Paige and Lucas had a lot to overcome. Both are stubborn and determined. Paige was thoughtful and smart. Lucas has many regrets, mainly what happened with Paige. Now they are forced to be together. As they spend time together, can they see what has always been there? Their story was emotional, angsty, and captivating.

Happy reading!
I am loving this series of standalones by Kelly Elliott! There is something about second chance romances that get me in the feels every single time and Divided Interests was no different. Lucas and Paige were each other’s first loves and when they broke up they never planned on seeing each other again… a hilarious grandparent gets involved. I loved Paige and Lucas. Their chemistry is still there after many years apart and watching these two find their way to each other was so sweet.
4.5 stars
Second chance romances are a weakness of mine. When I saw the blurb for Divided Interests I was immediately sucked in. This book made me shake my head and laugh out loud more than once. It had a touch of mystery that I didn’t see coming, but truly enjoyed. Overall this book made me smile and I enjoyed it.
I enjoyed meeting Paige and Lucas. These two were stubborn and it was fun to watch them break down each other’s walls again and fall back into love with each other. They didn’t have a smooth path, which I think actually helped me believe in their story even more. You can feel the chemistry right away but these characters both had some growing to do before they could be together again and I think the Author handled that well. Their banter was fun and did make me laugh out loud. Their sexy times were definitely sexy as well.
I enjoyed falling into this little world. I thought the supporting characters were fun and enhanced the story instead of overwhelming it. The mystery element kept me engaged as well, but again, it didn’t take away from the romance that was brewing. I thought the pacing of the story worked well; it wouldn’t have been as believable to me if things moved more quickly.
I fell into this story and it kept me interested and intrigued throughout. There were times I wanted to shake the characters (both of them!) but honestly? It just made them seem all the more real to me. I laughed and smiled with this story. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it.

Divided Interests is the third book in Southern Bride Series and follows the story of Paige and Lucas. Once upon a time, Paige and Lucas had the love and relationship that people dream of. But, when Paige wants to spread her wings and explore the world, she ends up getting her heart broken. Years later, a death in the family will reunite these former lovers. Paige and Lucas don’t want to be around each other, but fate has other plans. When Paige and Lucas are left a house, all Paige wants to do is restore it its former glory, while Lucas wants nothing more than to buy Paige out and sell the house. However, being in this old house brings back memories that neither one of them is eager to remember. It’s stirring up feelings that have been long forgotten. Will Paige and Lucas find their way back to one another? Or will the past be too hard to move on from?? There’s only one way to find out….
Divided Interests is a fantastic second romance with an enemies to lovers vibe. I loved the idea of these two former lovers becoming owners of the house they once loved. I mean, what could possibly go wrong with this scenario? I loved the push and pull and how the chemistry was still there, maybe even stronger than ever. Lucas is ashamed of the decisions he made in the past, but is letting his ego get in the way. He’s afraid of what will happen if he admits he was wrong. And then we have Paige. All Paige has ever wanted is Lucas. But, when Lucas broke her heart all those years ago, she was never able to heal. She was living life in a stand still. So, when fate threw these two back together, I couldn’t wait to see how their story would play out. I loved the emotions that this story pulled out of me and how it left me begging for more.
Overall, I found this book to be a very enjoyable read. The plot was fun and entertaining. I loved how Lucas and Paige were thrown together. I loved the will they/won’t they moments. I enjoyed the scavenger hunt that Lucas’ grandfather had them on. I loved the mystery that also surrounded the story. There was some drama, but thankfully, nothing over the top. It had the perfect balance of everything that I was looking for.
Divided Interests was a terrific story from beginning to end and I thoroughly enjoyed getting lost in Lucas & Paige’s story.
Once again Kelly Elliott has captured my heart. The Southern Bride Series has become one of my favorites. Lucas & Paige were once the best of friends but also a couple until they went their separate ways. When Lucas‘s grandfather brings them back together they both realize that they never really stopped loving one another.

No one writes small town Texas second chance romance like Kelly Elliott and she continues to prove it with the latest installlment in her Southern Brides series. Paige and Lucas have a long history together. High school sweethearts that had their lives and futures planned out…until they weren’t. Plans changed and hearts were broken. Now, they find themselves a few years later back in their small hometown and of all things, living together, all because of Lucas’s meddling deceased grandfather.
From the first page to the very last, this story had me enthralled so much so that I simply couldn’t put this book down even if I wanted to. It’s obvious how much in love these two still are, but can’t seem to get out of their own way. Their chemistry leapt off the pages and screamed HAWT HAWT HAWT. Seeing them finally get their heads out of their a$$es was one for the books, and that twist Elliott throws us in the end just catapulted this story to one of my favorites of the year so far.

