Becca Malone was set on taking vows to become a nun, but her eating a piece of bonding fruit cake led her to experiencing something with Truth and Far she never expected. The brothers want Becca to choose one of them but they are Twin Kindreds and when it comes to Twin Kindreds it is never one or the other, it’s always both. Truth and Far have lived very different lives and raised with very different beliefs, but Far wants his twin; he wants to share the bond with him that Twin Kindreds share but Truth refuses to go against his Rai’ku beliefs. Becca’s parents would never accept her being with two males, Truth refuses to bond with his brother and Becca and Far wants to bond with both Becca and Truth but it seems impossible. Demon UR is determined to take over the Kindred mother ship and the best way to gain control is through the unmated males. If there is any chance at saving the unmated males, Becca, Truth and Far must work together to not only save Truth from a force waiting until the right time but to help protect everyone aboard the mother ship from the harm. The journey they make will not only bring them closer, but it will share parts of each of their lives they wanted to keep hidden. It’s only then that you will realize why Becca, Truth and Far fight against and for what they want. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series. I’m excited to read more about Garron; Truths half-brother. This series is great for all paranormal lovers and its best understood if the series is read in order.
Great reading!
So damn hot I had to stop reading for awhile. The author outdid herself this time. I love this series so much.
Sometimes you can’t get past the character you don’t like. Divided is one of those books. Truth is that character.
Becca Malone forsakes her calling as a nun after encountering some bonding fruit at a wedding and gets involved with Twin Kindred Truth and Far. Truth and Far were separated at birth and can’t connect. Becca can bridge that if she can put her fears aside and join with them.
Okay, this is sorta-kinda like Bridging the Distance and Sought put together. I might like the idea of Twin Kindred and not be able to like Twin Kindred and therein lay my problem. I enjoyed these books all the same, 3 stars.
Becca is annoying; Truth is insufferable, Far is the only one of the triumvirate I liked, and sometimes his Light Twin stuff makes me want to gag. Divided isn’t the book for me.
Bridging the Distance: A Kindred Tales Novel (Brides of the Kindred)
Sought
I love the story but again the heroine passed denial into annoying. But you can’t help but keep reading!
This was a pretty decent read but as usual the heroine Becca denial was beyond annoying. I really wish for once that heroine wouldn’t be filled with self loathing it gets to be so annoying when they can’t make there mind up when really in the back of their mind they know they want to do it all on. But you can’t help but be addicted to the series anyways. Overall a good read.
