I knew falling for him was wrong. I did it anyway, his half smiles and blue eyes pulling me deeper. Blue eyes that made me soar. He wasn’t mine to keep, though. And like all good and rare things, it came to an end. Then he strolls into my life, armed with dimples and gray eyes. Gray eyes that ground me. He smashes through my defenses, stealing what is left of my heart. Now my heart is a war zone, … is a war zone, past and present battling for my forever.
They say lightning doesn’t strike the same place twice. I call bullshit on that theory.

The heart wants what the heart wants!
How do you navigate the bumpy terrain of young love and know you’re making the right decisions?! Your head tells you one thing and your heart wants to lead the way. Sol and Grace are young, they have so much life to live and yet tough choices need to be made.
After reading Desolate, I knew the journey for Sol and Grace wouldn’t be easy. My heart was in my throat with every page I turned. Love is hard, it’s a lot of work and when you’re young like Sol and Grace the pressures can be overwhelming.
Sol hasn’t changed, he’s fabulous and I absolutely love his devotion to the commitments he’s made in life. He wants to honor them, but yet at the same time it’s tearing him apart. While I think Grace should experience life, I found her frustrating at times. I empathized with her confused heart and I hope she can find her way.
I can’t wait for the conclusion to Sol and Grace’s love story. These two have captured my heart and I only want good things
So now that I’ve caught my breath and my heart has slowed down maybe I can write some semblance of a review. Holy moly and omg!!! This book had me flipping the pages faster then I thought possible needing to know what happened. And then I got to the end and I needed it to not be the end! I need more like yesterday!!! Holy moly I can’t wait for more!!
This is book two of a trilogy and a direct continuation of the story of Sol and Grace.
Two hearts breaking, because love that’s a dirty secret, isnt enough. Tears, and goodbye to what could of been if she was his first choice.
He walks away knowing he owes the truth to those he gave his promise, to those he took a vow for. Hoping for the best but knowing the consequences could be dire.
She leaves knowing shes worth more, but wishing things could be different.
They have danced around each other for so long, but now life is forcing them on different paths, will their time come? can things be different or are they simply not meant to be…
Oh my gosh my heart is still racing now!
The story of Sol and Grace will rip your heart to shreds, frustrate you no end, and ultimately give you hope.
Their love is so epic and totally endless. They are like a modern day Romeo and Juliet.
Sol was the golden boy of the community and has fallen off his pedestal with his love for her.
He melted my heart with his words, and declarations. If only he knew what he wanted from the start their story would be so different.
Grace is fierce and feisty when it comes to those she loves, yet soft and unsure other moments.
Shes not very experienced in matters of the heart, which I think is one of many endearing traits that appealed to me. Her innocence and naivety especially concerning love and matters of the heart make you want to take her under your wing.
A very angst driven emotional read. So much inner turmoil, longing and utter devastation leading to disappointment and anger.
Autumn Grey builds you and breaks you like it’s nothing when really its everything. It’s a talent few have and my gosh she does it so well!
I cant wait for the final part of the trilogy knowing there are so many different ways the story could end. The anticipation is killing me already!!
I only hope I dont have long to wait for the true answers!
This is the highly anticipated follow-up to Desolate. It picked up where the story ended in the first book. A story about a love between two people who don’t seem to get a happy ending. Not because they don’t love each other but it seems every obstacle is getting in the way… It’s also a story about hope and trying to deal with heartbreak. You can either let it dictate your life or try to move on and find yourself. It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions and I’m now patiently waiting for the conclusion to this trilogy which is hard to do ‘cuz I want answers after that ending 🙂
Grace has left Solomon behind and is trying to do whatever it takes to get through the hardest time of her life. After going on a much deserved break, she’s ready to go to college and take back control. When she meets Levi, there’s this instant chemistry between them but Grace is still recovering from a broken heart. Although Levi is slowly breaking down her walls, both their past has a way to intervene and maybe there’s still something lingering there between Sol and Grace, especially now he’s back and is determined to win her heart back. But Levi won’t give up on Grace that easily either. Will Grace be able to make a choice?….