Kelly Elliott wows us yet again with her newest release Divided Interest! I love a good second chance romance and this one was everything I had hoped it would be and so so much more. This series has had my heart from the start and I adored the first two books, but this one is my favorite so far.
Even thought there were times at the beginning that I wanted to knock him in the head, I fell head over heels in love with Lucas. He had me swooning hard and quickly melted my heart.
Paige is the kind of girl I couldn’t help but want to be friends with. Her love of Top Gun and refusal to give into Lucas had me loving her from the start.
I couldn’t get enough of their story and read it in one sitting. I highly recommend one-clicking this one!
Paige has always loved Lucas’s grandfather’s house. Imagine her surprise when he died, he left half of the house to her and half to Lucas. Even though Paige and Lucas used to be everything to each other that ended years ago.
Life went on, not always smoothly and with regrets but then the house situation is right there in their faces. What are they they going to do? Will they finally be able to clear the air about what happened years ago? Will it mend broken hearts or will it finally let them move on?
I adored Paige but I wanted to punch Lucas a few times even though I really liked him. That’s clear as mud right? LOL
This is a great second-chance romance from Kelly Elliott. You will be hooked and ready to see how this story is going to play out once you start.
Paige and Lucas had planned to spend their lives together until the time came for college and their plans changed. Now they are both back in town, face to face and having to work out if the spark has truly died or they can have a that second chance at happiness.
As always with Kelly’s writing I was drawn in and she had me laughing at certain points, swooning and also shedding a few tears but I loved every word.
As always Kelly brought us entertaining secondary characters that I could happily read more from.
Oh what a wonderful story of Lucas and Paige. Young love that grows into an undeniable love, that is what these two had. But when they go to different colleges things change and dreams change. Years later they find themselves back in their hometown. Can these two find a common ground. I laughed out loud alot but this has a heartfelt story that you will Love so much.
4.5 Second Chance Stars!
Kelly Elliott really knows how to pack a punch in this second chance romance. Dolls, the chemistry in Divided interests is INSANE! Every time Lucas and Paige are in the vicinity of each other, driving each other bonkers, my kindle nearly LIT UP! I loved every page of Lucas and Paige coming back together after more than 10 years being apart.
There’s so many delicate moments in this story that made me love it all the more. Reconnecting Lucas and Paige, they vibe so hard together. Instantly, from the first look, they were either going to kill each other or love each other hard. Kelly Elliott crafted a joyous story of exploring a family secret, rediscovering an old love and moving forward when there’s no sense in waiting any longer to be with the love of your life. She brings such joy to my heart with her words and a happily ever after that leaves me smiling for days afterwards.
Divided Interests is my favorite so far of the Southern Bride series. I can’t wait to read the next!!
As usual great story by Kelly Elliott. Lucas and Paige had history, childhood sweethearts that broke up when they both went to different colleges. Fast forward 10 years they both return to their small town and its a twist. These two still loved each other but was salty towards each other because of the pasta and things that happened when they were separated. I was mad at Lucas because it seemed very hypocritical of him because it was the reason he broke up with Paige. The road for forgiveness wasn’t easy and when they finally put their past behind them Lucas was just downright adorable trying to make Paige happy. Paige was amazing and had a big heart. There were secrets from revealed from the past that was wayyyy before these two were born and you understood everything else better. Great story with great secondary characters with the exception of Bianca.
Broken hearts, lost souls and a scavenger hunt. Divided Interests takes the scenic route to happily ever after. Elliott captures hearts with a haunting tale of love lost and found. The journey takes readers through a past filled with heartache and regret into a present that needs a chance to hope. Young love, foolish pride and an old house pave the way for a new beginning for one special couple. Lucas and Paige take a unique approach to love with mesmerizing results.
A true storyteller, Kelly Elliott just keeps getting better and better.
This book is a MUST READ book! Ohhhh….this book will hit you in all the feels. You will feel a lot of different emotions while reading this beautiful second chance story.
Their story is going to be one that you will stick with you long after the pages are done. Once you turn to that last page your heart is going to feel like it might just burst out of your chest.
What I love is that this story has a bit of mystery to it. Sort of like a treasure hunt. And it’s so fun to follow their journey.
Y’all are going to want to one-click this as soon as it’s live!!
Highly recommended.
*I was given a free advanced copy of this book by the author in exchange for my honest and voluntary review.*
Divided Interests is the third instalment (standalone) in the Southern Bride series and this series has to be one of my favourite.
Lucas and Paige are high school sweethearts, hearts get broken and a death who is close to both, bring them together again.
Let Lucas and Paige’s story unfold by a treasure hunt, with a key and to find a chest to that key, with many finds and stories of the past that bring these two beautiful souls together again.

