ends up being the perfect mix… makes for a great story. I was new to Audrey Carlan but she has won me over with this series! Come read how these two jaded souls find each other and help each other become whole again.
Mila and Atlas have amazing chemistry!
Who would’ve thought that these two yogis who fight like cats and dogs and who both have daddy and abandonment issues were meant to be together? This is a pretty fast paced love story between Mila, the sassy sarcastic Latina, and Atlas, the laid back blonde haired, blue (and brown) eyed musician who likes to push her buttons. Both have been single so long they can’t see they found true love even when it’s staring them in the face. They figure it out eventually though, and all it takes is them opening up about their past and a couple (or more) steamy nights between the sheets. Its a fun read, definitely recommend.
Mila had been teaching yoga for a long time but her secret desire is to make art. She does it in her free time, when she can. Her friend wants her to move in with her and her daughter so that she can focus more on her art but Mila just isn’t sure.
Atlas is used to having whoever he wants. He just recently started working where Mila works and he cant forget about her. He wants to be a musician or at least write music and doesnt know how he can make it work.
Will they be able to work it out and be happy?
I was a little disappointed in this book. Not as good as the first 2 in the series, but if you plan on reading the whole series then I wouldn’t skip this one. That said there are a few interesting elements as well. I’ll leave that for you to discover on your own.
My biggest complaint was that the main conflict in the story was a big, blatant, ultimate double standard. If it were me, I would rewrite the story with a less sexist conflict. JMO.