*I have to say and I hate to say it, that I struggled to let Levi in as I just love Solomon and couldn’t see Grace with someone else but that’s just a personal side note. An author writes the story and we read it with our own eyes, we feel it in our own way. That’s the beauty about a story.*
I knew I would be in for a rollercoaster of emotions but I was not prepared for what I just read! A plot I originally didn’t see coming and absolutely loved it!
I felt everything along with Grace and Sol and at times I just wanted to talk some sense into them! An amazing book that had my heart all over the place.
I could not put it down so be prepared for not accomplishing anything while you read it! I dont know how I’m going to wait for the final book!!
Autumn Grey has definitely wrote her heart out with Book two in this trilogy. Disgraceful is even more intense than Desolate and took me on an emotional journey. This was a emotionally charged story about growing up, finding your true self and finding your purpose in life.
Disgraceful continues where the first book ends – with Grace and Sol standing at a crossroad. Two soulmates desperately in love with each other. But heartbreaking decisions must be made on both sides and now Grace and Sol need to live with the consequences of their actions. This story shows that we all make mistakes even with the best intentions because we are human and we have our own flaws and imperfections.
Autumn Grey has a sublime eloquence in her writing and she writes with so much heart. She has truly captured the emotional anguish and turmoil, the internal struggle between the mind and the heart between two young people with a love that is so deep and all-consuming. I’m very much looking forward to the conclusion in Absolution – the final installment in this trilogy.
I absolutely loved book 1, but book 2 was even better! I have been waiting for Disgraceful for what feels like forever, simply to get more from these amazing character and this authors wonderful words.
Disgraceful continues from where Desolate ended, so we are thrown straight back into the anguish and heartache experienced by both Sol and Grace. Both characters hearts are breaking, yet not only do they have to be apart, they also need to be apart. Both for themselves and each other.
From the blurb we know that there is a new guy in Grace’s life. Just as she’s moving on, Levi comes into her life making her question everything she thought she knew. But with Levi having his own baggage, Grace still desperately in love with Sol, is this friendship doomed from the start?
With Sol doing his own soul-searching and developing so much as an individual in this book, when he realises that Grace may have moved on what will Sol do?
The angst levels in this book are HIGH!!! My heart rate must have spiked so many times… then it stopped. Dead. All together. Because that ending… that cliff-hanger!!! My word, I need to the next book NOW!!!
This second instalment in the trilogy was simply amazing, and I simply cannot wait for book three… although I must say I am massively nervous as to what Autumn Grey can possibly do to my heart next!!
5 beautiful Stars
Wow! Just wow! To say that I enjoyed this book and these characters is a gross understatement my friends. As the second installment in the Grace trilogy by Autumn Grey, Disgraceful has been one of my most anticipated books of the year, and unsurprisingly did not disappoint! This series is an absolute addiction, and I can’t even fathom waiting for the conclusion! Add to your TBR NOW!
Author Autumn Grey has such a talent for evoking intense emotion with her words, and the angst she’s built in this series continues in Disgraceful. It’s highly emotional, perfectly poignant, and deeply moving. Describing this book appropriately without spoilers is incredibly difficult. I will say you can expect an emotional roller coaster ride of epic proportions, all the feels, and all the angst. Grace’s conflicition and journey to accept herself, Sol’s loss of direction and determination to become the man she needs, that damn half-smile, dysfunction, betrayal, intense connections – this book has it ALL!
In reflection, I’ve never felt more torn throughout a book as I did for these characters. My heart both hurt and soared, my emotions were all across the board, and I was literally reading on the edge of my seat! Disgraceful is entirely unputdownable, and I read it straight through. An absolute must read, & all the stars. You do not want to miss this incredible series! Enjoy xo
I voluntarily received an ARC in exchange for an honest review, xo
Love triangles are messy and somtimes I struggle with how an author puts them together. But and that is a BIG but Autumn did it beautifully. You can’t help but love all the characters and their heartbreaks. There is so much emotion in this book it pours from the pages. I was left a sobbing mess with my heart shattered but it was so worth every second. This is one of my all time favorite cliffhangers. I can’t wait to see where the next book will take us.
