When I disappeared out of Lina Guardia’s life years ago, it was for her own good. She was too young.Too corruptible. Now our paths cross again. But things are different. She’s got secrets. Dangerous ones. She thinks she can keep me out of her world, but she’s in over her head and needs a protector. I just have to remember I can’t be more than that to her. I can’t give in to the temptation. … remember I can’t be more than that to her. I can’t give in to the temptation.
Because in six months, I’ll be a priest.
And she complicates things.
*Author’s Note: Corruptible was originally published with the title Disgraced.

Wow a book! Yet another sexy, perfect Amado brother.. I love Damon and Lina’s story. I absolutely adore Damon’s character, with his noble calmness, his loyelty towards Lina and her/his family!
Can be read as a standalone.
This story occurs a few years after Natasha Knight’s Dishonorable, but it can be read as a standalone.
Meet Damon. The younger twin brother of Raphael Amado. He is sexy, dark… and also about to become a priest. He should of been a priest years ago, but doubts always held him back.
Meet Lina. Damon’s sister-in-law. She was supposed to be in school in Chicago. But because of her guilt from putting her grandfather behind bars, her life took her to New York. Her decisions also put her in a dangerous position… one that she can’t escape.
Although Damon tries to stay on his path to priesthood, the forbidden romance between the two is scorching hot. In addition to the hot romance, the problems that have Lina trapped had me glued to the pages.
I enjoyed this book a lot. It’s dark, erotic, and the story just sucked me in instantly. If I had to choose between this and the previous book, I’d probably pick Disgraced because of the exciting storyline.
Corruptible is the second book in the Amado Brothers series. It does stand alone, but there are events from the first book that influence this book. Damon is in New York City for six months, making his final decision to become an ordained Priest or not when he makes a surprising reconnection. Lina is in NYC, but is completely living under the influence of the Russian mob. Determined to save her, regardless of how much she pushes him away, their connection and temptation reigns supreme, but will he be able to help her before too much damage is done to both of their souls?
Dang. Do not start this book unless you have the next several hours free, because it will completely suck you in and consume you. This book was brutal to read. Harder to read than the first book, and that was challenging enough. I definitely cried reading this book, completely tore up over everything that Lina needed to do and go through and experience. I felt like I was right there, feeling her fear and pain and confusion and lust and love. There’s so many twists and turns and while I trusted that there would be a happy ending, at times even the passion and connection that you could physically feel pulsing between these two fictional characters just didn’t seem like it would be enough. Lina was in so far over her head, but needed to see certain things through and as much as I loved her naivety with certain aspects of life, it was hard to see her face the harsh realities of the bed she made. Damon was not always good for her, especially for her heart, but I loved that he never gave up on her, was absolutely determined to keep her safe, and I loved that he had his own internal struggles to fight through. There is a lot of danger that stalks both of them through these pages, and I honestly couldn’t tell you what had me at the edge of my seat more – their fights for Lina’s freedom, or the heart pounding chemistry and passion that flowed between Lina and Damon. I stayed up so late past my bedtime to finish this book, but once I started I could not put this book down! I NEEDED to know what would happen next. I was not disappointed! And there’s just enough tidbits that have me wanting to know what will come next! So good! Dark, but fantastic.
I just knew Damon and Lina weren’t done with each other! This book was taboo and oh, so alluring! He’s going into the priesthood, and she’s off to college. When he accidentally runs into her two years later, a whole lot of questions arise, and there’s no way he’s letting her go again. She’s in trouble, and he’s determined to protect her at all costs. I loved their chemistry, as well as the way Damon was torn about his path in life. The steamy scenes were smoking hot, and they were both so set on doing things their way kept me on edge. This was an amazing book 2 in the Amado series, and I can’t wait for book 3!
Really Good!!!
Love the chemistry and the “sinful” relationship. These two characters have so much going on… Poor Damon has to decide “love the church or love the gIrl? Spunky (not so shy anymore) Lina has the attention of the Russian mob and a serious crush on Damon since she was 16. Lots of drama and suspense. Lots of sexiness and a little glimpse of the younger brother Zach in this book intrigued me so now I can’t wait to read the next book.
This was a hot, sexy read and I loved Damon! Lina was not as likeable for me. She was a bit TSTL which drives me crazy, but Damon totally made up for it!
I liked this one, but had red another one with the same theme that was better.
