PARTY CRIME (#11 in the Kat Makris series) is out now! There’s no offer for her to refuse …Kat Makris was a little girl when her father spun wild and outrageous bedtime stories about Baboulas, the Greek boogeyman, a lawless creature with a penchant for stealing gold and clashing with the gods. Now Kat is twenty-eight, single, a couch potato in a cube farm, when her father goes missing. Without … when her father goes missing. Without him, she’s alone in the world. Before the police can work their mojo, she herself is abducted by a couple of hoods with crooked noses, and she quickly discovers her father’s old stories were true—true crime, that is. Baboulas is an infamous mob boss in Greece, and Baboulas is the one who has Kat holed up in a private plane bound for Greece.
Now, to find her father, Kat must face the boogeyman …
Somewhere between Stephanie Plum and Michael Corleone you’ll find Kat Makris. DISORGANIZED CRIME is a humorous look at family—and Family.

I enjoyed this book so much I finished the entire series in about a week! Super fun and easy to read. Characters are cute and story continues through all the books.
I cannot get enough of this series. The characters are so comical and the author never misses an opportunity to make me laugh. A+++
I’ve just both completed the first and second book in the Kat Makris Greek Mafia novels and I’m hooked!
The first novel, Disorganized Crime, starts with Kat Makris living a safe but boring life in Portland OR until her father was kidnapped. Finding out she has a grandmother in Greece was a huge surprise but then learning she was the head of a Greek Mafia family really put the icing on the cake. Being half American, Kat is much more direct in her search for clues to her Dad’s kidnappers than her wily Greek family so Kat is often in need of assistance from her Grandmother’s right-hand man, gorgeous but silent Xander or the equally hot Detective Nikos Melas. The plot expands in the second book, Trueish Crime.
Story has a very interesting plot in a place not often written about. I loved the authors snarky one-liners.
This is a little disjointed and took me a couple of chapters to get into it, but it’s a funny zany ride. I liked it. Worth the read.
This was a very funny.
I loved this book and each book in the series gets even better! If My Big Fat Greek Wedding and The Godfather had a family, it would be this series. Hilarious!
Love the whole series
Interesting premise to book and some interesting characters. Will be getting the next in series. Does drag a bit in parts and a little unrealistic in others but it is fiction and entertaining
very interesting, looking forward to reading the next in this series.
Lots of action in an exotic location. Interesting characters and a well developed fast moving story.
This was a very entertaining book. There were parts that I laughed out loud. It has a fun the plot and with one characters perspective of family from Greece. Loved it so much I bought a collection of the series.
I love this series! This is the first book in a great line of entertainment. The characters become friends, and I can’t wait for the new books to come along.
Great story! A fun easy read! I hope there is a book 2!
I didn’t like the ending. It left you with questions on what happened to some of the characters.
Just read this book and was very entertaining
Enjoyed characters so much went on to rest of series.
The way the Greek Mafia was portrayed makes me definitely want to find out what happens next to Kay and her “crazy” but fun family
Loved this book until the last page. The End? What about all the loose ends in the book?
Definitely one of those books that when you reach the last page you immediately search for the second in the series.