Oh my God!
Y’all….. oh my… this book will split you in two. It’s absolutely heartbreaking. It’s a roller coaster ride with ups and downs and twist and turns. You know I heard a buzz about this book beforehand and i am so glad I didn’t listen to those who have not read this because this book is just as amazing as the first if not more.
Now instead of loving two characters I love three. And it has a great supporting cast of characters also who I hope get there own stories. Yes this ends with a cliffhanger too after all it is a trilogy but hey I knew that going in. I’m loving this series and can’t wait for the last book.

*Review by Michelle
Im not really sure where to start with this review, I’m still trying to process that ending! Disgraceful focuses on Grace and her journey to discover who she is and what she wants, but love and matters of the heart are fickle, confusing and show no mercy. I found myself conflicted while reading. I love Sol and Grace. I want them together and their HEA, but Autumn had to go and create Levi who is charming and sweet and under any other circumstances I’d be all about him and Grace being together! I was fighting with myslef not to get attached to Levi and his relationship with Grace, but he definitely has his moments and really cares for Grace. I can’t imagine how much more messy Grace, Sol and Levi’s story will get, but I have a feeling we’re all in for quite the ride in the next book!
After finishing book 1 Desolate I couldn’t wait to get more Grace and Sol. No doubt about that. As individuals and as a couple. I’m Team GraSol all the way.
Disgraceful picks up right where Desolate ended. First real love and heartbreak is something you’ll always remember. Grace and Sol are nursing their first heartbreak while still being so much in love. They needed time apart. To figure themselves out. To explore and enjoying life. To be a better person for the other. They’ll meet new people and maybe experience new love again. That’s the case for Grace. A guy tries to break down her walls. A good guy named Levi. But for me I was struggling a lot to let him in. To see him with Grace cause I’m Team Sol all the damn way. That’s a complement and testament to Autmn Grey’s writing. With GraSol she has set the bar so high that I’ve become fiercely protective of this couple. No guy is good enough for Grace except Sol.
Grace is only nineteen and wants to experience college life with all that entails. Frat parties and maybe fall in love again. Levi is a good guy who genuinely likes Grace but he’s struggling with something too. They both want to escape from something or someone so they seek solace in each other. They develop a friendship which slowly becomes more.
I was holding my breath for Sol’s return cause I knew he wouldn’t give up on his Gracie and I was right. GraSol has incredible chemistry. Their history goes way back to when they were 10 years old. Whenever they’re around one another sparks fly. I hoped and prayed I wouldn’t be hurting throughout this book but I was. It was intense and emotional. That ending! Not cool but it bodes well for the final installment of this wonderful Grace Trilogy. More angst and all consuming love. But most important of all more Grace and Solomon.
4 My First and Last Stars
Oh, the angst! The book fulfilled the need for an angsty-driven romance read! I will say, this book is #2 in a series and picks up right where book #1 left off so I highly recommend you reading book #1 to get the full effect.
I was in love with book #1 (Desolate) and I was so excited to read this book early! I fell in love with this story line. Disgraceful did not disappoint. It had all of the elements that I love. Romance, love triangle, angst, and steamy scenes!
I was so torn between the characters. I feel like it’s a Jacob vs. Edward type of debate now and my vote changes between every chapter! AHHHH. The ending of this! AHHH, I need to know what happens so get writing Autumn!
Sol, d’altro canto, è a pezzi.
3.5 My First, My Last Stars
I can’t imagine how hard it is to be a writer. To write one book has to be a monumental task. To create multiple books focusing on multiple characters is just too hard to think about.
Torn hearts and adult decisions – this is what Grace Miller and Sol Callan must face either together or separately.
Sol will always be special to me. He’s had to make some huge decisions that not only affect him, but those around him. Grace, on the other hand, was just a little too immature and fickle for me. Instead of the angst I was expecting, it was more frustration than anything. I just had a hard time connecting with her this time around. Young love is tough.