I don’t even know where to begin with this review. I fell in love with this story the moment I started reading it and ended up staying up until 2am finishing it. I couldn’t stop. I was completely sucked into Paige and Lucas’s relationship and their story.
It was supposed to be forever for Paige and Lucas, until one decision changed the course of their lives. Flash forward 9 years, they are forced to talk to each other. They are also roommates and co-owners of a ranch. Being forced together leads to tension and old feelings coming to the surface. There is so much chemistry between the two of them.
Lucas couldn’t keep his foot out of his mouth in the beginning and kept screwing up when it came to Paige, but he redeems himself. Lucas is a swoon worthy book boyfriend that will have you falling head over heels. Paige, despite being heartbroken, has recovered. She is strong and determined.
I LOVED Paige and Lucas. I loved their story. I Loved every single thing about this book. I didn’t expect it to go the way it did and it was beautiful, emotional and add in a small town setting it was perfect. Kelly Elliott NEVER disappoints and Divided Interests is a MUST READ, a TOP READ of 2020 and one of my absolutely favorite books from Kelly.
5 Loving the Mystery Stars!!!!!
I am willing to bet my bottom dollar that Kelly Elliott cannot not write a bad story!!!! I absolutely love everything she writes and this story gave me everything I have grown to love about her writing.
Lucas and Paige were everything I was looking for this weekend. Their story was fabulous and add to that the little mystery Ms. Elliott threw in there and it made it spectacular. I loved everything about these two and the little mystery they went on together. The sexy banter, the inclusion of their friends and family and let us not forget Oreo! It was just a great read!
Divided Interests is the third book in Kelly Elliott’s Southern Bride series. It’s a small town, light enemies-to-lovers, second chance romance with all the feels. Elliott added just a bit of mystery with a little bit of a treasure hunt that made the plot extra intriguing.
Lucas and Paige have a history together. After living separate lives for the past 10 years, they are thrown back together in a surprise turn of events. In a battle of wills, neither of them willing to give in, they soon find themselves living together in the house that was left to them both. Soon the house starts revealing secrets of it’s past, forcing Lucas and Paige to face their past head on.
I’ll start by saying I LOVED the banter between Lucas and Paige. It was flirty and fun, and even when they were arguing it was never truly mean. Their passion was intense and despite all they’d been through, they never denied their love for one another, at least to themselves. There was a lot of hurt and miscommunication in the past that they needed to get over before they could truly move forward, but once they did, the chemistry was palpable through the pages.
I loved Paige and how feisty, caring, trusting, and smart she was. She didn’t let Lucas intimidate her and she held her ground with the house. I liked Lucas from the start, he just had to work a little harder than Paige did for me to completely fall for him. He often said the wrong things, despite his good intentions. It was a beautiful thing watching him fall.
If second chance romances with all the feels are your thing, this is one you don’t want to miss.

5 Star Read!
GAH! Kelly, you did it again! Your novels bring tears to my eyes every time!
Second Chance romances are not always my favourite in the romance genre, but this book surpassed all my expectations!
Lucas and Paige are perfect for each other! Did I want to slap Lucas upside the head sometimes? Absolutely! However, I know most of his actions were from the love he had for Paige and the pain he had from losing her years before.
Granddad, William, bringing them together the way that he did was brilliant. It was interesting to discover some of the family history at the same time Lucas and Paige’s love was blooming.
Ore0 = LOL!
I recommend anything by Kelly Elliott, she is brilliant in her writing.
Looking forward to book #4 🙂
Kelly Elliott never disappoints me!
In my opinion she went out of the box with this book adding a little bit of mystery to the story. And I have to say it was fun
N ow let me tell you about Lucas Foster. Is he swoon worthy? 100%
I also loved his honesty even if it took him awhile to get his head on straight…lol. Lucas and Paige were truly a perfect match,,