After reading Natasha Knight’s Dishonorable, I kind of had some expectations of what the second book would be. I thought Disgraced was going to be like the other Priest Taboo I have read before. But, no. HELL. TO. THE. NO! I wasn’t prepared for the insane ride Knight took me in– it’s dark, filthy, and oh-so-shocking! This is a priest taboo, yes, but it’s so much more. Just when you thought wanting a priest hero is enough to make this book the filthiest, nope, because this book is so much more. Damon and Lina’s story could be disturbing for some, but Natasha Knight was able to write it beautifully. Oh, and I hope you are open to reading some sexy scenes I am so sure you have never read before because… wow! Be ready to be pushed to your limits!
I have never been a dark reader, but Natasha Knight could write and publish all the dark stories her imaginative mind could come up with, and I won’t ever get tired of reading them. You know what I love most about this Amado Brothers series is you know that the reading experience won’t be easy, but as you go along, Natasha Knight will reward you with the most unique love stories, and wait for it… hottest SEX SCENES!
If you’re up for a one way ticket to hell with me because I am soooo falling in love with a servant of God, by all means my friends, read Disgraced and let’s all burn in Lucifer’s crib! This is the best taboo read you’ll ever get your hands on, so no regrets!
Disgraced is Damon and Lina’s story. We first met this couple in Dishonorable and I highly recommend that book one be read first for maximum reading enjoyment of Disgraced.
Damon Amado is just six months from taking his final vows to be ordained as a priest. However, he finds himself questioning and unsure. His mentor in the seminary sends him to NYC to do some soul searching at a parish before having to make the choice that determines the rest of his future.
For her entire life, Lina Garcia has always had people making decisions for her . . . until she decided to turn evidence in that puts her controlling grandfather in jail. Realizing she wants the freedom she never had, Lina leaves school in Chicago and heads to NYC where she looks up one of her grandfather’s connections . . . who just happens to be head of NYC’s Russian mafia. Lina finds herself playing piano in his exclusive club and in his debt . . . a debt that is transferred to his son when Sergei finds himself in prison . . . and, Alexi doesn’t play nice.
Much to Damon’s surprise, he runs into Lina at an exclusive and nefarious club and immediately realizes that she is in trouble. While trying to sort through what is going on with Lina, Damon finds himself experiencing thoughts and feelings extremely unbecoming to someone about to be ordained into the priesthood. As their attraction to one another continues to grow, so does their confusion as to what type of relationship they can possibly have with one another as well as the danger presented by Lina’s connections to the Russian mob.
Will Damon be able to keep Lina safe and fight his attraction to her so that he can commit his life to the church? Will Lina be able to escape her ties to the mob and claim her life as her own owing no one but herself anything while also keeping her heart intact from Damon?
Disgraced is raw, gritty, dark and taboo. It is everything that one can want in a dark romance with a well written plot that keeps you guessing to the very end if a happily ever after even has a chance at existing for the couple.
Natasha Knight did an incredible job describing the angst that tears Damon apart while trying to decide what is right for him . . . his love for the church, or his love for Lina. Lina has also done a lot of growing up since we were introduced to her in Dishonorable. She is no longer the shy young girl, but a fierce and sassy young woman determined to find her own way in life while keeping her loved ones safe.
If you enjoy your romance on the dark side, this series, especially Disgraced is the perfect read for you! 5 stars.
We first meet Damon and Lina in Dishonorable. This book picks up their story 4 years later. It can be read as a stand alone.
Damon and Lina are like magnets. They are drawn to eachother, but they also connected and then move away. It s interesting to see their relationships.
There is a lot going on in this book. Lina is in quite a mess and nothing is as it seems. It is full of twists and turns, suspence and sexy scenes.
A priest going straight to dominate seems a little far-fetched for me, but I did enjoy the story. It was something different than I am used to reading and I always like finding something different. I did get annoyed with Damon ignoring his own feelings, but that was based off a religious thing.
So dirty and oh so raw…Disgraced kept me up late and on the edge of my seat through the whole damn book. It’s a can’t put down book for sure. I loved every effin minute of it.
Damon and Lina’s sinfully hot story is a MUST READ!
If you haven’t read anything from Natasha Knight I highly recommend that you do…This lady can write some sinfully HOT scenes.
Happy Reading Everyone!!