While this one didn’t tug at me like Desolate, it was still an enjoyable read and I’m looking forward to the conclusion.
If you enjoy a read that will have you on the edge of your seat all the way throughout, then this is a book that will definitely tick that box. Disgraceful continues where Desolate ends and I couldn’t put it down!
Moving forward when your life plans suddenly change will be hard, especially when you have never had a back up plan. Sol has to try and come to terms with the decisions that he has made and this was definitely so difficult for him, I could see and feel that. He has no choice choosing which path he can go down as that decision is taken out of his hands, but then he has to live with the subsequent guilt, confusion, love and heartache, all these emotions cannot be ignored and I hoped that Sol would forgive himself – come to terms with what has happened and move on.
Grace has to deal with what has happened in the past too. She finds herself in a situation where her broken heart is divided. I wouldn’t want to be in her shoes because to be totally honest with you, I’m not sure myself which way I want this story to go. My heart and feelings are conflicted and usually in a book I know how I would like to see the story end….. but not this time.
The author has written the most incredible story. Disgraceful focuses more on Grace and it’s angsty and wonderful and will have you on an emotional roller coaster ride. Autumn has a talent of writing so that the reader can feel every emotion as they turn the pages of her books. I’m torn right now because I adore all the characters and I don’t want to see any of them hurting.
I am desperate to read the conclusion in Absolution. I am anticipating that my emotions will suffer even more and I cannot wait.
I think I’m still processing everything that happened in this book… there were so many emotions. But honestly for me what pervailed beginning to end was pure damn ANGST. My goodness, Autumn about killed me and I have no doubt you’ll agree with me when you read it. I had been expecting it, I mean I knew how their story had ended before and I knew it was still going to be angsty as heck but I actually had no idea the kind of angst Autumn had in store for us. My heart was constantly acking for Sol, and Grace too but mostly Sol.
Ok, so I think everyone knows this from the blurb and all the teasers that there’s a new guy in Grace’s life so yes this book is a love triangle.. and boy this might have been one of the angstiest and hardest ones I had to read because that new guy is kind of hard not love too. And trust me I was trying really hard not to like him and I was on pins and needles hoping for him to do something wrong so neither I or Grace had to like anymore. BECAUSE I’M #TEAMSOL ALL THE WAY FOREVER! He’s my baby, and I want him happy and to get his girl back!
But yes he was super cute and he really liked Grace BUT he also has baggage, physically and emotionally and that baggage makes him jealous and when he’s jealous he is a jerk, so yeah he ain’t perfect. Grace is very conflicted, she’s still in love with Sol and trying to move on but what she feels for him is unbreakable, unstoppable, then again she really likes the new guy too. I love Grace but I did not like some of her actions, some of her decisions. I get that she wanted to be 1st in Sol’s life but I feel like she only ever thought of how he was struggling too after she did something wrong and I just ugh. I really didn’t want her and the new guy to happen or for things to go that far because now everyone is hurt and things are not gonna end well on anyone’s end no matter who she ends up with. Because I know that third and final book is gonna be angst filled too, I feel a lot of emotions are coming after that ending, and some drama and a whole lot of hurt.
Disgraceful was angst filled goodness through and through. You will feel conflicted (or not) alongside Grace and you will go through things with her like they are happening to you. Autumn’s writing is just as beautiful and powerful as ever, and she managed to love her characters more and more. Sol, I just love him to pieces. Grace, I love her but I hate some of her thoughts/actions and new guy well I’ve said enough on that. But even there’s so much more to this trilogy than just the three main characters… there’s a lot of second plot lines that I just want more of! I love all the side characters, Ian and MJ are couple and bff goals!!And Grace’s mom, I adore her! + all the new characters, I want most of them to get their own books!!! Need them.
