PARTY CRIME (#11 in the Kat Makris series) is out now! There’s no offer for her to refuse …Kat Makris was a little girl when her father spun wild and outrageous bedtime stories about Baboulas, the Greek boogeyman, a lawless creature with a penchant for stealing gold and clashing with the gods. Now Kat is twenty-eight, single, a couch potato in a cube farm, when her father goes missing. Without … when her father goes missing. Without him, she’s alone in the world. Before the police can work their mojo, she herself is abducted by a couple of hoods with crooked noses, and she quickly discovers her father’s old stories were true—true crime, that is. Baboulas is an infamous mob boss in Greece, and Baboulas is the one who has Kat holed up in a private plane bound for Greece.
Now, to find her father, Kat must face the boogeyman …
Somewhere between Stephanie Plum and Michael Corleone you’ll find Kat Makris. DISORGANIZED CRIME is a humorous look at family—and Family.

Quickly becoming one of my favorite authors! Funny, imaginative, and colorful.
Great book by author Alex A. King. One of a series of eight books that are too funny, extremely original and loads of fun! Can’t wait for book number nine!
It appears an interesting series, but I’ll not continue it. Nevertheless, it was a great read.
I enjoyed the character so much that I bought the next in the series.
this was a fun book to read that several times made me laugh out loud.
What happens to an all-American girl who’s world is suddenly turned upside down? She lands in Greece, of course!
This is the amazingly funny, classically clever, laugh-out-loud adventure of a young woman who falls asleep (read “is drugged”) and wakes up a Mafia Princess. (Didn’t see that one coming did you?) Delightfully creative
metaphors and plenty of unexpected twists
mingle to create this fast-paced romp of fun, fancy and mystery. This has got to be your next read!
Normally I can read anything, but I just could not get into this book.
This book was fun to read, but it did not have a satisfactory ending. There had been no indication that this was just first of a set of books. So it left me very disappointed.
The book was ok. I did not like that the end of the book left me hanging.
Although, this book was ‘funny’ in a weird sense, I didn’t like the characters too much. Two of them were made to be totally bumbling less intelligent men who were scared of all the women in their lives, and the others were just so-so The main one was portrayed as a ‘stubborn, tough kind’ of woman, but got things done while trying to be a ‘woman’ too. The book has just a little too much of bathroom humor (bodily functions in detail at times) and cuss words. The plot could have survived without either, in my opinion. Thus, the two stars. 🙁
Definately going to read the others in this series. I loved the characters and want the rest of the story.
Fun book for a quick read with some twists and turns.
The only negative is it’s a series and though the story ends, there are unanswered parts. I assume they will be answered in the following books
Lots of twists and turns to keep me guessing. Enjoyed very much.
Love the characters in this book.
