Loved this book. Hard to put down
Great read- reversal of sexual discrimination. Easy to see how this could happen! Sobering!
Boring and predictable. Couldnt bear to watch the poor wimp get plowed under by this witch that was treating him like a sex slave.
Michael Criton has a way of weaving research into an intriguing plot. His characters and story unfolds in a most entertaining manner.
He always wrote good books.
I like Michael Crichton, although I don’t think this was one of his better books. It was an easy read and I enjoyed it. Pretty predictable.
Book was well written. Since it was written in the nineties, it highlights how much technological advancement there has been since the mid-nineties. It was an interesting read given the reverse scenario with a sexual harassment claim, and the effect of corporate politics.
Typical Crichton!! Can’t ask for a better, almost real book!
This was riveting, although the detailed technology info at the beginning was a bit too much for me, so I skipped over a lot of it. I would highly recommend this book.
Started slowly, then picked up half way through. Preachy in places rather than subtle. Not one of his better efforts but still a good read.
Interesting read that explores the power dynamics involved in sexual harassment
Fun look back and yet engaged me in the story
Once I stared I couldn’t put it down. I got so wrapped up in the plot and the calculating character that I was up until 2 am and then couldn’t get to sleep. I tossed and turned, finally got some sleep. Next morning I was up and back to the book to find out how it was going to resolve the situation. I have never read such a good book without …
Not the author’s best but a good read.
Good story with corporation theme.
Early Creighton when he was writing about hospitals, health care. I am retired nurse so this appeals to me.
Best book I have read in a long time…
good book but then all of his are
One of his best!