As I said, I am and will always be #TeamSol, they are two pieces of the same soul and they are meant to be together. Sol deserves to get his girl after everything he’s been through… he’s found himself again, kind of and he’s ready to fight for her. And he’s gonna have to fight hard because she is currently taken by the new guy and things are quite serious. Autumn about killed me with that ending, for real. I was not expecting something like that… then again that moment showed exactly who she should be with. New guy showed his true colors again and Sol was cool, collected and a freaking hero. I could conjure up a thousand theories for how the 3rd book will start but I know Autumn will end up surprising me anyway with something I won’t see coming and you know what… I cannot wait. Make my heart hurt reall good but please don’t hurt my baby or I will hurt you (kidding, I love you).
Oh my, oh my, what did you do to me, Autumn Grey????
This is book 2 in the Grace Trilogy and thank good there’s a third book. We already know, and love, the characters from Desolate and now their story continues.
Grace tries to get her life back without Sol by her side and she’s on a good way. Going on a trip across Europe and then to college, meeting new people and old acquaintances again. She’s determined to get over Sol. But the heart wants, what the heart wants. And so Sol is always on her mind. Until someone else gets her attention. Although she’s unsure of her own feelings she wants to try.
Sol has to bear the consequences for his doing and he has to decide what he wants most in life. After a long separation from Grace he’s sure, that she’s all he wants. But it looks like Grace already moved on. And now Sol has to fight for the love of his life.
Wow, what an emotional up and down. Through the whole book I was so tense, the anticipation from page to page was killing me. And the angst, oh the angst! My poor heart. And to top it all off: the end, OMG, nasty cliffhanger (this explains book 3 ). Autumn Grey, you almost killed me but you nailed it (again). I love your writing, I love the stories you tell and the characters you create, how you give them a voice and how we can feel with them. I can’t wait to finish this trilogy.
Wow. Autumn Grey certainly wrote her heart out with book two in the Grace series. disgraceful is even more intense than desolate and took me on one heck of an emotional journey. This is clearly Grace Miller’s book, focusing on her life post-Sol and the whirlwind that follows. Picking up right where we left off in book 1, this continuation hurt my heart as both Grace and Sol have to come to grips with decisions made that will undoubtedly keep them apart. Decisions that set both of them on a course of discovery, regret, confusion and determination. And in the end, it’s the love that still drives each thought for both of them and for me, that gave me enough to hold on to as I fell happily into Grey’s words once more.
What is most apparent for Grace is the way she grows in this book. I loved seeing Grace become more self-assured as she navigates college for the first time. With her bestie, MJ by her side, she is a force to be reckoned with. Sure she is still worn down from her secret affair with Sol but she carries on with a grace that is well beyond her years. Her times with MJ and their new ‘sister’ in Zula are a nice respite from all the turmoil in Grace’s head from the radio silence from Sol and the burgeoning and unexpected new feelings for Levi. I liked him ever since meeting him in desolate and I wondered if there might be something there between him and Grace. Theirs is an easy-going kind of relationship, a perfect counter to all the difficulty with trying to be with Sol.
It was very clever of Grey to explore that prediction that the fortune teller told her in book one about their being two meaningful men in Grace’s life. Knowing that Sol was clearly one of them, I had a good feeling that Levi would be man number two. And as the story progresses, Grace’s heart still has to decide if Levi will always be number two or if he can finally be the man who would truly make her whole again.
I never imagined this would become a love triangle but I like that it’s not so black and white. Grace is clearly torn at such a young age about who she should truly be with. She doesn’t take any nonsense from either man just wanting to be someone’s first choice. Her spirit is wonderful to see as she navigates through a ton of push and pull and just trying to make it through in one piece.
Grey gives us one mother of a cliffhanger as lines are forever blurred with Grace smack dab in the middle of it all. My jaw dropped as those last words were read and I can’t even imagine how it might all turn out, hopeful that Grace doesn’t get lost among all the wreckage that has become her life.
disgraceful is beyond anything I could’ve imagined. It’s the difficult road that a young college student must navigate with her mind telling her one thing and her heart showing her another. With the perfect amount of insight from both Sol and Levi, I felt as if we truly got the whole story and just how invested each character is in wanting their own happy with the addictive woman that is Grace. Autumn Grey masterfully guides us through all the twists and turns and it’s a journey that is not to be missed.
Really well done, I happily give disgraceful a huge 5 stars!
